FRIDAY 17th SEPTEMBER 2021

Woke up, time unknown. But it was some silly early morning time. The Computer had been left in sleep mode, so I got the Health Checks done... No wee-wee required? Mmm?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Bloated Feet Check

The water retention feet seemed about the same as yesterday, but the toes had filled up more. Waking was painful, no worse than yesterday, mind you.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hand Washing

Got two shirts laundered, rinsed, rung-out and hung up to drip dry.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Made a Brew-Carer Came

T'was Valerie this morning. The gal looked a little harassed, bless her, she worries, and it is my given mission, each time she calls, to have her leaving in a lighter mood, if not contented.

Something is bothering her. She got the medications sorted but not wanting to chinwag much. My EQ knew that. I greeted her enthusiastically.

She didn't stay long at all; she wasn't grumpy, or anything like Val never is, but, as I say, she seemed as if someone or thing had ruffled her feathers a touch. This will not change my liking Val'.

When she left, she did not offer to take the made-up bags to the chute room for me; this was unusual for Valerie. I hope it isn't something I said? Bless her.

I remain fidimplicitary towards Valerie. She does try so hard to please. ♥

Come think of it, she was a fair bit late arriving. I bet that was what might have been bothering her? ♥

What's going on, I thought.

Got The Nosh Prepped

WHOOPSIEDANGLEPLOP!

I've done it again! What a Plonker!

VVD (Vascula Dementia Dorothy) had fooled me once more into thinking it was the wrong day. Two days out, this time! I felt for some unknown reason that it was Sunday! Is there no hope for me?

I ruddy-well went a stage further before I realised about my 'Fop-Doodle', stroke Whoopsiedangleplop!

Now, what do I do with all this unneeded food I've just spent over an hour in getting ready to take to Josie - on Sunday!

I've ordered a ready-made meal to arrive today for me, as well!

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe quoted:

The world is so full of simpletons and madmen that one need not seek them in a madhouse, but your own dwellings?

You were spot on there, Johann, mate!

Consulted My Note Pad...

It was a very sparse amount of scribbled reminders. Even some of them were unreadable, Humph! I made a brew of Glengettie in the tiny mug. Made a start on updating last nights notes, then made a start on this blog, at long last!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hailed To The Porcelain Throne!

The evacuation styles are ever-changing, mutable, and vacillating. Day to day, sometimes even within a day; From one extreme to another!

Everything flowed without painful pushing being needed. A massive set of torpedos smoothly escaped. Only a speck or two of bleeding! Genuinely unique, but after two days of Constipation Conrad in control, Trotsky Terence was ahead of the game this morning.

I'd prefer not to mention the medicating today; it wasn't pleasant!

Bags To The Chute-Room

No Accifauxpas!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Amazon Morrison Order

I hear a knocking and neighbour... Clump! I've forgotten his name now! No, got it, Malcolm. What about him? Oh, yes, he was kindly taking the parcels from the Amazon/Morrison Shopper. And placed them in the Hallway for me. Why I didn't hear the intercom or door chime, I don't know? I thanked Malcolm, and I got the bags into the kitchen.

Seem to have a lot of bags today?

Fresh stuff in the fridge.

Lasagne & Bread in the freezer.

Potatoes in their new home under the draining board.

Cleaners away, spring waters, and Orange juice, too.

To The Chute Room Again

I'd made a few waste bags up in sorting out the delivery. A lot of things substituted, many items cut down to one of, again this week. Off with the box...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

ACCIFAUXPAS!

On my way back to the flat, I stubbed one of the tender, fluid-filled toes on the door frame! Grumblecronkackers!

Of course, I took it all in stride and laughed it off immediately.

The agony was of no concern to a man of my calibre... Oh, no! Reads quite well that lie, doesn't it?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tried to get on WP Reader

Hope I can remember how I did it the other day...

Blimey, I got on!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationing Session!

I'll be back in a while.

I'm Back!

A piece of cake! A doddle! Manifestly cushy!

And; Totally Accifauxpas-Free, Whoopsiedangleplop-Free, and Toe-Stubbing-Free! With a total of; you may find this hard to believe (I do, and I was there!), Only Three Dropsies!!!

To round off the fantastic session, after the shower, the feet were looking and feeling much betterer!

Smug-Mode-Adopted!

Awaiting The Evening Carer

Started a template for tomorrow.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Flipping Heck, Fatigue Fastly Fell!

As I was making the meal, my feet started stinging, and I was suddenly no longer up to doing much at all. Wearied! I made the meal and decided to get down with the legs up to ease the stinging. Sort of flopping down in the chair to eat.

The ready-made beef and black bean meal, with some potatoes, and bits from the stew made on a wrong day for Josie, were added. Eight minutes in the microwave, 4m. then stir and 4m. more.

It didn't look much but tasted alright. A flavour rating of 7/10.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Washed the pots - and Zzz!

I was woken up by a very late evening Carer Julie (not her fault). Who broke into sympathy mode when she saw me sat there with what looked like two Belisha beacons at the end of my raised legs. Hehehe! Soon got the medications sorted, and I think we spoke about the prescription, but I'm not sure.

On her leaving, I insisted she take a can of the new treat drink called Woo-Woo.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I lay there, feeling Shattered

But I could sense the swollen feet were getting less painful and red. They might be at their peak. I think they will start to ease off now.

Just an EQ inspired thought.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I have to fend off the women, left and right,

'Cause my body is such a magnificent sight,

Girls love to meet me in the moonlight,

My masculine body is another highlight,

They tease me gently in the starlight,

In romancing, I have no kryptonite,

Of course, I'm lying again... alright!

 THURSDAY 16th SEPTEMBER 2021

Last Nights Sunset

Bootifull!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

06:40hrs: Woke and awaited the brain to follow my example. I didn't, so I carried on, on my own. Hehe! Had a chat with Koala and Teddy, hoping no Carer would come in and catch me. Haha!

Rising to my feet, painfully, and I got a bit of a surprise-and-a-half.

The feet had bloated to a stage where walking was difficult, dangerous and hurt a smidgeon. Keeping my balance was nigh-on impossible at first. I was staggering, struggling to maintain control.

I've had this before when it was caused by water retention. It could be that again, but I've been wee-weeing yesterday, a lot stronger? I had a walk up and down the corridor, and things walking-wise were eased after that.

But I was aware of the need to be careful while the problem remained and take things steady. No sudden getting up, rushing or... Hahaha! Rushing? Me? Hehehe! I do write some unintentional, humorous garbage, don't I!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The SYS is working its way back up very slowly. 141, 130, 134 and today, 143. But the NHS Assessment came back with a good result all the same when used with the DIA. Nicely in the lower red, almost in the amber! So, I'm well-pleased with these.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Pottering Around Again!

I kicked off on now usual pottering around doing unrelated and not time-critical odd jobs. Starting with the washing of the new shirt for the second time. Getting the floor and myself wet in the process.

Ten made some mini food-waste bags up and put them on the box in the hallway, near the door.

Got the potatoes into the crock-pot on a low setting.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Morning Carer Arrived

The carer was Sobia Naheed, I think. She's a new starter, a student, I guess. Very pretty. Of the no-nonsense mould.

Efficient at the job, though. Just not interested in a chinwag with an old-timer like what I am, Hehe! I think that her mixing with the lower classes is helping her with whatever university or college course the gal is taking. Suits me though, she's certainly got me to cut back on the waffling while she's here. Hahaha!

Porcelain Throne Activity

With bloated Feet Assessment

After two days of PorcelainThrone activity of the Trotsky Terence type, almost liquid nature, it has returned to the control of Constipation Conrad style!

Stubbornly refusing to start any movement, despite my innards telling me it's coming, it didn't! So, I had a go at the crossword puzzle book, grid 101.

I absolutely failed to get a single solution! So, still no activity from the rear end, I moved on to puzzle 102.

Ah, this one was better for me. I did manage a few answers in this one. Then, just as I was getting on so well with crossword...

The slow, grinding, raw, throbbing event began. It grounded out.

But it needed assistance when it stopped of its own accord part-way through. It does that sometimes?

Several monumentally demanding pushes brought the session to a close. Gawd, that was one of the most prolonged and complicated evacuations I've ever suffered!

Inconceivably, there was no bleeding whatsoever? But I was still glad it had ended. Then had a decker at the legs and feet with the Canon.

The knees and legs looked okay to me.

T'was the feet and toes that were the problem this morning still. Walking continued to be a problem.

I got dressed without any issues, and as I turned to leave the wet room... Would you believe it? I found the missing cotton-thin dressing gown! I've been looking for this for some days now.

As soon as I spotted the dressing gown, it was hanging at the back of the shower curtain rail. I remembered putting it there to dry after I'd washed it a couple of days ago now. Ah, well!

I took a long wee-wee. Made a brew of Thompsons Punjana. Then went to the Blogger comments.

Feet Ankles

Might be looking less swollen? It could, of course, just be me seeing wrong; saccades has kicked off again.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

CorelDrawing Again

Slow work, I had to stop; Saccades was too bad for me to concentrate. The persistent noise isn't helping. Hell, he's off again!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tap-Tap-Tap-clunk, bang-Tap-Tap...

All the time now, non-stop. Herbert's got a big job on, I suppose? I'll stop recording my  equanimous, unclubbable, stand-offish, unapproachable, haughty, neighbour's noises, but if they do stop, (Hahahahaha!) I might mention it.

What a Git!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

CBD Time

I'll take an extra painkiller now; the noise had given me a headache. I hope I don't meet the scumbag if I go out... it will not be pleasant if I do! To say the least.

He's still belting away up there.

Swine!

Got Some Nosh

I had planned to show a photo of this rather tasty beef & gravy, potatoes and peas made up meal - but I left the SD card in the computer and took this non-existent photograph and two of evening skies, which didn't save, of course.

I did laugh about it! Well, no, I didn't. Sorry about that fib. Cragnangles!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Arrived

It was Julia, the American gal. Julia did her best to explain the prescription shortages and what she was doing to make it right. She took her time and said that the Codeines would run out by Monday. Which will, I think, mean she will leave notes for Meridian to sort out - they are infamous for failing to do so and indeed have let me down several times already! But I rear I got a smidge confused, and am not sure anymore. She did say she was going on holiday, though. A grand lass, I like her so much. Walked, weel hobbled with her to the door. She took the waste bags to the chute for me as she departed. ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Jill ♥, it was who left a message telling them I needed a reminder of the Doctors appointment for the first memory test. Meridian failed to do so.

The second one, I was assured I would be reminded by the morning carer on the rearranged day. Again, no reminder was given. I was told the carer the third time, and an email would be sent to remind me of the third appointment - neither matured! As pure luck would have it, Jill ♥ called a day before and sent a reminder email to me on her own account. ♥

Then for two Saturdays, no Morning Carer arrived. The first time, I forgot all about no carer calling, and I missed all my morning medications.

The second time, I rang the number on the Meridian folder, and I could hardly understand what the chap was saying. But I did catch his impatient mannerisms when I failed to tell him I was in Nottingham, and each asking him to repeat what he said really pissed him off. However, someone came out to me, six hours late. Which meant I dosed up on the evening tablets six hours early... I don't think it did me any good that, if I recall rightly.

So, my confidence in the prescription medications being fetched for me, and someone to ring the Doctors to make an appointment for the flu jab, my hopes of avoiding the worry and panic, are not at all high. It all goes to prevent any contentment from sneaking into my life!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Late Evening

Things are unattainable, like rest and respite,

Cause everything takes much longer, life's a fight,

Can longer do things quickly, try as I might,

To pass wee-wee without pain, the day's highlight!

Trying my best to keep out of the limelight,

Appointments, shopping, just another oversight,

The Lord's Prayer, sometimes I recite,

After losing another memory-blank fight,

I went to buy bleach, came back with a theodolite!

It's such an effort to try to type or write,

And the potatoes I bought were covered in blight!

If I forget to get food in, it's stale bread and Marmite,

The Whoopsiedangleplops and Accifauxpas unite,

To ensure each night is a sleepless twilight,

Well, it certainly was yesternight!

Life's a struggle, a constant fight...

I think I'll have pickled onions tonight!
