Thursday 23rd September 2021: Inchies Day, and sometimes the odd ode that might get slipped in!

♥ What's All This Then? ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

THURSDAY 23rd SEPTEMBER 2021

05:15hrs: I was in a fuzzy minded-mood. Concentrating was hard, trying to keep to one subject to work out the problem - But the Thought Storms were rampant. It took me a  while to partially clear the fog; needing a wee-wee helped, I think. But the earlier worries and things IU knew needed tackling just dissipated as I wee'd away, and I could not claw them back from my memory.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Pottering Around!

I was rambling around without any absolute control or structure to my thoughts. This was the oddest sensation, and it did worry me a bit in the first instance.

I found myself making up waste bags and placed them near the door to go to the chute later on, after 08:00hrs.

Health Checks

Blood Pressure peaked a little.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationing!

A bloody affair this morning, in more ways than one, three, I fear.

Daktacort®

Agonydangles! Dangnableisations! and Cragnanglingeckers! That was painful!

Only the second time I've used the Morrison 3-bladed razors. Got more cuts and nicks than I've ever had shaving!

I think the swollen feet, might be getting worse instead of better now. Oh, heck!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hand-washed the Shirt

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Visited

Great balls of Fire!

More bleeding again, Harold's Haemorrhoids this time. Applying the Germoloids ointment was a relieving pleasure!

The evacuation was, well-messy. Tsk!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Morning Carer Arrived

It was Sobia. Nearly gave me a heart attack, she did. Hahaha! I was on the computer nose to the screen... As she crept up right behind me, and in a loud voice, said something like, "Are you alright!" Which I wasn't! She returned to a whispering mode for the rest of the visit. So it was guesswork. It seems I'm now out of Codeine tablets altogether!

Not much of a communicator, so no laughs or nattering was permitted.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I Am Seriously Worried

About the prescription situation again, running out of Codeine tablets? Getting no help from anyone in ringing the chemist and Doctors to book my flu jab.

But since the visit of the declutterers, I cannot find the folder with the telephone numbers in it? I need help! The farcical situation with having no IRN Warfarin blood tests for months now needs someone to ring them for me to find out what's going on.

Carer Jill would have helped me.

I rang Warden Deana to get a number for Natalie, in charge of the Carers on site.

But the number is not available. I could ring their contact number, but get their head office with the snotty bloke, and have to explain everything in detail to him. He gets irritated with my stuttering. And probably hates his job and me as well. Deana said she'd ring Natalie for me and ask her to contact me.

The pain from having no Codeines this morning has come at the wrong time for me. The feet are swelling up again, giving me pain.

Arthur Itis has kicked off. Phorpain on its own is not strong enough.

Anne Gyna is just beginning to stab at me as I write this. Not to mention the toothache!

I do need the appointment making!

I do need the prescriptions sorting out!

I desperately need help with the INR Warfarin Anti-Coagulation DVT people being contacted to find out why no blood tests for months?

I'm in pain, more than usual, and not a very happy laddie!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hoping To Hear From Natalie

And that she can help me out - A busy gal, I know, but I am suffering!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Bacon Sarnie Making

But didn't get far with it. I nearly got the streaky bacon on the microwave wotsit...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Natalie Came in

Very patient with me and kind about things. Natalie listened to all my problems with the Warfarin, Prescriptions, Doctors appointment making etc., bless her. Said she would investigate for me. And if the Carrington Pharmacy cannot deliver, she would change it to the 24hr chemist instead. Fair enough with me! Thanks, Natalie ♥

We did a Meridian customer survey. Then off she popped, telling me not to worry. Which is a little like telling a politician to be honest - 'No Chance!' Hehehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Natalie Returned ♥

-----

Natalie had been very busy for me, again. Arranged an INR DVT Warfarin blood test at the Doctors surgery, for Tuesday 5th October @ 09:45hrs, at Sherington Park. I've already gone three months without a blood test - And why didn't someone tell me they were no longer visiting to take blood, and I have to travel to the Doctors surgery for a test that no one had given me a date for anyway? So, it will be about 17 weeks of worrying, before I can get tested... if I live that long, that is.

-----

Natalie also arranged the flu jab for Monday 25th October @ 16:45hrs. In five weeks time!

-----

Natalie had also called the Pharmacy, who say they can deliver, but not this months until Saturday, the only day they deliver. Arranged for a Carer to pick these ones up for me.

Feeling much better now! ♥

Updated the Calendar.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Arrived

It was Helen. She's bought the prescriptions she'd collected for me, bless her.

I remembered to put the new ones, all bar the Codeines, into the Prescription drawer.

Accifaupas

I was having troubles with Neuropathic Pete losing sense of touch and shaking a bit, and dropped the bag of prescription medications on the floor - The heavy bottle of Peptac his my little toe on the left foot. Yey amazingly there was no bruise or marks came up on it? This is a photo I took of it after Helen had left?

The bloating was still present, and making walking difficult. Judging by this snao, the Peptac may have bounced onto the top of the right foot?Hey-Ho! The odd almost round markings that were don't he right foot, had disappeared completely now?

Odd, or what?

Helen got the medications sorted for me, I dropped the bottle cap, and missed my mouth with one of the tablets?

It's going bonkers tonight?.

I thanked the gal, and offered her a choice of plonk or nibble. She wisely chose the plonk. Hahaha! ♥ I asked her if she'd take the two small bags of waste to the chute for me on her way out, she kindly obliged me. ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Checked the Fridge

I was low on milk, and desperate for bread, so I made an Iceland order. Iordered some Skinny Whips, and Cadburys Mini Rolls, Cadbury Twirl Chocolate Bars, Crawford's Custard Creams 300g, all individually wrapped, to use as Carers and Wardens nibbles. Ready Baked Pork Sausages, Vale of Mowbray 4 Mini Pork & Pickle Pies, Mini Babybel Original Cheese Snacks 6 x 20g on offer, for Josies Sunday meal tray. Cravendale Filtered Fresh Whole Milk. Solved the bread shortage, by ordering a Warburtons Soft Round Milk Roll, Thins Soft Brown Sliced, and a Warburtons 6 Soft Sliced Wholemeal Rolls. Of course, I'm not anticipating having them all delivered. I also got some more TidyZ 100 X-tra .15l, Strong Tie Handles Pedal Bin Liners.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Demand Answered!

Schpugglebogs, was this a messy, over-pungeant affair!

Decided to wash the shirt in the sink.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The New Shirt Washed

Washed the shirt I'd been wearing. And I could not believe the muck that came out of it? I'n only put it on late as well, about eight hours or so ago, where did it all come from?

Twit!

Realised then, that with it being a new cheapo shirt, it was the colour coming out that had me fooled. Oh, I did fell a nitwit!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back to the Computer - Accifauxpa!

As I approached the swivel chair to get seated, I trod on something small, but rock hard!

Astounding! I used the picker-upperer to retrieve... the pain-giver, a pod pea!

Oh, the agony! Hehehe! I took it in the kitchen to take as good aphoto of it as could manage. Used the Canon, on Macro, assuming that was theright thing to do to get a close-up shot, well two photos actually.

But, as usual, I got sidetracked so easily, when I saw some smoke through the kitchen window. Took a snap of that first.

I wonder what the white dashes in the frame were caused by? Beats me? Back to the pea, and its been months since I had any fresh pod peas in the place...

The escaped earlier, culprit!

Photo to show size of the escapee.

The most amazing thing; I dropped the pea, and could I find it again? No!

It may be an old pea,

But as you can see,

Again it's escaped from me!

Fulfilling its desire to be free...

I'll tread shoeless on it again, I decree!

Hehehe!

Up All Night!

THURSDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2021

Nodded of at 03:30hrs. 04:25hrs: I woke in pain with Colin Cramps enjoying his applicationing of absolute unbearable pain in both of my legs! Naturally, it didn't bother me.

I stumbled out of the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, nauseously beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety, difficile, crumb-covered, tatty recliner. Caught my balance, had a weak unwilling wee-wee, and decided to get the Health Checks done, as the hopes of getting back to sleep suffered, with the continuing attention of Colin Cramps!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

So, I Got The Health Checks Done

With some good results too!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

06:30hrs: Fell Asleep Again

06:40hrs; had to go for a wee-wee. The end of any chances of any more kipping now! Weak, unwilling and sprinkly!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

End Car Park Check

Black and White Minstrel show in the park this morning. The neatly parked (Haha!) red van seems to be claiming this spot for himself to park badly into?
Trapped my arm while withdrawing it from the gap. I'm so glad this didn't happen to one of the overcharging, bullyings, harassing, vetoed by Nottingham City Care as suitable to work for disabled, elderly people, declutterers and cleaners who charged me £345 for doing neither correctly. Also causing me injury via having a tumble because they had left the kitchen floor soaking wet and slippery; they had sodded off after being paid in cash as they demanded...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sorting Kitchen Cupboard

 WHOOPSIEDANGLEPLOP!

If it had not been for my changing my mind so often, taking out the things to rearrange, and getting them back in - and still not happy with the layout. Then, the shelf with the new payout was completed. I'd done the job in an hour or so... and I shouldn't have been feeling so pretty darned smug about it...

The shelf collapsed, leaving a right dirty great mess to be cleaned up, and me with a bruised toe that a bottle had fallen on!

I abandoned my efforts, threw the stuff back in the cupboard, swore quietly but profusely,  passed wind, and made a brew of Glengettie tea while sulking!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Amazon Shopper Cameth

He was soon up at the door. Dropped the bag in the door sill and was off like a shot... I think he was on a promise?

I thought I made a nifty lob of getting the parcels in a line in the hallway. Then wondered why I'd bothered doing that?

There will be a reason, but...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

To The Kitchenette

Got them into the kitchen, and the fodder was stored away safely, and injury-free too! A welcome rarity there! I was also a smidgeon proud when I remembered resisting getting some fresh cream French Horn cakes when ordering, Oh, Yes!

How I managed to order the jam-filled doughnuts is a mystery to me. I had them with a mug of 99 tea.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Accifauxpas!

More cleaning up after the £345 Decluttering and Cleaning men. I was struggling to reach between the cooker and the cabinet to retrieve a dropped scouring pad and...

Oh, dearie me: I'm getting myself going again. Hehehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Getting Ultra Confused Now

I honestly wasn't sure who had been and who not, what time of the day it was, morning or evening? What I was doing before my rant. What I was supposed to be doing... I decided to get something to eat and sit for a while to recover. Sleep I may discover?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

New Microwave Utilised!

I did a reasonable job with the meal.

A simple meal, for a simpleton. It went down well, despite the drooping eyelids. It didn't take long for me to drop of into the land of Sweet Morpheous. I even recall a bit of a dream I had. I was in an office block running around being chased by a gang or declutterers and cleaners... Hehehe! I made that up! Sorry.

I was floating in the sky, birdlike, but without any flapping of wings or arms; it was incredibly mitigatory, despite my being puzzled as I soared, as to how I could be floating like this?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I stirred into Imitation Life

As I was grappling with Metal Mickey, to heave my elephantine bellied flobby-body up onto my feet, the evening carer crept cunningly up behind me - The poor thing was in a right state, bless her. Once again, some carer had failed to turn up for work, and she had endless extra calls to do, so not much time for a chinwag this time. I managed to drop a couple of funnies and an imitation in for her. I think she was a small iota happier when she left me. I'd given her a choice of drinkies and a packet of cream biscuits to nibble. She let me take a quick photograph of her.

Oh, it was Helen who did me.

Update Photo - End Car Park

Just for the devil of it!

By gum, I know how to have fun!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

On The Computer

Grafting away and getting slower and more confused all the time.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Evening Suddenly Darkened

I'd put the Canon camera on to charge, so I used my Kodak to take these pictures of what I thought was an amazing vista of clouds on view from the balcony.

An ever-changing view, as the sun was blocked and unblocked.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationing Time

The pins and patellas were looking and now feeling a lot better than this morning? Why? Pass!

I was still having trouble finding things needed. The decluttering and cleaning failure blokes had hidden stuff so effectively. I had to try and get to the box of things they'd effectively hidden behind the wheelie-trays. Stuff in that box from the kitchen, front room and spare room?

But I had no luck with my hopes of finding the two full bottles of Comfort liquid that I told them not to take. Huh!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Thompsons Punjana Time

Got some potatoes ready to make the microwave-mini-meal later on and made a brew of Thompsons tea.

Continued Updating the Blog

It was slow work, with my confusion and weariness getting worse. It's well gone midnight already. I can't help but fear that the confusion when I get to sleep and even wake up will be worse than ever in the morning. Updating took me an hour or two to do. Ah, well!

Tuesday 3rd August 2021: Photographicalisations, and maybe the odd ode, that might be told?

♥ Oh, yes, I love this! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

TUESDAY 3rd AUGUST 2021

05:00hrs: I woke in a quite spritely mood and mode... well, no, I didn't, sorry about that. But after yesterdays daymare of disasters, I did stir back into imitation life, a lot less depressed than I thought I would be... I think I got that sentence around my neck somewhere and how. Rose and took a wearingly weak, weeping-like, wee-wee.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutioning & Medications

The intricacies of aged ablutioning! Those who claim they will never die, 'I will live forever...' As a reality check of what some old folks have to go through each morning and evening. After the Carers have called to give one's medication because they got in a mess taking so many, thanks to Vascular Dementia. The following details I publish to aid and warn these Whippersnappers.

I made for the wet room first, as I needed a damned good shave and stand-up wash. It was far too early to use the shower. (The nasty flood and Whoopsiedangleplop yesterday, when I left the tap running and returned to a fine mess that needed cleaning up and sorting out and obviously had no hot water to use for a shave or wash). I started with doing the teeth, using the prescription paste.

Ah, something else to forget as well. I must get help from someone to phone the dentist to ask how I go about getting some more of the Colgate® Duraphat® toothpaste on prescription; I've only one tiny 51g tube left to use now. There was only one dropsy of the toothbrush, as well! Yes!

Shaving next: Naturally, with over a days growth of beard, I had a few cuts here and there, but nothing of a serious nature; the bleeding soon stopped with a splash of aftershave and gritted teeth. Hehe!

Washed and rinsed, dried off, and started the medicalisationings of various ailments.

Starting with the worst, most painful area, Little Inchies bleeding fungal lesion.

After this applicationing, the pain got worse! But I half expected it, with not doing any last night, due to loss of hot water from the Accifauxpa.

Moved on to ointmentating Harold's Haemorrhoids. Instant easing of the pain! This job was, and is, the most pleasurable of all the daily treatments. Grand!

.

Phorpain® gelled Arthur Itis's knees and Cartilage Cathy. Had a good rubbing in.

Move on to Germolene® old op scars on the belly.

Put the olive oil in the ear-holes.

Somehow, I managed to do the chloramphenicol eye drops for Saccades Sandra. I did pretty well today. I reckon about 30% of the drops got into the eye. Tsk! The 70%, as usual, ended up running down the cheek, discolouring the moustache on its way around the lips and into my mouth.

Did nasal declogging with Sterimar® and used some Evolve® eye drops to make up for the lost ones earlier. Well, I inadvertently drank.

I got my jewellery back on... Haha!

Health Checks Completed

Great Results Again! I like this!

Belated First Brew of the Day

A mug of Glengettie made, potatoes put in the crockpot for later one.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Rushed to the Porcelain Throne

But I had a heck of a wait for the evacuation to start moving. No amount of enforced encouragement helped! So, I got the crossword book out, relaxed and waited...

Trying to do the crossword, whistling, picking my nose, singing quietly to myself, and waited...

I got a few solutions. I involuntarily farted, and the action started, and things flowed, and it was not half-hearted, soon all that was going to had departed. Dang, messy with it, though!

Cunningly, Constipation Conrad had passed a Trotsky Terence-like torpedo. Crafty that!

Took some cleaning up all the same.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Took Some Loosener Med's

I don't want another session like that one!

Carer Julie Arrived

The gal seemed a smidge, almost nervous in a way? I checked that I had some trousers on - yep, they were. Hehehe! She soon sorted me out with the medications and remembered to ask the questions about what I'd taken earlier.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Made an order with Amazon

Not As Good As Sainsbury's - Not yet!

A least through Amazon, as opposed to using Morrison's own site to order, I have the option to list items as 'Do Not Substitute'. Then, of course, there are times when the Amazon delivery shopper will leave the bags downstairs in the lobby. And piss off! Often they get the wrong item as was wanted as well.

I recall one bloke, who seemed not to speak English, left all six bags in the outer lobby, and shot off! I had a most painful two hours getting them up to the flat. While I was on the way up or back down from the apartment, someone opened a bag and nicked my cream cakes!

When I started sorting the bags, a bottle of Worcester Sauce wanted was a packet of Chestnuts? And the bottle of spring water was a Lucozade? I've depressed myself now!

We'll see. It's ordered for tomorrow, 08:00 > 10:00hrs. I've got a nervous uneasiness about this delivery... Oh, Dear, my EQ just laughed!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Herberts Rattling Away

Sounds like he's got an old printing press going?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Social Services Called

It was Neelah. The lady dealing with the decluttering company asked whether I want to go ahead. I asked questions as Valerie gave me to ask, but the subject kept changing and losing my thread and grip on the conversation.

I made notes as she spoke to put in the calendar. Provisionally it was booked for Monday 30th August. It gives me time to get the valuables collated together before the so-called expert arrives to do what he wants with my property.

I asked how I can pay the £335 bill, as the card will not run up that high? Neelah said she would phone John and find out how to pay the fee. I thanked her and went out on the balcony to ponder and muse over the events... and have a look at the scenery on offer. I took this photo.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Neelah Rang Back

The money has to be cash! The date was changed to Tuesday 31 August at 09:00hrs. I had a look at the calendar and changed it.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

It's Feeling Cold?

Brrr! I'll shut the balcony door! That's better!

v

Had a go at Some Shredding

Not a Lot!

But every little helps... as someone must have said before Tesco used it. Have you noticed that companies, Tesco, Insurance and Food Delivery adverts, are finding new slogans that say absolutely nothing? 'We've got this!",

There have been a few good ones, though. Reassuringly expensive, The appliance of science, Every Little Helps, Exceedingly Good Cakes, Loves the jobs you hate, Full of Eastern Promise! Your Flexible Friend, Put a tiger in your tank, For hands that do dishes can feel as soft as your face... Can you remember the products they were trying to sell? Hehehe!

Getting Hungry Now!

So, I made a meal of sorts.

Nice. 705/10 Flavour rating.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Arrived

Nice gal, but I can't remember her name. This is so maddening! However, I believe it might have been Jill, Julie, Eliska, Pamela,  Samantha, Carole. Elena, Ilia, Helena, Katsia, Julia, or Kara. Or maybe not? She got the medications sorted, offered to take some stuff down for the table, and took two bags for the waste chute. Bless her! ♥ Thanks, Gal, very kind of you.

A Few Thoughts In Ode

Not been much today that I could call glam,

Oh, I'm fibbing, of course, I am,

Valerie came to see me, causing this epigram,

But work called her, she had to scram,

Then I felt as if I was a hologram,

My Thought Storms were all flimflam,

Have I taken my Oxazepam?

I think I'll have some bread and jam?

I took some CBD, just one milligram,

My Throne visit was as tight as a clam!

Tried the crossword, but damn...

A torpedo came out with a wham!

Veins on my leg looking like a diagram,

Emails came in, mostly spam,

I must stop, the brains in Bedlam!

 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening all!
