“When we talk to God, we’re praying,

When God talks to us, we’re schizophrenic!”

Local News - Gotten Himmel

Increase in Coronavirus cases!

Local lockdowns not ruled out as the new Indian coronavirus variant continues to spread in Nottinghamshire.

I got Josie's Sunday dinner served up!

Thoughts in Ode

We wrinklies, often have thinkies,

That we forget them, most of the time,

As we struggle to move our pinkies,

Can't open our can of gin & lime,

And ponder on life's absurdities,

Errant is the mind as usual, but not fine,

Our realities are not actualities,

Bed before nine, or we pine,

For we have lost our veracities,

Comprehension went, we're no longer adulterine,

Faith fails, and we turn into zombies,

Ranitidine, Brompheniramine and Cimetidine...

ensures for sex, we become abortees!

Then Doctors put us on Trifluoperazine,

Nae bother though; we take it with mulled wine!

Blotchy Legs again!

Take care, and keep safe folks!

  1. Wowsers, a cornucopia of wondrous graphic universes for every whim that the mind may concoct.
Salt, Beef, Bagels, and Rye appear from out of nowhere, then they move over for another set of dreams.
And I like the ode most particular, kind Sir. The essential absurdities of our time, that is where our present predicament tries to make sense of it all. We have experienced a marked improvement in the Covidish, Brianish side of life. Not having to wear a mask and finding out that the CDC just wanted to play it safe by announcing early that as many as 10% of the victims could fall to the fell infection when out of doors. So we all hibernate indoors for more than a year. It turns out that the percentages was actually somewhat less than 0.1% when you venture out of doors. Touching surfaces is safe, shaking hands is handy, and shaking our heads is the natural reaction. In these parts, most people still wear a mask. You can't be certain that getting vaccinated makes all things right and proper in the world. Strange stuff, are it not, kind cocker? It doth appear that you have survived another 24 hours of Sunday. Good on yer then.
A multifarious Munday to yer too!

  2. I love the thoughts of Ode. The quote about being schizoid when God talks to us is spot on. That is an excellent set of graphicalizations, and a great job on Josie's meal.
