Inchies Day: Monday 4th October 2021

TFZer Bliss!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

MONDAY 4th OCTOBER 2021

05:00hrs: I woke, somewhat reluctantly, after over four hours kip. But, the urgent need of a wee-wee forced my body into an activity of sorts.

The brain also woke at the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket) with a lot of  PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling). I had a look. Sensing the pain from the right foot during my few steps to the bucket.

The swelling of the left foot had gone down nicely, but the stubborn, right plate seemed to be gaining fluid? Making my hobbling a little dodgy. But, no Accifauxpas so far.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Meandering Began

I was intent on getting the shirt from yesterday laundered. Nothing else seemed to matter; the shirt had to be done! And it was. Washed, rinsed, fabric-freshened, rinsed, and hung to dry over the sink.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Cleaning the Door Grill

Accifauxpa!

Then I wandered onto cleaning the walk-in cupboard door grill. I accrued two tiny cuts under the nails in doing so and clouted my right shoulder on the cabinet, getting my mass back up from the floor.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Waste Bags Sorted

I spent an inordinately long time making up some rubbish bags - I'm getting into this cleaning up lark - Unfortunately causing Accifaupas and Whoopsiedangleplops as I was doing the tasks.  Tsk!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Morning Carer Arrived

I finished making the mug of Glengettie and joined her in the front room.

I knew her name straight away, no doubt about it, this was Julie! But it wasn't when I asked her Monica. Thinking it must be Helen as she told me her name was Katie! I did feel a fool!

She got the medications thrown down my gullet, and I had chinwag, telling her about the new bucket and mop that I couldn't get on with or use properly.

Bade Helen farewell, no, Julie, farewell, and she took the two bags made earlier to the chute for me on her way out. When I told her that I would give it away to anyone who could use it, I was unsure, but she said someone would like to have it, so I gave it to her to take to them, whichever it was. I'll have to get another one now, but not from Amazon. I'll try to get out to look in the shops for a suitable one later on.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Washing Moved

I got the drying towel from the wet room and placed it on the airer.

Then moved the drying shirt from earlier into the wet room.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back onto Facebooking

But not for long...

09:10 > 0925hrs!

Getting Fed-Up with This!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Blogging

Got the Facebook finished and onto sorting today's template out.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Giving it Some knocking and banging now, the haughty git!

09:10 > 0925hrs!

Getting Even More Fed-Upperer!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Food Order Made

Oh, dear! I had to think about which company to use, and what they sell as well. I opted for Iceland in the end, but I fear their stupid substitutions...

Well, that was farcical!

Iceland, J Sainsbury's and Morrisons-Amazon - All not taking internet orders!

Great!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tried Again

Morrison direct was taking orders, so I gave them one - only fair, innit? Due in Wednesday 6th October, twixt 9-10:00hrs.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationings!

Superb Session.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Called Meridian

To get some help with the sorting the Warfarin Blood Test appointment being needed or not? Lady said someone would come down to see me.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Carer Called

It was Louise. Vert patient with me. Got the details then phoned the surgery. After a while, amidst some kerfuffling and riffing that needed clarifications, it was sorted as far as it could be. The surgery was to ring Louise, and she would come to inform me of the decisions. Bless her!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Nosh served Up

With a Difference

It took me ages to get it made up; Nicodemus's neurotransmitters were playing me up. But I got it served and attractive it looked to me.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Fell Asleep

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Louise Woke Me Up

The surgery appointment has been cancelled for tomorrow. Phew! That should save me some time and effort! Thanked the gal and offered the nibbles and plonk as a thank you.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Carer Arrived

I was making a brew of Thompsons Punjana when she came in. I knew her name was Caroline... I did as soon as she told it to me; when I greeted her calling the gal Helen. Harumph!

Got the medications sorted, mini-natter treats and off she went, taking the waste bags to the chute with her. I Fang you!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Felt Easier

I felt better; now I know that there will be no need to struggle to get to the surgery and back in the morning.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sweet Morpheus Stubborn

Sleep wasn't too keen on enveloping me. And belated Thought-Storms kicked off, a most uncomfortable few hours, I almost prayed for some rest. I knew I needed it, but would it come - No! Well, it did eventually... but it was dream-filled and not nice ones either. I cannot remember many details, only that I dreamt of my failures and ailments. I think I was in a coffin at one stage in the nightmare; it had an inside with lights and an old fashioned wall telephone built-in?

A messy Day Again!

Inchies Day: Sunday 3rd October 2021: Struggling this Sunday, in a pickle, no carers came...

♥ Hello! What going on here then? ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Saturday Night

Nosh:

Taste Rating 8/10.

Worst Ever Liberty-Global Outages

I did my bestest to finish the updating of the Facebook sites. But...

Ten minutes later...

8 minutes later...

12  minutes later.

Four minutes later.

Two minutes later.

Gave up waiting...

I realised it would mean hassle in the morning, trying to catch up, but I had no other choice but to quit.

I don't suppose Mr Fries, the $22million handsome salaried CEO of Liberty-Global, who owns Virgin Media, having paid $23billion for the privilege, and tries to hide the fact, hoping that the morons (Aka, customers) will blame Richard Branson for the inept, pathetic, service Virgin now... does he give a toss?

I don't think so!

SUNDAY 3rd OCTOBER 2021

06:50hrs: I woke up later than usual, having had over five wonderful hours kipping (With a few breaks for a wee-wee). The brain was stuttery, confused and resistant to anything logical as I attempted to concentrate on what this day will bring and jobs that needed to get achieved.

I very nearly nodded off again, but a double prompting stopped me. One, the need of a wee-wee. The other, the realisation that the carer may arrive at any time now.

So, I took the wee-wee. Went to get a wash and brush up and get some clothes on my elephantine torso and skinny limbs.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sys nudged up a smidge, and the pulse was again at 102. as it was last Monday. Body temp dropped an iota.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Started Prepping Josies meal

I got the base for the BBQ chilli in the saucepan. Added some leeks, onions and mushrooms later to it.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

J Sainsbury's Arrived

Of course, I hadn't forgotten about them coming at all, it was just that I was so busy, and the brain was still a little foggy, and with... alright, I forgot! The delivery driver soon sorted me out; I put the things in a box and bag I gave her and helped me bring them into the hallway.

There didn't seem much stuff delivered for £54 odd pounds?

Thanked the lady and tended her a choice of cans of plonk in thanks. I soon got the things sorted and stored.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The brain began to work!

It flooded from the grey matter. The Amazon Bucket and mop thingy is being delivered today, the Falls Team lady is calling tomorrow, and why has no Carer called yet? Mmm?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

08:10hrs - No Carer Yet?

I was so far behind, I'd not even started on this blog yet!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got the bath towel soaking

Put the grotty looking white bath towel in the sink to soak with bleach and liquid soap flakes, and put the kettle on. By the way, I was wee-weeing very often again.

Moved it into the wet room.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The right foot looked threatening

Accifauxpa!

As I checked on Josie's meal. Moved the spuds, leeks and mushrooms to the saucepan. Added sauce.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Whoopsiedangleplop!

I stubbed a toe; on my right foot! Argh! The right ankle was a little lumpy? I must make a start on this blog; I've not even got the template done yet... but no!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Intercom Rang

It was the Amazon man!

He'd brought the flat mop and bucket?

Well, I thought he had brought the bucket and mop, but the box was small?

How large it looked on the box...

And, in reality!

Here, compared to a 1litre bottle!

The six pieces of the mop were fun working out and about as safe as a Lim-Dem Government would be! I'm not too keen on trying it out now. Humph!

Dangerous to use, methinks?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Josies Meal Made

Added the little treats to her tray and off to serve it up at her front door.

I was integrated as to the contents, as usual, of the dish. Hehe! Josie sounded in good form to me, which was nice.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Towel Moved

Transferred the bath towel from the wet room to the clothes airer.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Waste to chute room

Got the bags sorted along with the cardboard from the so-called mop bucket delivery. Cindy'sHaha!

Accifauxpa!

Stubbed my toe on the trolley wheel when I misjudged the distance at the door!

Ah, well!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The skies Darkened

In patches?

Blogging

Hard work, so far behind. The evening carer might be coming already? And an hour later, the rain spots came as it got even darker now.

But pretty with it! No, even majestic?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got something to eat

So tired again. The brain-power is weakening as well.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Looked at the Comments

Tim and Bill replied to.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got to rest now!

But not sleep, too mixed headed.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got My Nosh

Mash with Worcestershire Sauce. Chilli Chicken and some raw Peruvian shelled peas, lemon mousse. 8.2/10.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Carer Arrived

I'd fallen to sleep with the well-emptied tray still balancing on my rotund belly - and Carer Helen came in. Haha! It's all a bit of haze as I was still in a sleep-induced semi-trance as I woke. I can remember falling back to sleep after Helen had departed.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Woke Up - Feeling Guilty?

I wish I could work out why. But I got up and started to clean and mop the kitchen floor with the new pretty-useless mop bucket equipment delivered...

A bruise or two and a cut acquired on the fingers from having to replace the cheapo plastic attachments that kept falling off of the bucket top. Put the perhaps never to be used again tackle in the wet room, and wee-weed like a marathon champion, as confusion returned.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sweet Morpheus Resistant!

The Thought Storms flowed as I got done in search of sleep. No chance, so I put the TV on... managed a few nod-offs, but they were terribly short affairs of a few minutes each time. Eventually, I must have drifted off cause I woke up about 04:00hrs, after about three hours kip.

INCHIES SUNDAY: Ode To The Day

 TO SUNDAY

A mop & bucket delivery,

Crap it was, caused me injury!

The whole day, full, being busy,

Sainsbury's order, very costly,

Stubbed my toes so cruelly,

Blood Pressure high needs scrutiny,

My brain had little comprehensivity,

Josie's nosh had a fair constituency,

Making it I got confused bitterly,

I lost all traces of objectivity,

My bladder lost all its efficiency...

But kept flowing with a new durability,

It showed signs of hyperactivity!

So frequently, no time for the lavatory,

Foot swollen again, showing sensitivity,

No cars in the car park, not a rarity,

Dark skies still enthused such beauty,

Wee-wees, showing more signs of activity,

The day producing a record proclivity,

For things that harboured abnormality,

Sunday was a real struggle, such a pity,

So I wrote this little ditty!
