SATURDAY 11th SEPTEMBER 2021

02:40hrs: I was rudely awoken by Colin Cramps. As I moved about in failed attempts to ease the pain in the legs, Anne Gyna started to throw her ten-penneth into the mix, Just what I wanted!

Rubbed some Phorpain® gel into the legs and took a good gulp of Pentac.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

UP & AT 'EM!

I battled my way out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, not-working, rickety, incommodious, grotty recliner, and as I stood to delicately catch my balance: The adventitious right leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance kicked off, with a short but brutal flailing performance.

Judging by how far I unintentionally kicked the wastebasket; it bounced off of the cabinet, hit the chair and rebounded into the balcony curtains door; I could potentially be in line for a call up for Nottingham Forest! Hehehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Wee-Weeing Improvement!

I hobbled to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket), and without any delay, the flow started, painlessly, in fact unfeelingly. I got no sense or feeling that I was actually passing water, and an awful was passed. But this is a good thing (I think). The colour was much better, too, which reminded me to do the health checks. So, I did!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Health Checks

The BP was a little improved today. But looking at the log record, there is room for this. The Up & Down SYS beats me! An Ode came into my mind; I wrote it down, it flowed easily.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Most of what I do isn't intentional,

The cock-ups are often unpreventable,

My fault? Yes, partly, it's undeniable,

Rarely are Accifaupas contumelious,

Getting summat right can be delicious,

I always try not to be malicious,

Avoiding anything the slightest bit vicious,

My hopes, all contain contentment wishes,

I want to come across as equanimous,

I tend to feel wimpish and self-conscious,

Cause I'm uneducated and impecunious!

Started On The Template
No tea, and no nibbles, straight on with the job. Yes, this shook me as well! Worked through for about two hours, then went on Facebooking, TFZer and the Winwood Heights sites.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Pondered On The Day

Checked the calendar. The Morrison order is due between 8 - 10:00hrs.

The microwave extras, plate, bacon tray and egg cooker pot are coming today. Last night the email said: Due For Delivery Today by 11:00hrs. This morning: due For Delivery Today by 13:00hrs. The one just received said: Due For Delivery Today by 22:00hrs. Humph! I've ordered some bacon with the Morrison order; I'm looking forward to trying the plastic thingamabob to cook it in the microwave. But fear the things will arrive too late for me to have time for noshing anything - staying awake that long will be something of a problem!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationing!

A stand-up affair, too soon to be using the noisy shower. The alcoholics, druggies and Party going tenants mustn't be disturbed. Only joking! Hahaha!

The session went quickly enough. No... I say No shaving cuts, only three dropsies and not until it came to leaving the room, any other accifauxpas...

Then I had a double-blow. Tsk! I misjudged the distance again and banged my elbow, this time on the door frame... possibly hitting the ulnar nerve (funny bone), cause I sort of jumped a little and stubbed my big toe again! Haha! It's taking a bashing lately.

Which wasn't too bad... yes, it was!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Mug Of Glengettie Tea!

Made a brew and caught up on Facebooking, the TFZer site.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Needed

So, I went to the wet room. (Which, I thought a logical, sensible idea, as that is where the toilet is located, Hehe!)

Whipped the braces off, and the trousers dropped to the floor, got seated, and grabbed the crossword book. I was sort of part-determined to get some more answers in crossword 101.

I got one solution straight away, then the action flowed from the rear-end. Again, painlessly and smoothly, a lot of it too, leaving a worryingly putrid whiff in the air. I used the air-spray freshener.

The pins and plates were aching a bit. It was worst under the soles and toes? Nothing to do with the toe-stubbing.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Morning Carer has not arrived yet?

Ah! of course, it's a Saturday. Always a problem day. On two Saturdays, they have failed to turn up at all. You'd have thought a telephone call or message would have been forthcoming from Meridian to inform me, but none did. Mind you, as long as they come late, it'll do for me. My worry is if they don't, and I get involved with CorelDrawing, I'll forget all about the medications.

But, with my experiences in running security control, I can and do empathise with their problems. People not turning up at the weekend was a bane for me when I was at Sawley Security.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

CorelDraw Graphicalisationing

Getting graphics done is crucial now: I've just used the last one on this post. But the carer may arrive any minute now, so I'll make a brew and dunk some biscuits first while I await the visitation.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hang on, though!

The Amazon Morrison is due now as well? No carer yet; I hope they do not both come at the same time. Oh, dearie me! Still, I made the Glengettie and had two shortcake biscuits with it. Gawd, I live well!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Waiting, CorelDrawing, Waiting

Aha, the Carers have walked in. Natalie and a new gal, which I think I may have seen before... Samantha?

We had a decent nattering session and laugh, and I had a moan about the scum-bullying declutterers. Hehehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Did Some Cleaning in the Kitchenette

Not for long, though; I did get some more waste bags in the box.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Amazon Morrison Shopper Arrived

Decent chap. I gave him a can of G&T in thanks. Left the parcels in the doorway for me to move into the hall.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got the Goods Stored

Some of the betterer stuff on the server trolley above. There was no uncooked smokey bacon, the 6 cans of Lamcello was limited to one can, and two more items were unavailable. I did get the smoked back bacon, potatoes, sugar snap peas, three of the six burgers, milk and bread. Oh, the 3 lemon and 3 plain bottles of Morrison bleach became one of each.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Waste Bags Disposed Of

Off to the chute room with them.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Rang Sister Jane

I wanted to give her the Paid Funeral details, so she knew how to go on when I snuff it. She said she thinks she has all the details needed. We launched into a meandering old people waffle, both of us at times forgetting what we were saying. 'True!'

So, I did. I struggled to get one graphic done, terribly sad, innit?

Fell asleep in the computer chair!

Woke and went out to do a spot of Car Park Monitoring for Billum, of near to Ohio, 10° NNWest of somewhere. Results:

The park was populated by the red transit van...

Then... Some action. A small black car came along, searching for a spot to park in, his/her last option was to use the end car park...

By gum, it's getting exciting!

Amazon Order Arrived

Soon had it inside and opened to check the things and stored them away.

The oven plate fitted. The Eggs cooking thingy seemed straightforward for a ten-year-old to understand (I didn't). The bacon whatsit was easy to grasp. Minutes after storing these away, I wondered, will the bacon thingy fir in the oven? Oh, dear, I had to go and check...

Sod and dangwangles, it's too big!

Evening Care Arrived

It was Valerie. But I could not hear a word she said, and I had to part-guess most of what she said? (Checked later, they hadn't?) I think the ears might have a build-up of wax.

Valerie got the medications sorted and was keen to get off on her rounds. The gal must be busy tonight.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sudden Instant Fatigue Hit Me

This has not happened for a while. No other choice but to stop everything; check the place is safe, and get down in the recliner in search of Sweet Morpheus - which failed miserably, I'm afraid. Sleep eas not interested in me, despite my feeling so tired, with eyes drooping???

I put the TV on, that is sometimes a help, as I fall asleep as soon as the commercials come on... but not tonight! I put the headphones on as usual, with the volume on full, but I could still not hear the speech? It was a horrible time and feeling.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

But I must have nodded off cause I woke up six hours later.

Evening... no, Morning!

Friday 10th September 2021: Inchies Day, and sometimes the odd ode that might get slip in!

♥ Mary & Gerry getting charged up? ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

FRIDAY 10th SEPTEMBER 2021.

I semi-stirred and had a natter with Teddy Ted & Koala Katie.

The Blood-Pressure had gone from in the green yesterday, up into the second-stage Red section! Erm, I'm perplexed!
Of course, with me being such a young, fit, attractive health fanatic as wot I am... Oh, never mind then! Hehe!
I came out of it in an instant, which I usually do, but had no idea why I'd seem to lose myself. I mentioned this once to the doctor; She listened patiently, then said, "Any other problems?" I didn't bother her again!
This car with the probationary 'P' plate was there a few times this week. So, I assume it is a carer or nurse, perhaps?
They were all small bags, so no bother or accifauxpas suffered.
Once the flow began, it was all clean, not messy at all, painless and bloodless!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

03:10hrs: Reality returned, in a fashion, and I noted that the feet were clearer this morning, and no Colin Cramps - Yee-Haa!

I rose to have an even more reluctant than yesterday wee-wee. At least it didn't spray all over the place this time. I think there was more AMD (After-Micturition-Dribbling) than actual wee-wee?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Stripped of the Clothing

And went for a stand-up wash and shaving session, during which I needed three more wee-wees, that combined, might have just filled a coffee cup? Well, nearly!

On the bright side of things, the knees were looking much better today.

The legs had gone back to fat at the top and skinny at the bottom?

However, the ablutioning went exceptionally well for once. In total, only about five dropies, and just one tiny nick shaving, no accifauxpas either, not a single knock, dizzy or banging into anything. Hard to believe, I know, even I was confused.

Tended To The Health Checks

Fingers Crossed

The result? Oh, dearie me!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Started on this blog

But not for long!

Number-cruncher, manipulator, and Virgin Internet destroyer, CEO of Liberty-Global Mike Fries, ensured that.

Down Again! Grrr!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Made a Brew!

I swore a lot, then perambulated my chubby-wobbly body out onto the balcony to see how many cars were parked in the end car park. Not a lot - None!

Not that you can tell by this horrible photo I took. I should have got the Kodak out with it being so dark. Ah, well!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Eventually, Fries, #ucked Up Internet came back on

Pressed On Updating

It took me another three hours to get yesterdays post finalised, checked and sent off to Blogger.

Then, got back on finishing the Facebooking disturbing. The uncaring, Liberty-Global CEO Mike Fries had interrupted with one of his many failures and the Virgin Media internet going done for the 39th time this week! These skills he must have at number-crunching and toying with figures must have impressed his bosses, if he has any, enough to pay the Mammonistic, acquisitive, grasping, materialistic, gluttonous, hoarding, money-grabbing, predatory, rapacious, unscrupulous, cunning, reprehensible Mr Fries, over $22million a year, plus expenses, and no doubt back-handers are thrown in?

Still, it doesn't bother me!

Refilled Spring Water Bottles

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Haze came over me!

No depression or irascibleness, just the vagueness and almost pretty total loss the memory for a while, just a few minutes.

Where was I? Oh, yes, I was standing looking at the recliner, again why I don't know. But I took a photo of it, for some reason or other?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.

A Normality Returned

Carer Valerie rang the buzzer and came in. She was looking less stressed than yesterday, which pleased me.

Val got the medications sorted, as she was doing them, I had a look at the end car park - bejesus, a car had parked!

Valerie was soon off on her rounds but seemed happier, bless her.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Took the Bags to the Chute

I was secretly hoping that Valerie would take them on her way out. Which was cheeky of me - Naughty Inchie!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Duties

Another unwilling to start session. Which suited me cause I did very well starting crossword 101, the best start in a long time. I was almost sad when the torpedo forced its way into the pan. Hahaha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back To Finish Facebooking

Not too easy a job, I'd forgotten which and where I put which photos in the albums. Heck of a job sorting things out!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Finally Got This Post Started

Gone noon, now! After doing a bit of it, I had to go on CorelDraw to make up some graphics; I'm right out of them now!

Evening Carer Sobia

I ate the nosh and put the tray down, and I fell promptly asleep for two hours or so. I was woken by the incoming Carer Sobia, who didn't mess about, no time for a natter, got the medications done professionally, made me farewell and shot off.

I Got On With This Blog

Completed it, checked it so that Blogger could change my formatting, font size alignments etc. Posted it off, set up a template for tomorrow, and didn't bother with Facebooking. I knew $22m a year salaried Libert-Global Virgin Media Internet would go down, as it had done every day for the last eight days when I went on Facebooking, CEO? Phwert!

Wednesday 25th August 2021: Inchies Diary, and sometimes the odd ode, that might be told?

TFZer Lads - Doing what?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

TUESDAY EVENING EVENTS

Thanks, Mr $22m a year, salaried Steve Fries. How do you con people into paying you a fortune and cock-up what was a good Virgin Media when you bought it? No wonder that Liberty-Global is trying to hide the fact that they own it! Fancy that!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

WEDNESDAY 25th AUGUST 2021

06:00hrs: Up like a lark (albeit it, a sickly, poorly, hobbling, featherless, shaking-shoulder ridden, deaf and poorly sighted, confused, lonely, aged lark!) Hahaha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Struggle!

By the time I'd taken the customary wee-wee, the need for the Porcelain Throne had arrived. So, off to the wet room, seated on the Throne, crossword book out, and a long, long wait for the evacuation to progress started. The torpedo fooled me this morning. It began to emerge and stopped in its tracks, putting pressure on the tubes, so to speak. Making it more painful than ever to give things a push, so I just waited for nature to take its course. It was in no rush! Tick-tock, I waited... The progress with the crossword was nilch! Hard to concentrate when you are in agony and fearing the bleeding is bound to come.

I got through the marathon evacuation with accinged girded loins. Pleased and surprised to say, there was no bleeding, but things were rather sore.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationing Actioned

A lot of dropsies, teeth cleaning and shaving. With the threat of a Neuropathic Pete’s adventitious right leg, Schuhplattler drop-something and flail-about dance kicking off. I could feel the struggling nerve-ends. But no, it didn't mature. A naughty nick shaving that took some stopping. Plugged it in the end.

A toe-stubbing when getting the trousers on and the slightest knocks with the elbow on the door leave the wet room. A stand-up affair that went very well indeed.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Health Checks Sorted

Blood Pressure up a smidge into the lower red zone, but that is not unusual. Urine in a high spot. I did note that the calculator had put Sys 147 in the green; a few days ago, it was in the amber, on 146?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sorting Declutter Bits

During this, I realised that I may have left the hot water tap (faucet) running when I left the bloodied cloth to soak.

Limped swiftly to the wet room. All Okay!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

♥ Carer Jillie Arrived ♥

She soon took control (She does that a lot, Hahaha!), and sorted the medications out, and went through the questions for me. Shook took some things down with her for the Winwood Table and even took the waste bags to the chute for me! She's so kind to me! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Began on this Blog...

But only got as far as putting the photos in CorelDraw and saving them to use later. Then remembered what Jill had said; I must get the money for the Declutterers, as they will be here in a few days! So, I closed down the computer and got the things ready. Then set off to Sherwood and the bank to get the money. Making sure I would remember the pin number this time. We'll see about that.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Photographed the end Car Park

Still popular with the red vehicles. The red van driver man has done better today. He's nearly got between the white lines. Hehehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Feeling Perky, I set off

I had a little natter with some residents who were at the bus stop. Then departed on my walk down Winchester Street, into Sherwood. At the end of Chestnut Walk, I turned right at the allotments. I stopped to try out the Canon camera, using the Macro option. You may notice that I have not mentioned this before? That's because it's taken me two years to find out how to engaged Macro-mode! And that was by a fluke when I hit the wrong button! Hahaha! You must laugh, sad as it is. Here are the Macro pictures I took these coming to an end, blackberry bushes.

I think they were okay, but not over impressive or anything special. A bit like me!

As I started to walk down Winchester hill, I snapped another one in Macro - I'm not sure if it helped get a better shot or not? It was of some weeds on the kerbside, forcing up through the concrete or whatever it is.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Onward Down the Incline

As I got to the bottom of the road, I spotted a crowd of people outside the bank across Mansfield Road. Aha, maybe they do not open until 10:00hrs? It could be something to do with rising deaths and new cases of Covid?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

To The Co-op

So, I called in the Co-op in search of some fresh garden peas. Failed! The now customary Escooter was in the way again.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Bank Queue had Grew!

I wished I'd joined in earlier now. Tsk! It appears, as I found out fifteen minutes later, the bank has a bouncer who was asking each customer why they'd come to the bank as they entered. And stopping too many going in. It may be because of the Covid, especially the new strain, of which it is said: Experts warn new Covid-22 virus more deadly than the Delta variant. My turn eventually arrived. I got dagger eyes from the staff when I told them I was here to take money out. Ha! Leaving, I nearly got hit by this uncaring Pavement cyclist! The Git!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

To The Bus Stop Home

Penny and Welsh Wiliam were in the shelter. They had a gossip, and I listened in. William told us that the road, top of Winchester Street, and Mapperley Rise had been closed off! So the bus cannot get to the Winwood Court at all. We'd have to get off early and walk to Chestnut Walk and the flats.
Penny on pavement, William on the road, they soon left me lagging behind as they chatted away going up the hill. I wasn't bothered at all, I didn't want to be social and had a chinwag, I wasn't sulking and all sad! Hahaha!

Sweet Penny on the pavement, William on the road, they soon left me lagging behind. Not that I minded, why would I want to have a natter and talk to anyone! Sulking? Me? Yes!

William was right; Mapperley Rise was closed too. So there will be no 40 or 19 buses, not any buses for us until the work is finished. I imagine it is something to do with the block of private flats being built, electricity or waterworks? It might take some time, cause I couldn't see any workers?

Penny and William had stopped to tell some residents the bad news about the transport situation at the bus stop.
I caught up with them, and they moved off again. Welsh William walked with me through the link tunnel back to Woodthorpe Court. Penny caught us up.

I got in the flat and hastened for a wee-wee. Phew, made it just in time! Made a brew and got on with the gigantic job of catching up on this blog for hours!

A Special Nosh Prepared! - 'Accifauxpas'

I got all of the fodder onto a tiny rectangular tray, smaller than any plate. Determined to eat a little less, I am.

No bread and no potatoes. Tsk! The no potatoes may have something to do with me dropping the pot  and potatoes on the floor?)

End Car Park Status

Natty bit of parking on the hatched-lines area. I like the style of the black and white mini. Rather natty looking. A visitor, mayhaps?

I had another peep a little later. A black car parked on the hatching this time.

Head Down In Hope Of Sweet Morpheus

After cleaning the pots and washing, I settled in the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, nauseously beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety, difficile, crumb-covered tatty recliner, in search of kip.

Amazing! I nodded off! I vaguely recall dreaming of a certain carer. Obviously a betterer dream! Say, no more!
