Friday 20th August 2021: Inchies Diary, and sometimes the odd ode, that might be told?

♥ Does Anyone know what's going on here, Please? ♥

FRIDAY 20th AUGUST 202

Original Waking Up Pleasure!

07:25hrs: The latest ever time of waking for me. Thanks to my getting my head down so late (Liberty-Global Virgin Media and Amazon being the guilty ones who caused this!), and getting only three hours kip, if that!

I'll explain:

I woke up with a start. There I was, half-in, half-out of the c1968, second-hand £300, grotty, none-working recliner, with the lovely form of Carer Julie stood over me. Tsk! But, the manner of my awakening was the gem of the morning.

I was embarrassed, to say the least, yet it was as good an awakening as I might have prayed for. Haha! On seeing her and hearing her comforting inquiries into my state of health - for a second, I thought I might be in my usual condition when sleeping, of being stark naked. Frit me, that did! It must have been cold three hours ago, when I got down to kip, cause I'd put on a long thick dressing gown - and so very glad that I did now!

Carer Jill took it all calmly in her stride, and I thanked her for all the time and help given yesterday. She said there is a difference already to this room, and I agreed, telling her I'd taken photos last night and put him in my blog and Facebook.

She got the medicines given, and questions asked, but with a bit of smile on her gorgeous face this morning, no doubt my red face encouraged this. Haha!

As I strove to get up, Colin Cramps suddenly came on the attack, yet by the time I'd got up, caught my balance and grabbed Metal Mickey (Walking stick), the pains and distortedness had gone?

Jillie said she was coming to do tonight's medications for me and would collect the big bag of clothing then. She took some stuff down from the radiator to take to the charity table in Winwood Court Social area. Helps every time she calls. Precious is not a strong enough word to describe her. ♥ Off she went

A couple of minutes chin-wagging, and I was almost tempted to ask her if she would adopt me. Hahaha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

All Alone Again

But with the comfort of knowing Jill would be back!

I took some items to refill the radiator top in the hallway. No pain! I have to say that it was as if Arthur Itis had gone away on holiday?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Computer On

And tracked the order with the Marmite biscuits and Thompsons Punjana on it.

Amazon, hello, Amazon! You might, after failing to deliver my goods twice, I thought you might learn a bit? It's looking highly likely that I may, perhaps, get it delivered today.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got The Health Check Done

Another good set of figures!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationing!

A total overall of only about six dropsies, and that must be close to a record?

The bashed-up right shoulder is calming down at last. The bruise is stubborn, mind.

As I was in the shower, I did notice the Varicose Vanessa's, were coming lumpy again. Possible that Colin Cramp's attention caused this, do you think?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Worrying Tsunamis of Wee-Weeing

I went to make a brew of Glengettie tea. Got the kettle on, and I had to struggle swiftly to the emergency bucket. With the PP's and this thick long dressing gown on, I didn't think I'd make it in time to the wet room.

Another surprise for me! A brand new mode of weeing to me this one was. No messing or encouragement needed (and that is rare!) No indications whatever of any Pre or Cessational Micturitional dribbling, either. Bit of a surprising day for me up to now, mayhaps?

Washed, and back to the tea making. Poured it out, and going for the milk - I had to hobble back to the bucket? Dead the same M.O. as well? Like someone turning a tap (faucet) on full blast and then off after a few seconds?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back to the Computer

Had a nosey at the YourArea Emagazine

.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

CorelDrawing

I'm right out of blog top and humour graphicalisations now. Humph! I must go to creating some... back in a couple of hours - Well, earlier if the parcels arrive. The ParcelForce I can hope for, but the Amazon one with the trousers... well?

.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Oh, I'll look at the Tracker first...

Good!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Getting My Slipper On

Accifauxpas

I hit the back of my head, getting back up after grabbing the footwear. Humph!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.

Argh!

A letter telling me my insurance had run out!

I must beg someone to call them for me.

Brew and a nibble

.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tried To Put Oder in For Food

JS Sainsbury, I could make contact with, kept getting odd messages in computer Geek?.

So I tried Morrisons - Same result?

Iceland, the site was slow. But I struggled to get an order in, then it wouldn't let me pay?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Forgot About the Graphics!

Back on CorelDraw, tired out now.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Food Order arrived

I wished it was the Amazon trousers order. I fear this is not going to arrive. It's being cunningly ignored my Amazon!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got the Fodder Sorted

Cheesy mash with butter, Sapoca meat, canned peas, tomatoes of all shades, a cheese portion and a cheese portion

I had my first try of the Marmite biscuits.

Sorry, I bothered! Meal Rating: 7/10.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Put the TV on...

I used subtitles so I could hear if the buzzer went off while viewing.

Fell asleep all the same.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Woken Up By The Evening Carer, Jill

I'm afraid I was still half-asleep and was without doubt muddle-minded. I hope I didn't miss or forget something important that Jill might have said or told me. I remember she took the insurance letter with her, I think.

By the time Jillie was leaving, I was just coming around a bit. We spoke, I thanked her
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I Must Try Not to Fall Asleep

Mission impossible I fear. I don't really think that the trousers will ever arrive, but there must be a slight glimmer of hope; Else I might as well just go to sleep now. I am fed-up, with so little going right again! Thank heavens above for Jillie ♥.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.

Updated This Blog

Emailed the link. Went on Facebook.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Nope no Amazon Again

Can't find out how to contact them on the site. Anyone who can help, Please?

Yes, but how, please?

Monday 9th August 2021: Inchies Diary, and sometimes the odd ode, that might be told?

Mary is smiling in her TFZer Pool Car - Creme Eggs Inside? Haha!

MONDAY 9th AUGUST 2021

Crippling Colin Cramps

During the few hours kip I managed to get (Humph!), Colin Cramps gave me a pasting! I got up to get some exercise and got the Health Checks done while I was up.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Health Check Results

Considerably better figures this morning!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I got the computer on, and I found a photo that Sister Jane sent me yesterday. Terrible news, scary, depressing... Here it is...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Anticipations

Amazon Morrison order to be delivered, Morning Carer, and Warfarin INR Haematology Anti-Coagulation, DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) Blood Testing Nurse, all expected to visit me this Monday. A busy day ahead?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Morning Carer Arrived

07:48hrs: No making me jump this morning. Val always presses the door chime before coming in. The gal was in a bit of a rush this morning compared to usual. Still had a little natter with me after giving me the medications. ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

CorelDraw Graphic Making

I was well pleased with the results today. Saccades Sandra and Nicodemus' Neurotransmitters were both being kind to me, so my efforts were more productive and took a lot less time. ♥ The Wee-Weeing was regular this morning.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back To CorelDrawing

I'd got two graphics Diary-Top graphics done and saved for later us. (The wee-weeing was now even more incessant!) The Furesomides are doing their job, no question on that!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Food Delivery

08:55hrs: The door chimes rang out, and I fumbled my way to the door, calling out, "I'm coming!" The Peripheral Neuropathy was twitching the moment I stood up. But the mini-hallway is so narrow, I used the walls and Metal Mickey for support to get there pretty quickly. It was the Amazon Morrison order arriving.

I was taken aback somewhat at first... three bags, and I'd spent over £49? It must be right. Many items were cut to the limit allowed. Twiglets (2), fish sticks (2), and potatoes (1 bag). Not delivered, Milk Roll Loaf, Wholemeal cobs, and Pod peas!

Oh, flipping heckythump! The chicken sweet chilli chicken breasts had gone up by 50p. The pork loin increased by 20p. Had they any, the milk rolls would have been up by 25p. Twiglets up by 25p as well. Humph! Got the stuff away, had yet another wee-wee, and back to CorelDrawing. Rear-end wind and belching, a lot?

Got some spuds in the slow cooker, with some Worcestershire sauce as a flavouring.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Warfarin DVT Nurse Arrived

10:00hrs: An anticoagulation nurse came to take the blood. A nice, sociable gal she was too. We had a laugh, or two while did me.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.

All Alone Again

And I became feeling a little blue! Boo-who! Now, no more visitors are due. So I went to make a brew of Glengettie tea.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Change of Plans...

I decided to get the waste bags taken to the rubbish chute instead. So, I did!

Got the shoes on (Five mins).

Made another bag and got it on the box with the others I'd done (Ten Mins).

Had a wee-wee (Three Mins).

Checked around the flat (three minutes).

Got the box checked for safety (One minute)

At last, I was ready to leave the flat.

Limped along with the foyer of the flats, stubbed my toe on the trolley wheel as I opened the door to the chute room.

Got the bags down the cast-iron opening, without any trapped fingers! But on the way out backwards, I stubbed the same toe on the same wheel! I did larf! Humph! I lied as well. To the end of the lift lobby, and the draught from the wide-open window gave me legs and arms goose-bumps.

Got back in the flats looby, and struggling to get the trolley back in, I made it a hat-trick of toe stubbings! Argh!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back in the Apartment

Well, it sounds posher than flat!

A heavy rain shower had made Chestnut Walk below look like a river. It didn't last long.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Brewed a Mug of Glengettie

Checked on the spuds in the microwave... no, Crockpot! Smelt nice! The water still looked red from the sauce I'd added.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Herbert Hammers Away!

I could even hear it when I went into the kitchen, to find out it was going a bit dark again. I took this zoomed-in photo of the clouds.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Attended

Boy oh, boy, this was a victory for Constipation Conrad in the DESB (Daily-Evacuation-Stakes-Battle-for-Supremacy); Trotsky Terence was well beaten! It took me ages to get things to start.

While urging and painfully pushing things along, I succeeded with the crossword and got a few answers solved, well, three.

When the action began, it was a slow, agonistic job that took me ages to complete. Rock-solid giant meatball shaped depth-charges were released.

The stomach actually swelled up even more than usual after the evacuation? What! However, amazingly Harold's Haemorrhoids did not bleed at all; they stung a bit, mind. I was well-pleased with this and the fact that Little Inchies fungal lesion wasn't bleeding either!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tried To Get a Nap

It was no good; Herbert above's tap-tapping was persistent and so annoying. I had to give up, and I decided to get the ablutioning done.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionisationing Went Well!

Teeth cleaning started the aching off, but no too severely. Nasal Cleaning went quickly. Then the shaving... believe it not, but no nicks or cuts while I was shaving! Only a handful of dropsies!

The showering was almost perfect, just the one clout on the shoulder, which see Shaking Shoulder Shirley off for a while.

Medicationalisationing

Never gone betterer!

Dressing

No accifauxpas, whoopsiedangleplops, falls or knocking anything over. Smug Moded!

Had a wee-wee, washed the dandies, and made a brew of Thompsons Punjana.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Restarted The Computer

Uploaded the photos taken to use in this post and came across this mystery one...

Well, it's not a towel, it's not the shower curtain, but what is it, I ask?

I figuratively dug into my expiring memory. Tried to see what it couldn't be... Sherlock Mode here! I referred to my intelligence, EQ, and cunning problem-solving skills...

Nope, no idea!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

♥ Carer Jill Arrived ♥

Once again, as I was deep into trying to solve the above mystery, my nose was up to the computer screen... Jill had not rung the door-chimes again, and had come in, and was standing right behind, she said: "Hello, how are you keeping?" Made me jump that much. My first thought was Crikey; she'll kill me off one of these days! Hehehe!

Yes, I am in love again, that's several now, Nurse Christina and three carers, not to mention Warden Deana. Har-har-har!  But I didn't mind. I just appreciated that it was Jill who's came to tend to me ♥. She had arrived early to have time to offer help on the decluttering for me again, and she took a lot of stuff away for me.

Not only that, but she rang the surgery for me and rebooked the missed (my fault) appointment at the surgery for the Memory Test last Friday. She even said now we have a date (I loved that we, word! ♥), Monday 23rd August 15:00hrs, she will mention it to her boss, and ask whichever carer was on duty to remind me! Bless her! ♥

To Confusion

I miss the days of the gramophone,

It had an earthy distinctive tone,

Listening to Frankie Vaughn, my mind was blown,

Of course, the gramophone was not my own,

I had to bribe a neighbour, to get a loan,

Now I'm old and taking prednisolone,

Warfarin, Omeprazole and Fluxonazone,

Living on cheap bead and mascarpone,

Dwelling in a flat all on my own,

Sorry, if this has a depressing tone,

With Vascula Dementia, memories unknown,

I just stubbed my toe on a stone,

I had to have a little chunter and moan!

Friday 6th August 2021: Photographicalisations, and maybe the odd ode, that might be told?

♥ The TFZer Pool Car - Nancy at the wheel ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

FRIDAY 6th AUGUST 2021

05:30hrs: Woke up feeling weary. Forced out of the discomfort of the recliner, in need of another strained, weak unwilling wee-wee.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Straight to the Handwashing?

The haziness of the mind was lasting longer than usual. Almost in automatic mode, I found myself doing the handwashing of a long sleeve tee-shirt.

Potatoes in the crockpot.

Giant spuds today, ready to slice and serve later on, with the undecided yet meal.
Opened and left open the kitchenette window, took a shot of the morning view.

Sorted a few waste bags.

Got them in the box, ready to go down later on.

Feeling shattered already! Haha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Important Stuff Now - Made a Brew!

At last, a mug of Glengettie tea. Bootiful!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Mug Of Glengettie

I drank it on the balcony and took these shots of the morning views of the end car park on Chestnut Walk, awaiting marking lines? Plenty of red and black cars parked about again.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Phoo-Testing Kit Investigated

Opened the packet... The instructions were clearly indicated... The contents were well-arranged. A graph of requirements was simply laid out. I decided to get this done today. Blimey, a decision made? Just the one sample needed this year. The return box looked easy enough to use. (But this was not the case, as you'll read later).

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Prepping Photos To Use

Uploading and started editing pictures for use on this blog and realised I'd only taken one wee-wee this morning. Eerie that!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I was given a Lovely Shock! ♥

There I was, nose to the computer screen, and got a very welcome surprise, that made me jump a little, but with joy? The lovely Carer Jill (Who I have been mistakingly calling Valerie, sorry about that) had come in without me hearing her and was right behind me as she greeted me - boy oh boy, she startled me! Hahaha! But, with it being Jill, my spirits rose immediately!

The gal soon had the medications and questions sorted out for me. Jill checked on the poo instructions for me, and the bottle the stick has to go in is tiny; she realised this and agreed to write the date, as required on the label for me. The space was too small for me to write readable on it. Bless her cotton socks. ♥ Plus, now she has done this, it will encourage me to ensure that it gets done on the next Porcelain Throne visit.

On leaving, Jill took some handouts and the bags to the waste-chute for me. She is so kind! ♥ I thanked her as she departed.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Clunk, thud, Tap-Tap

The unloquacious but noisy Herbert kicked off with his noise. It must be a big job he's on today; he kept on for a long time, well, an hour or so.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.

Porcelain Throne - Phoo-Sampling

Within minutes, the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived, and off I trotted with the kit to the wet room. A fiddly messy job, pooping into a container, I can tell yer. When it came to getting the sample into the box, the Tear Here strip, which I tore... left a mess of cardboard still on top of the glue! I'll not go into detail.

I had to use sellotape to secure it for posting.

Left a right mess with bits of the cardboard stuck all over it. Ah, well, hope they take it.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.

Whoopsiedangleplop - Accifauxpas!

As I was getting the things out of the cupboard later to redistribute, this worries me somewhat; the left hand did a right side hand failure of Nicodemus's Neurotransmitters!
I dropped the bag of sugar I was moving, and with a nonchalant plop, it fell into the jug of water. Splashing the floor, cooker and me all over!

This put a damper on my previous contentedness! Got the mess sorted out, and with a pissed-off Humph! I went back to the computer.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Round Two of Herberts Noise

Sullen, but noisy Herbert kicked off again. However, for a shorter period, bless him!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Updating This Blog

Made some progress, thanks to Nicodemus's right hand not playing up so bad. Got the bag of recyclables and took it down to the bin, hoping to nee Robert and have a natter, and take the weekend treat to the office.

Back in a bit... I hope!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Inchies Mission Plans

1) Take the recycling down to the bin. (Have a look for Robert (Caretaker) to have a chinwag, gossip, or moan with)

2) Try to find Warden Deana (She's on her own this week, Warden Julie is on holiday, so she might well be a busy gal).

3) Post the Phoo sample back.

It should be simple enough... he says!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

All Readied and Off Out...

Bag of treats and recycling on the walker, with the return phoo-envelope in the trolley bag.

In the elevator

Down to the ground floor

The dank, dark ground floor lobby.

Through The Link Tunnel

Someone might be able to tell me what these flowers in the rest area outside are. They were being blown about a bit but seemed so resilient.

On the Other side to the left

I'm not sure what these plants are either. But, they could do with a trimming?

Deana was in her Office

Called in to try and cheer her up. Gave her the treats, wished her well, and outside I went.

Out To Post the Phoo-Package

Which I did. I thought about how well I was doing... but nervously, this doing well if foreign to me. Still, it was lovely! Hehe!

Posted the Mail Back in Winwood Court

Through the Link Passage Back

I took a photo of the 'green area' outside.

This reminded me even more of the day of 'The Day of the Triffids. Hee-hee!

Photographed Winwood's Laundry.

Nice and roomy, well cleaned.

I Saw Carer Katzia.

I met Carer Katzia in the second link passage. She was taking someone's rubbish to the bin but refused to let me take her photograph, but amusingly let me take a shot of the bags. Hehehe!

Into the Woodthorpe Court Lift

And up to the apartment. Not the most exciting of trips, well, it was to me. I enjoyed getting out, even for such a limited excursion.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Home, Kettle On - Wee-Wee

I made a brew of Glengettie tea, and as I put the milk in, I thought someone had turned off the lights! So sudden, the darkness and a rain shower came on, the likes of which I have never seen before. Vicious, yet it only lasted a minute or so?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Handwashing - Accifauxpas

Why you may well ask. So do I! And, I made a right mess of it too. Somehow or other, moving the bottle of bleach away from the bowl, the cap shot off, and I dropped the flipping thing! I thought I may have been quick enough to prevent any damage... but no! You can see where the bleach got on it, around the neck collar. So, now I have a grey and pinkish designed shirt. Humph!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Wee-Weeing Ad Nauseam, Now!

I'm getting a sore bottom, and the bottom's pustule is getting painful from all the getting up for a discharge of urine from the bladder so often and plumping down again... then, within minutes, I'm off once more! Worst of all, poor old Little Inchies fungal Lesion is getting a battering each time and is sure to be bleeding again, the stabbing and piercing pains so need some Daktacorting soon - Argh! Call it what you like, the widdling, piddling, slashing, wee-weeing or micturating, has never been so often in my life...

I hobbled into the wet room to find the Dakacort® cream; it was almost a pleasure not to find it - pain avoidance-wise, I mean. But something had to be done, else the bleeding will not stop of its own accord... Well, it might be when all the blood is gone. Hehehe! I checked in the kitchen drawers.

Damn it! I found a box. Hehe! Off to the wet room and applied some of the ointment, needing another wee-wee part-way through the procedure! This could be bad! But maybe not; this time, the pain was at level 6, not the usual 9. It's a life and a half innit?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back on the Computer

Within five minutes, I was tinkling in the grey bucket again. Not that I was ridding a lot of wee, they were all of the PSSU (Persistent, Short, Sharp, Uncomfortable) mode.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back on the Computer

Had a look at the YourArea Magazine

Hoping to find some news that was not depressing for once. Here I go...

 Not a lot!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Bit brighter temporarily

Well, a bit!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Late now

Oh, bugger it, I've no graphics in hand. Huh! Better get on CorelDraw then and make some, pronto! Better get on with the template again.

Running out of time and concentration again here, the Carer will be due soon.

Pressed on with Graphicationalisationing.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Arrived

Carer Jill ♥ arrived; by her usual silent approach tactics, she made me jump again. I wonder if they are planning to see me off? A few of them don't press the buzzer before coming in. Hahaha!

She was in a rush. She'd had a long day, bless her. Still managed a minute of chinwagging about how things are going and a laugh or two. ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I shall finish the updating...

He says, full of confidence - Hehehe!

Post it off - go on Facebooking, email the link, and then get some potatoes, peas and mackerel for supper. Or shall I? Will I stay awake long enough? May I fall asleep at the computer (Yes, it has been known - and I fell off of the chair - but unlike Brother-in-Law Pete, I didn't break my neck, as he did when he fell asleep and plopped off of the settee arm where he was seated at the time!) Better get on with it,, or It'll be gone midnight again before I get my head down......

 ARGH!

18:50hrs: SHIT! Internet Down Again!

Unbelievable!

 Gits!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

1910hrs: Hello, It's Back on, Although Slow

Better get it posted while I can. Then try Facebooking, and Emailing the link.

I shall do a follow up in the morning, that is if the internet is on, of course...

 Grrr!
