SATURDAY 4th SEPTEMBER 2021
06:45hrs: I circumspectly returned to semi-wakefulness. Gathered what wits were available to me, and the Thought Storms vented with a sickening gusto! Hey-Ho!
What time and day is it, morning or afternoon? Why are there biscuit crumbs on your belly? Is the Carer due? Why do you not want a wee-wee? Why is the TV on? It's looking light; You should get up and sort things out... Ah, Shaddup!
The last thought that hit me was indeed a rarity of late; Do you realise that you have had nine hours kipping?
Good heavens, I had, too!
I rose from the c1968 recliner up onto my tootsies without too much hassle, well, the knees from the declutter's caused Accifauxpa were stinging still, but nowt else was hassling me.

A VAGUENESS LINGERED
I took some Paracetamol, Phorpained the knees and lower back, and took a good guzzle of gregariously innocuous Peptac to counter Duodenal Donald. He was just kicking off with a few stabs of pain.
Put some Hemp oil under the tongue.
Kitchenette Window Shots
I took these three photographicalisations. First to the right, showing my balcony and the gravel footpath I can no longer manage to climb (sad, that!), to the North.
Then, an update on the new car park at the dead-end of Chestnut Walk. Then the car park down below, opposite Woodthorpe Court on Chestnut Walk. As I was putting the camera away, I espied some smoke coming up near the back of some gardens...

Porcelain Throne Visited
Eurgh! Messy! But no bleeding, and despite the size of the evacuation, the flush worked the first time. So, not so bad!
The plates and legs looked much calmer than yesterday too! 👍

The Morning Carer Walked In
Today, it being a Saturday... yes, that right, I've just checked on the calendar, it was the young part-time Carer Craig, who came to see to me. A student, I believe. He is good at the job, no doubt about that; When he gave me the medications to take, he remembered from his last visit to put them in a pot lid, as it is easier for me. In case I get Nicodemus's Neurotetransmitters failing and start shaking, or even giving an involuntary Hitler salute or two! Good bloke!
Craig also noticed that I'd dropped one of the tablets (Codeine) and retrieved it for me after a two-man search we shared. Hehehe!
We had a short natter after he'd sorted me. I gave him some coin-cloths and a packet of bikkies for his bother, by way of thanks for his help.

Blogger Comments Answered
My two fans, Tim and Billum, had taken the bother to comment, bless them! I replied in kind, two good blokes.

Herbert Kicks Off
Tap, tap, clunk. Then a noisy, annoying long session of drilling. The tap-tapping and banging went on and off all day, so I need not mention it again in detail; I'll just type Herbert, you'll know.

Updated Inchies Day
It took me many hours, with being behind last night and not really up to concentrating on the job, then, and I got down for last nights much-needed sleep! Got the email link sent. Posted it off to Blogger. And caught up on the TFZer and Winwood Heights Facebooking pages.

Far too Many Mugs Of Tea!
I just could not help drinking so much. A first like I've not known before had grabbed a hold on me?

Started This Diary
It was well into the afternoon by the time I'd got around to creating this post. And nearing tea-time before I got as far as to here! I just can't get caught up!

Ablutionalisationing!
Another messy affair, for various reasons, the most frustrating was trying to find the things hidden so well by the declutterers - some things have never been seen since they left the flat! But everything that had been started, or was almost empty, have been left for me - all, but all the new, unopened stuff had disappeared.
Back to the Ablutioning
Doing the teeth, and shaving, were bloodless. Oh, Yes!
But, I ended up afterwards with an unaccountable tiny round shaped cut on my chest and some horrible red welts? These will have to remain a mystery.
No doubt, all a part of the "Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court"; the ghosts, wraiths, spectres, cacodemons, apparitions and other grotesqueries that seem to haunt the hallways and lobbies, apartments, searching for Inchie, to create ambiguities, abstrucities, perplexities, misfortunes and botherations, to scare, worry and confuse the hell out of me!
However, the plates were looking far better, and were the knees too!
I even had Herbert accompanying me. A mixture of rat-a-tat-tat with the od clunk thrown in. Didn't last long.

Back on The Computer
Had a quick look at the YourArea local news-rag email. Nowt worth bothering over, but got the Covid.
Covid is still about, though.

Evening Carer Awaited
They are not late, but sometimes one can manage to call earlier, and that's a blessing. Anyway, I now smell all nice for whoever it is that might come.

I Faffed about making changes to colour pallets but failed miserably to remember why I went on it in the first place.

You would have had crispy critter sausages had you fallowed Valerie's interpretation. You ended up with a right decent looking meal. And you took care of it.
ReplyDeleteI think you be right there, Tim. May have had a microwave explosion!
DeleteThem that bangers are tasty! I have more in stock, Hehehe!
Quite a few worthy tasks accomplished with aplomb, yer getting much done, mate. I think that the BP results are driving betterer health from bald pate to plates. They should put a life at your once oft travelled path that ends at the copse of wood, a very attractive set of vantage points methinks. I quite enjoy your graphicals on Prince Andrew. Bad habits in youth come back to bite you when you are found in inappropriate behavior with today's youth. Peoples never seems to learn, does they — at least I learns betterer grammar mistakes (is that a badge of honor?)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words regarding kind comments. We're here to help! I hope that the disorganisation team stops back to make a few things right. Dang them swines.
Herbert is now appearing as a fearsome 7-letter word. The name is enough to bring a clang to yer head.
Every so often there comes a useful time to cancel an ode or two and to express them on another day when the thoughts are fresh and keen.
Happy noshing wishes we you and all who grace your door and email address. :-)
I like how that full plate turned so rapidly into an entirely clean and empty one. Your recipes are good for your BP health is one of my opines today.
Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteI feeleth thy thoughts art of a c'rtain value and truthfulness, sir. Gave me a tickle anyway! Hahaha!
It's actually written into law, that any direct member(?) of a ruling monarch, cannot be taken to court nor charged with any felony! Mmm?
I again ended up having six microwave sausages tonight (Sun). I've got the tale and photos posted in the blog - A Whoopsiedangleplop (Caused through memory loss) followed swiftly by another Accifauxpas (burnt finger)? Sounds exciting don't it?
I've may try an Ode to my BP? Mind you, if it dosen't flow freely, I wont.
TTFN Sir, love to HRH, the family and furries.♥
