I wonder if these two elderly 'criminals' charged, were perhaps suffering with or from, dementia or Alzheimer's Disease? Not that they shouldn’t have been stopped, and the poor dogs saved. I’m so happy that they have all been found new permanent homes. Well done the NSPCA!
This snippet made me stop and think a while. With how I am, and getting steadily worse, I don’t think, even if it were allowed, I could even cope with looking after one cat nowadays. I found myself with a sense of empathy with the old couple. Rightly or wrongly.
