INCHIES DAY: Monday 11th October 2021:

♥ TFZer Nancy Dismounting ♥

TUESDAY 11th OCTOBER 2021

00:04hrs: Working on this template.

01:30hrs: Got the template finished.

Not too bad at all. Pulse down a smidgeon, SYS as well. Jolly Good!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Graphic Creating

Onto Coreldraw. Got a header done and two sub graphicalisations done.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Made A Brew

Glengettie this time and had a few shortcake biscuits; well dunked naturally. I knew I'd need something more substantial later, lurking hunger pangs!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Began this blog

03:15hrs: I started on today's diary. I had been going along nicely previously, but Saccades began giving out the blurred vision, which slowed everything down terribly. Created many errors and mistakes as well. Hey-Ho!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Dreaded Hum!

Only heard it a few minutes ago, but it's back with a vengeance this morning! Louder than ever! A Constant running-fan like noise. It seems to be flipping more annoying than ever, as well!

Cragnangles!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back On CorelDraw

04:00hrs: Another go, see how things go with Saccades. Oh, no! Abandoned these plans, sight nothing like good enough!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Plates Are PAinful?

As to why the feet should suddenly kick-off, I know not, but they indeed have!

The flash came on the Kodak as I took this photo; the feet tone came out looking slightly more vivid than it really was. You can't win... well, not me! The right foot, I fear, is building fluid again. The itching from under the skin has returned too!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Brekkers Needed

A BBQ microwave Rustler, perhaps? Yes, that'll do me. Get it before the morning carer arrives.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

But The Morning Carer Didn't Arrive!

Around 0810hrs, no carer called. I was fighting off falling asleep, but not for long, and drifted off into a dream-filled sleep. Annoyingly, yet again, I can't remember what the dream was about.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sprung Awake!

11:00hrs: I shot awake, with the thought-storms rampant! I was fully cognisant of the missing Meridian carer. This concerned me a bit. Doubts crept into my ponderings... had I somehow locked the flat door? Had a carer been and not pressed the door chime, it does fail sometimes. I rose from the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, not-working, rickety, rusty, incommodious, grotty recliner and hobbled to check the door.

No, not locked, I tried the buzzer, and it rang out the reasonably loud 'Oh, my darling Clementine' tune. Back to the front room, I trudged, confused again now. I thought I was doing well.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutions Sorted

Really, I'd gone to the wet room to visit the Porcelain Throne initially. But things were rock solid, and despite the innards telling me it needed an evacuation, it seems that Constipation Conrad was in charge! The innards being blocked, my be due to a tablet I've not taken yet? I took one of the Dioctyl ® Poo-softeners.

So, I got the ablutions tended to. A better session than for ages!

The nasal clearing went a smidge bloody?

The teeth cleaning was painful.

The shaving was a cracking job - I don't think I had a single cut or nick!

Showering had only two minor knocks. The first one was against the power box, the other one on the inner grab rail!

Both, caused by dropsies retrieving.

Overall, the dropsies totalled only about six incidents! A Smug-Mode!

The right foot was still tender underfoot, mind you. Toe toes were looking chubby and seemed fluid-filled; here we go again, methinks. Tsk!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Titivated the kitchen

Walking was still causing me a bit of stinging underfoot, and my balance was not so good now.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Meridian Carers Called

After eleven o'clock, I rang the Meridian office located in Winwood Court to advise them of the missing carer.

The lady said she'd send someone up straight away to me.

Care gal Dionne came shortly. No point in my complaining, I know the problems they face with staff not coming in, holidays etc.

Dionne got the tablets sorted. She had to get back to the office, but she let me waffle for a minute first, and she took the waste bag to the chute for me as leaving. ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Computerisationing

Made a start on this blog at last.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hunger Returns

I made the last ready-cooked roast vegetable risotto. I only had to microwave it. I added some peas, black bean sauce, sliced some spuds and the last of the yoghourts. By Gum, I live well, don't I? I will order some more later after my beloved afternoon nap.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Fatigue Attack Again

Getting regular theses are lately!

And yet once more, they were of the dream-filled stop and start, waking, nodding off again, waking... routine.

This time, I remembered bits of one of the dreams and scribbled on the recliner-side notepad. Oh, yes!

Unfortunately, I could not really understand anything I'd written due to my atrocious rushed handwriting.

I could read dream, Jill, five, and last or lost. Can anyone helpeth, please?

The Jillie mention was understandable. I still can't believe she didn't adopt me as her Grandad? Hehehe! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Yet Another Cat-Nap!

I settled to watch something on the TV, and I think within minutes, I'd nodded off again this time, I seemed to sleep right through... For hours... Until being woken by Carer Carolynne, the TV still on, and my bloated Belisha beacon-like right foot stuck up on the back of the swivel chair?

The poor gal looked weary and tired again. Carolynne's been doing so many hours lately, bless her cotton socks ♥.

I rearranged my twisted body and limbs and rose up, using only the left foot to stand on, the right being so painful. I used two sticks to manoeuvre about for a while.

As I was getting the stuck up in the air leg down, I clunked it against the metal chair leg, and I uttered something like, "Well, thank you kindly for that, foot, did me a lot of good that did!" I'm so glad I did; cause Carolynne emitted a laugh! The medications were sorted, and a few words were exchanged. I offered Carolynne a choice of nibbles and plonk, and she took a waste bag with her to the chute for me.♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Amazon-Morrison Order

I made up a Morrison order to be delivered by Amazon and was most disappointed to see that the Roasted Vegetable Risotto meals were not available online. Humph, and Gragglespitgurgle!

Of course, the tempting Beef in black bean sauce was, as I thought it might, available; it's £1.35 more to buy!

I have to say I was surprised at the total cost. I didn't think that I'd spent that much at all? Baffled once again!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Demand

Got the kettle on, made a mug of Thompsons Punjana, and left it to marinate and get good and strong. Off to the Porcelain Throne, with crossed fingers for a movement this time. Hehehe!

Went through the Risk Assessors orders this time. I got my knees up and waited for the result of doing so. Success!

It took a bit of effort to get things going, but the giant torpedo flowed, the pain eased, and great relief was enjoyed! Those Dioctyls sometimes work a treat!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Quarter Moon Observed!

I got the Kodak, and I toyed with the options... Getting myself more and more confused. I tried to get a distance and close shot of the moon.

As you can see, they were both abysmal failures. I tried several photographings' of each range, but these two were the only ones partly recognisable! Grumph!

Most annoying! Globblegripes!

Up All Night!

THURSDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2021

Nodded of at 03:30hrs. 04:25hrs: I woke in pain with Colin Cramps enjoying his applicationing of absolute unbearable pain in both of my legs! Naturally, it didn't bother me.

I stumbled out of the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, nauseously beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety, difficile, crumb-covered, tatty recliner. Caught my balance, had a weak unwilling wee-wee, and decided to get the Health Checks done, as the hopes of getting back to sleep suffered, with the continuing attention of Colin Cramps!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

So, I Got The Health Checks Done

With some good results too!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

06:30hrs: Fell Asleep Again

06:40hrs; had to go for a wee-wee. The end of any chances of any more kipping now! Weak, unwilling and sprinkly!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

End Car Park Check

Black and White Minstrel show in the park this morning. The neatly parked (Haha!) red van seems to be claiming this spot for himself to park badly into?
Trapped my arm while withdrawing it from the gap. I'm so glad this didn't happen to one of the overcharging, bullyings, harassing, vetoed by Nottingham City Care as suitable to work for disabled, elderly people, declutterers and cleaners who charged me £345 for doing neither correctly. Also causing me injury via having a tumble because they had left the kitchen floor soaking wet and slippery; they had sodded off after being paid in cash as they demanded...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sorting Kitchen Cupboard

 WHOOPSIEDANGLEPLOP!

If it had not been for my changing my mind so often, taking out the things to rearrange, and getting them back in - and still not happy with the layout. Then, the shelf with the new payout was completed. I'd done the job in an hour or so... and I shouldn't have been feeling so pretty darned smug about it...

The shelf collapsed, leaving a right dirty great mess to be cleaned up, and me with a bruised toe that a bottle had fallen on!

I abandoned my efforts, threw the stuff back in the cupboard, swore quietly but profusely,  passed wind, and made a brew of Glengettie tea while sulking!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Amazon Shopper Cameth

He was soon up at the door. Dropped the bag in the door sill and was off like a shot... I think he was on a promise?

I thought I made a nifty lob of getting the parcels in a line in the hallway. Then wondered why I'd bothered doing that?

There will be a reason, but...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

To The Kitchenette

Got them into the kitchen, and the fodder was stored away safely, and injury-free too! A welcome rarity there! I was also a smidgeon proud when I remembered resisting getting some fresh cream French Horn cakes when ordering, Oh, Yes!

How I managed to order the jam-filled doughnuts is a mystery to me. I had them with a mug of 99 tea.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Accifauxpas!

More cleaning up after the £345 Decluttering and Cleaning men. I was struggling to reach between the cooker and the cabinet to retrieve a dropped scouring pad and...

Oh, dearie me: I'm getting myself going again. Hehehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Getting Ultra Confused Now

I honestly wasn't sure who had been and who not, what time of the day it was, morning or evening? What I was doing before my rant. What I was supposed to be doing... I decided to get something to eat and sit for a while to recover. Sleep I may discover?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

New Microwave Utilised!

I did a reasonable job with the meal.

A simple meal, for a simpleton. It went down well, despite the drooping eyelids. It didn't take long for me to drop of into the land of Sweet Morpheous. I even recall a bit of a dream I had. I was in an office block running around being chased by a gang or declutterers and cleaners... Hehehe! I made that up! Sorry.

I was floating in the sky, birdlike, but without any flapping of wings or arms; it was incredibly mitigatory, despite my being puzzled as I soared, as to how I could be floating like this?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I stirred into Imitation Life

As I was grappling with Metal Mickey, to heave my elephantine bellied flobby-body up onto my feet, the evening carer crept cunningly up behind me - The poor thing was in a right state, bless her. Once again, some carer had failed to turn up for work, and she had endless extra calls to do, so not much time for a chinwag this time. I managed to drop a couple of funnies and an imitation in for her. I think she was a small iota happier when she left me. I'd given her a choice of drinkies and a packet of cream biscuits to nibble. She let me take a quick photograph of her.

Oh, it was Helen who did me.

Update Photo - End Car Park

Just for the devil of it!

By gum, I know how to have fun!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

On The Computer

Grafting away and getting slower and more confused all the time.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Evening Suddenly Darkened

I'd put the Canon camera on to charge, so I used my Kodak to take these pictures of what I thought was an amazing vista of clouds on view from the balcony.

An ever-changing view, as the sun was blocked and unblocked.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationing Time

The pins and patellas were looking and now feeling a lot better than this morning? Why? Pass!

I was still having trouble finding things needed. The decluttering and cleaning failure blokes had hidden stuff so effectively. I had to try and get to the box of things they'd effectively hidden behind the wheelie-trays. Stuff in that box from the kitchen, front room and spare room?

But I had no luck with my hopes of finding the two full bottles of Comfort liquid that I told them not to take. Huh!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Thompsons Punjana Time

Got some potatoes ready to make the microwave-mini-meal later on and made a brew of Thompsons tea.

Continued Updating the Blog

It was slow work, with my confusion and weariness getting worse. It's well gone midnight already. I can't help but fear that the confusion when I get to sleep and even wake up will be worse than ever in the morning. Updating took me an hour or two to do. Ah, well!

SATURDAY 21st AUGUST 2021

But it Wasn't!

 Carer Sobia Woke Me Up

A most embarrassing explanation!

I was woken up by Carer Sobia Naheed, who came in looking down rather disgustedly at me. And I do not blame her!

Why, you ask? (I hope) I'll explain:

After three days with a total of a barely amassed four hours sleep, due to Amazon's lies and failed promises that my three pairs of trousers and two jammie-bottoms would be delivered yesterday (also promised and assured for the previous two days), and they had failed to arrive yet again. Last night I fell asleep and stayed that way for over eight hours. Hence, poor Sobia was greeted with the shocking sight of a blubbery mass hanging half in and half out of the recliner - bad enough in itself, however, to make it worse...

Although I do not recall any of it, I think I must have been nocturnal nibbling. Well, it was apparent that I had been. The clues found were; the empty that was an entire big pot of Twiglets was on the floor with the lid resting in my crutch! Broken bits of Twiglets and crumbs on and in my stomach folds, the recliner. And the armchair next to it, the footrest, and all over the carpet at my feet! Empty iced lolly wrappers, and one from a 4-count Marmite biscuit, were found in the bin.

I cringed with embarrassment!

Sobia sorted the medicines, and I thanked her; I think I mumbled some sort of apology for being in the condition I was when she arrived.

My lowest point of humiliation and depression for yonks fell on me as the carer left.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Self Disgust & Thought Storms Raged

No tea, but I needed a wee. And it was a marathon one. Which unfortunately gave me time to mind-stew and ponder over my future, such as it is. I could see the mess from nocturnal nibbling, and this made me feel even worse; my darkness of mind flowed. I pressed on with cleaning up the mess.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Started Clearing My Mess

I'd picked up the ton and a half of unbroken Twiglets before I started photographing.

Back-breaking and time consuming, but my own fault, I suppose.

Got the mini-hoover out.

Sorted the bins, here, kitchen and wet room, and got them made up and taken to the rubbish chute.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Called to the Porcelain Throne

It just gets worse when things start to go wrong for me. A terrible embarrassing waking up, the mess to clean, and now, the worse for years Porcelain Throne Session suffered!

I got down and settled on the seat and stayed there for over half an hour! The crossword book had never seen so much interest.

I'd moved onto Crossword 98 by the time evacuation had started. Agony, it was, too!

On the bright side, there was a little mess. But a lot of bleeding from Harold's Haemorrhoids.

I had to utilise the spiked-plastic thingamabob to break things up before the flushing would move anything from the bowl.

Took a Dioctyl poo softener.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Vacuumed Up Again

I used the handheld (and dropped in my case, Tsk!) Black & Decker this time. Yes, there were some bits I'd missed - in fact, I believe they could be breeding; there seems a lot more than earlier on? Haha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Much Belated Health Checks

Flabergasting Results!

Just take a look at these figures. Wow!

First Time Ever in the 'Ideal' green area!!!

Tim and Bill, my cyber buddies, both think the Carers calling on me have caused the drop. A little worrying point, I have gone down that much over the past six days. I am very close to the 'LOW' blue section now - Can I win?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Blog Started at Last

I had Herbert making some varying noises this morning. The first lot was reminiscent of Wood Pigeons cooing, but so much louder, of course. The cooing had sort of warble to it as well... that doesn't help, does it? Hehe! I've no guess as of what Herbert was making this time.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Porcelain Throne Again!

I meandered to the wet room, certain almost smugly assured that after the first session, there would be no rush needed.

Got in and the crossword book out. (I'm on puzzle 90 now after the last session).

When the movement began, I gritted my teeth and girded my loins for the agony to come... but no! A smooth long (very long considering its short time since the first effort) of evacuated product flowed out. I curled itself into an imitation giant Cumberland sausage as it appeared it would block the pipework. No such thing! One flush and all gone! A fair bit of bleeding, mind you. I had done well there!

The dioctyl seems to have worked!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Tea, a wee-wee & on the Computer

Ah, Herbert was back to his regular beat now, tap-tapping with the odd clunk thrown in.

After an hour or so, I decided to stop and sort the decluttering prep work done.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Decluttering Sorting Done

Every bit helps

I'd got the emptied earlier waste-bag box all ready and just needed the energy to make up some more bags.

I moved a lot of stuff to the corner in the hall to go down to the Winwood Table, or someone can have them, as long as they go!

I had to put the big vacuum to go out with the other stuff. I tried using it earlier on, but needed two hands to control it, which would not be safe if Nicodemus' Neurotransmitters died, or Peripheral Pete's leg dancing kicks off while I'm using it so, it'll have to go.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Back to the Computer

Amazingly, I spotted some more bits of Twiglets on the same bit of carpet I've hoovered twice today?

Beats me! Nothing new there, though.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 YourArea Emag Snippets

Accompanied occasionally, but not too often, by Hindrance-Herbert, a sort of rustling sound now... no, back to tap-tapping now. On with the magazine searching.

All violence and cookery. I'm not in the mood now; I'm drained again.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Cleaned  Up a Bit

Humph! That's done me in. Getting back up after doing the fireplace, Backpain Brenda and Shaking Shoulder Shirley have both been a bother ever since. Too much of a hassle; they don't usually last this long.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Graphics Created

CorelDraw some graphics and saved them to file for use in the blog late on.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Got Iceland Order in

Milk and bread are essential. I remembered.

Somehow or other, part of the last order was added to this one? Flumblecrags!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  - -

 Cleaned  a Smidgeon

Washed and disinfected the much-used today NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket).

Then got the electric fire plate washed, no I didn't. Changed my mind because the evening carer might be coming any time now.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  - -

 Evening Carer Arrived

It was Valerie. Got me sorted and was off on her rounds. After, I might add, having a gossip and laugh at me funnies. Hehe!

 Ode to the Day

Woke up, with food all over me & many a stain,

Care woke me up, I felt so inurbane,

She must have thought me, lurdane,

Amazon let down, yet again,

My faith in them was all in vain,

Hopes for improved luck was slain!

What to do? I was uncertain,

Pee'd off, is this the final curtain?

For me, life's a rocky terrain,

How much longer can I sustain,

Incorrectness; is a hell of a strain,

Not helped, with me being a scatterbrain,

From the urge to cry, I must restrain,

My bouncy outlook on life, I must retain,

Had a few toe stubbings, oh, the pain!

Respect for Amazon, no more remain,

They'll have a job for it to regain,

I think they hate me, that's very plain,

No satisfaction from them can I obtain,

All het-up, better take my Novocain,

Where is it? Oh, dear, it's been mislain?

Such stupidity, can I really maintain?

Life can be hard with Saccades eyestrain,

Today, it's been a bit of a bane,

What if I throw coins into a fountain?

I say some odd things, am I on cocaine?

I'm better off than many, so mustn't complain,

I bent down to clean, and now I've back pain,

My dotage, I'll have to appertain,

But my desires for that are on the wane,

There you are. I've lost the plot again!

I think I live life, transmundane!

Due to the fact that Iceland is delivering from 06:00hrs in the morning and the Doctors appointment, I'll need to get some kip early tonight. So I'll catch on to what happens after this in tomorrows Inchies Day - God willing.
