Saturday 18th September 2021: Inchies Day, and sometimes the odd ode that might get slipped in!

Can't remember if I posted this or not. Sad, innit? Yes, think I did...

 SATURDAY 18th SEPTEMBER 2021

Phenomenal!

04:15hrs: I coughed into wakefulness, felt the pain from the feet as I gingerly got them down from resting upon the chair. Then, as the grey cells kicked in and the fuzziness faded, I realised that I had been asleep and uninterrupted at that - for eight hours! No wee-weeing or Colin Cramps!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hobbling Much Easier!

Walking was much less hassle too! Which is what the brain started doing in its usual fashion. I kicked of doing little jobs and moving n to others before the first one was completed. This is becoming a hemerine habit nowadays.

Had a wee-wee, washed the overnight bucket, got the kettle on, made p some waste bags and put them near the door...

Went back to make a brew, got the Glengettie tea bag in the mug, turned the kettle back on, and got sidetracked when I saw the twinkling lights from the kitchen window. Fetched the camera and tried my bestest to get a decent shot of the view.

Best of the three I took.

Computer On

Oh, the SYS is creeping back up again, 134, 143, 157 and 165 this late morning? It will no doubt go down tomorrow; it usually does after three increases.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Wee-Wee - Accifauxpa!

This was about the seventh wee-wee of the morning. Each one is a little gushier than the previous one. So, I hastened to get the trews and PP's down and caught Little Inchies lesion as I did so.

Serves me right!

Sister Jane Rang

We had a little nattering session. Moaning, complaining about Nottingham Forest, and generally waffling merrily on. But, the need for yet another wee-wee arose, and we had to stop out chinwag. Tsk!

Blog Finished Off

I finally got the blog finished for Friday, sent it off to Blogger, Emailed the link and set about doing the Facebooking catch-up.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Door Chime Chimed

I got up and went to the door. (Boy, the feet had gotten worse!) The postie handed me a parcel. It was the bacon stand for the microwave... I decided there and then to make a bacon sarnie straight away!

Mixed responses... Humph!

I assembled the cheap, at most, weighing 3-ounce flimsy tray.
The dang thing didn't fit into the oven without catching and stopping the turntable all the time! I had to stand there and keep opening the door, replacing the paper towels, put the dropped off the stand bacon back on... Fed up with this already!

I lost count of the times I had to keep taking it out, rearranging the bacon, and the microwave will need an industrial cleaning! Even more fed-up now!

I was not impressed with how the bacon looked when I took it out!

However, after I'd cleaned up the cooler, sink, bowl and floor, from the usage of the crap cheapo plastic utensil. I caught a whiff of the bacon... my resistance and reluctance weakened slightly...

It tasted dang gorgeous!

I ate the bits of misshaped bacon, putting them in a slice of milk roll bread, and dunking it into some BBQ sauce...

Such a messy, dangerous, ham-handed, unsafe, overpriced, not-fit for the task it was bought for tacky tool!

I'll use it again when I get some more bacon bought! Hehehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Utilised

I hobbled to the wet room and got down. It was reluctant to start, so I had a go at the crossword book... but only for at most a minute or so.

When things activated, and the product came out, 'Clump, splash, gurgle, splash (accompanied by involuntary hurricane-force escapages of wind), and all done! Even the flush worked the first time!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Delivery!

It appears that I have made another error in the size of the bottles of black bean and Hickory Smoked BBQ sauce?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Suddenly Drained Again

Got some nibbles sorted out. Went down well, and within minutes of washing the pots and getting down, I fell asleep.

But the Thought Storms battered away at me. It felt like every five minutes, I was waking with something new to fret and worry over. Grrr!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer ARrived

I'm afraid there was not a lot I recall about this visit. I was a little out of it with the fatigue and not getting to sleep. I'm guessing it was Valerie who came... if not, Samantha. I did fall to rest after the carer left and acquired an hour with Sweet Morpheus. Then I woke with a jump - no idea what day or time it was.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Vague, Foggy-Minded

I took the waste bags to the chute room. I found this photo to remind me; I can't recall doing this at all.

LAST NIGHTs FARCE!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Wednesday Evening

I waited from 13:00hrs until just after 22:00hrs for the 4 items Amazon delivery of three trousers and a double pack of pyjama bottoms to arrive. Having been up by then for over 18 hours. Bedraggled, tired, dirty and smelly cause I dare not get a shower and miss the delivery; Oh, and fed up!

The internet going down so often at times; it was off more than on! A pig of a day, nowt going right much.

Looked at the tracker again... and got this screen - after being told for hours that it would arrive before 10:00hrs (Lying Scumbags!)

I was doing comments on Facebook at the time, replying to comment about Virgin Media Internet, and was in a gritty, grumpy mood anyway at the time.

Minutes later... I got this:

My insides were twisting and churning; I'm afraid I swore a little, quietly but viciously. My EQ shouted at me, keep calm. It's gonna get worse! Things got worse! Then, seconds later, I got this come in...

Your Package has been Delivered?

  What the _ _ _ _!

.After going into a stage-two panic, I had a good look around outside in case the box had been left anyway, but no! I had to look it up. I farted about trying to discover how I could talk to someone at Amazon. But I was getting all het-up and getting nowhere... I needed a wee-wee; I think that helped me to regain a limited modicum of mind control. I cannot remember how I got to it, but there was an option I eventually found to talk to a Valley Girl Robot, as mentioned by Tim Price in his last comment on the blog. It was all written, and you had to pick from a selection of options that came up, no opportunity to write anything you want to write in explanation, choose an answer sort of jobbie. I'm none the wiser now!

THURSDAY 19th AUGUST 2021

Gone midnight now, and I've still not finished the Facebooking yet: But first, I looked to see if any comments had come in, and there's one from Master of Science in Teaching (MST), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Institute of Physics (IOP), and Associate Professor of the NOSRCMA Near Ohio Red Car Monitoring Assessment (Financial Donations Accepted). And I thought I'd replied to it - But No? I believed I probably lost my comment? So I did that first, then got on with TFZer and Winwood Heights Facebooking again.

What a palava!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Due to Jill encouraging and helping me sort out the place ready for the expensive declutters to arrive and sort me out, there has been very little time to work on this post. So things will be a little terse and to the point today, a sort of readable shorthand. Hehehe! I thang You!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Having been up for a total of 28hours, thanks to the Amazon cock up and none delivery, did not help me get much sleep. Tsk! Only about 4 hours of bliss for me...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

06:35hrs: Woke, wee-wee'd, and got some waste bags made up. Wee-wee'd again, had a facewash quickie, made more bags up, got them in the box ready to go to the finger-trapping, toe-stubbing chute room.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

♥ Carer Jillie arrived ♥

The gal soon had the medications sorted for me. Jill kindly said she would come back later to help me with the sorting-out for an hour or so. The gal is so good to me. Bless her!

Continued Updating

I am so drained after so little kip. It's Amazon that I can keep awake... Oh, I meant amazing! But the connection and blame for Amazon's failures caused this humour!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Photo From The Balcony

The new car park at the end of Chestnut Walk had even fewer cars in it. But then again, it was much later than I would usually take a photo, thanks to Amazon failing to deliver the parcel yesterday. Thanks! Then I took a sap of a van and workmen below in the Emergency Vehicles Only parking space.

Then realised I'd not done the Health Checks yet - So I did them".

Jillie Returned

Two hours hard labour, Hehe! Only joking. Jillie was a treasure, and she kept me going at clearing away and shredding the paperwork. She even knew when I was getting weary. The gal is a genuine, gentle, ingenious genius! Fell of good advice. We, Jillie, mostly got more clearing done in two hours than I have done for days and took some stuff away with her for the Social table and bags for the chute! And she is beautiful with it! ♥ She departed to her next client. She used her downtime to come and help me again. Bless her cotton socks! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hoovered Up & Took Photos

The big pile that was on the armchair has been significantly reduced! Thanks, Jill ♥.

The space behind the £300, second-hand, decrepit, c1968, rickety recliner. And the collapsable desk. (All Jills work!♥) It was practically cleared! ♥ I must try to get a photo of Nottingham's finest carer ♥.

The Steptoe & Son room was still looking horrendously messy, but that is because it was! But I could see some improvement!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Checked The Tracker Again

Mind you, according to the tracker, he was yesterday! But that didn't stop that man from failing to turn up! He's getting closer.

Oh, I'd better mention that this is yesterdays trousers and pyjama bottoms, it's the Tabet cloths. The clothing should, could, might possibly, perhaps be arriving tomorrow.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Too tired Now, to Continue

Got the meal finished off, sat down in hopes of nodding off. Realised I can't afford to in case the trews arrive, fed-up, got the stew made.

It looked fine, smelt delicious, tucked into it... Whoopsiedangleplop! Foul Tasting! Gawd know what I'd done wrong? I fear only a 2/10 for Taste-Rating this time. And that being for the peas and bread. Oh, heckithump!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Head Down

Trying not to fall asleep in case Amazon Trews or the Brit Marmite biscuits arrive! A task (staying awake) that was not going to be easy this, so I found some crap that might not send me to sleep on the TV to watch. Zzzz!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Stirred Back Into Imitation Life

I Woke Up about two hours later, still blurry-eyed, and had an argument with myself about should I get up or sod it all?

Whoopsiedangleplop! First-Class!

Then It became evident to me that I'd fell asleep while eating some of the crap beef stew! I'm quick at noticing things like that!

Mainly through the squelching and feeling of the cold gravy, as it made rivers and streams in the folds of my stomach, as it ran down into my PPs! Which saved the recliner cover from getting wet, but Little Inchy got a soaking!

Having to clean things up and the need of a wee-wee forced me to get up anyway. As I stumbled to the kitchenette limpingly, gently banging my right shoulder on the door frame and dropping the walking stick, the door chimes rang out...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Arriving

I'm was a little confused and not really with it, but Carer Julie, bless her, spotted this straight away. I suppose the gravy, and the stuck-on peas clinging to my belly, and stained jammie-bottoms was a clue!)

Julie showed genuine concern and checked I was alright. ♥ At first, she thought I'd had a tumble with seeing Metal Mickey on the floor. Julie helped me sort things out mess-wise, and we got the medications taken. I hobbled with her to the door and wished her my thanks-her. She told me to forget everything and get back to sleep. Bless her!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Cleaned Myself Up

By the time I'd cleared up the mess I had made, I had got new PP's on; nodding off was not on the cards. I was not sleepy at all.

I suppose banging my knee on the cabinet corner, getting redressed and stubbing my toe on the recliner when I got back to the computer chair sort of rejuvenated me? No, that's not the word? But anyway, I don't think I could have got back to sleep.

The Thought Storms and self-recriminations were flowing again, mingled with the Amazon failures and letdowns, along with the pain of the toe-stubbing. Disgruntled, displeased with myself, irritated, annoyed, exasperated and in an insurrectionary mood!

New Car Park Checked

I placed this here for the attention of AAB: Associate of Applied Business, ASPT-APT: Associate in Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Computational Finance, Master of Science in Teaching (MST), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Institute of Physics (IOP), and Associate Professor of the NOSRCMA Near Ohio Red Car Monitoring Assessment (Financial Donations Accepted). Hahaha!

Blimus! A maroon and a white car in there tonight! The regulation since opening three red vehicles were in there.

Well, would you believe it?

The Witching Hour Again?

Down Again! Absolute Crap!

Does Steve Fries know about this?

At $22m salary plus expenses, does he care? Should he care? His bosses are obviously content to let him carry on number crunching and conning them... but I don't imagine they would give a toss about customers either?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

CorelDrawing

I started on a graphic on CorelDraw whilst hoping for the led-by, bedevilled Steve Fries, Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet, to start again. It took a while. So irking!

Virgin Media Internet Still Down

Virgin Media Internet, owned and ruined by Liberty-Global not back on yet. So, I washed the green long sleeve tee-shirt in the sink.

Virgin Media Internet Still Down

I ointmentated the stubbed toe; well, heel it was actually.

The feet are looking fine, by the way.

Tuesday 27th July 2021.

04:45: Woke, wishing I felt like I did yesterday morning. But Anne Gyna and Duodenal Donald had both returned to keep me company.

Getting out of the £300 second-hand recliner was back to being a painful struggle. However, the wee-wee had no pre or after dribbles and was not hurtful at all.

So, alls not bad.

Off to the kitchenette to get the kettle on, and I took a couple of photos with the Kodak camera of the morning view.

Prepped for the Morrison Delivery

Emptied the waste bags out of the box on the trolley, so I could use the box to put the food delivery items into it when delivered.

Put some carriers ready to use, as I don't think the box alone will be big enough; it's a big order. But I can always rely on Morrisons for something to be missing and stupid substitutes. Checked on the emails to see if any details were available yet...

Nope, no email. So the mystery of what will be missing, and any substituted, remains a guess. I soon found out, though. Humph!

Porcelain Throne & ablutions

Back in a while... The Porcelain Throne session went much more manageable than usual, although a smidge gooey. And massive again! Hehe! I'm back: and with decent news of both tasks completed.

The teeth cleaning went well. Four minor nicks shaving. Not too many dropsies!

A Stand-up job, too early to use the shower.

Ear oil, eye drops,  Germoloided Harolds Haemorrhoids, Nasal clearance, and I Phorpain gelled ankles and knees.

A Mug of Glengettie - Computer On

Started this blog off. Stopped to check on the day and time of the Morrison order. Due today. Got just to graphics completed, and the carer arrived.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Carer Sam(antha) Arrived

08:00hrs: Meridian's morning carer appeared in the kitchen when I was making a mug of tea. Got me sorted, and we ham a couple of minutes chinwag, mainly consisting of me telling her about yesterdays fantastic morning 'feel-Good' experience and how things are back to their painful and handicapping best now. Hehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Morrison Delivery Arrived

And what a farce it was!

They are doing like Sainsbury now and delivering loose, no carrier bags. I handed the man the box and two sacks to put the good into.

As he was on the last delivery box, he came across a leaking bottle of toilet cleaner and bleach bottle! What a mess! Took him ages to get it sorted. Took the bleach and bag of potatoes that had got soaked off of the bill. The bleach had also destroyed the boxes holding the nasal spray, and Germolene, what else, was yet to be discovered!

Off he went, and I collected the bleach smelling fooder and took it into the kitchen.

Not in a good mood now! And it got worse!

Far less food to go into the fridge and freezer. Partly due to the items 'Not Available', and stupid substitution again!

No Garden Peas
No Small Potatoes
No Milk Roll Bread
No Spring Water
No Limoncello Dessert

I'd ordered two small 90g pots of Limoncello (Josie likes them), and they substituted them with another Limoncello alright - one large 490g tray. Massive, and once it's opened, it will not keep for long. Never mind... much!

Added to the hour-plus I had to spend cleaning up the products with bleach on them. A most unsatisfactory food delivery.

Nothing new there then!

Waste Bags Sorted & to the Rubbish Chute

Got myself in a pickle sorting out the bags due to MBS (Memory Blank Spots). I didn't have any of them yesterday, which was super - but their return today makes me feel all the worst for them. It's not good.

Off to the Chute Room...

Came back to the flat, stored the trolley in the corner of the hallway, breathed a sigh of relief, and got into the kitchen... to find I'm missed off two bags of waste. So back to the chute with them, both, deposited them, and wanted to cry!

After yesterdays Miracle Bother Free day, this incident had me all bothered, tense and fed-up!

Thank You, Morrisons, You Made It!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back to CorelDraw Graphic Creating

Got two for tomorrow done, then tried to get some had down.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

No Chance!

Gave up and got up again! Went to check around to see that I'd not left something on or off that should or shouldn't be, and blow me, I found another waste bag in the kitchen!

Ablutions... well, A Shower Taken

I went very well, as did the medicationing, too! Duodenal Donald and Anne Gyna were coming into active modes!

The feet and less were looking good. But Colin Cramps was still giving me some stick.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

To The Chute Room.

Trapped the knuckles for the first time in ages, and I hope it will be ages before I do it again!

Updating this Blog

As I wait for the evening carer to arrive, they could come any time now. Hello, odd noises coming from somewhere, sounds a persistent flapping of a letterbox lid, but louder, of course. I'll go and make sure it wasn't anyone knocking... Nope!

Ode To The Day

Not as good as yesterday, a bit of a sham,

Must get ready for Friday's echoencephalogram,

Better not take a water tablet or alprazolam,

It's been a day of utter farce and bedlam,

Dentist on Monday, better take the citalopram,

Morrison's disaster gave my confidence a slam,

Duodenal Donalds bad, I'll take Codeine, a 30 gram,

Am I bothered? Could I give a damn?

Am I losing it again? I am, I am!
