Sunday 12th September 2021: Inchies Day, and sometimes the odd ode that might get slipped in!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

SATURDAY EVENING

I Gave Up!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

SUNDAY 12th SEPTEMBER 2021

03:10hrs: I stirred, passed wind, stood up with ease, caught my balance, wee-wee'd (getting more robust and more forceful!), and went to put the kettle on.

Where the morning view was demanding to be photographed, such was the beauty of the twinkling lights. So, I did!

But this is the best of the three that I photographed with the Canon. Shame! A shame I couldn't make a better quality one.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Well, these are down nicely. I wish they could find out why all the ups and down figures keep changing so often.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Prepping Food For Josie's Sunday Lunch

She asked for the chilli stew again last week, so chilli stew it will be for both of this sad Sunday!

I got some spuds in the crockpot, to be diced up small for Josie.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Summoned To The Throne

Imperiously - Urgently!

I nearly got my legs entangles with Metal Micky (4-pronged stick) as I scurried and stumbled my way to the wet room. It was all over in about a couple of minutes. No doubt about it, Trotsky Terence is in charge today! Damned messy and cringingly smelly with it at the same time.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Waste Bags Made Up

Sealed them, and into the box, they went.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Mug Of Thompsons Punjana

And I got on with the updating of this blog. I used the timer to remind me to check the food every fifteen minutes, add seasonings after tasting, etc., and I reset the timer.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Saturday Blog Completed

At last, I got the diary for Saturday done. Emailed the link, had a look at any comments come it, none yet, too early. Then on Facebooking, which cost me a lot of time, but I do enjoy it.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Morning Carer Arrived

A new to me young gal, name of Louise. Who was not in too much conversationalisationing, but was confident and capable enough, soon got the hang of my medications, bless her. As I bade her farewell...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Alarm!

This time was more urgent than the last one. I felt sure I would not make it to the Throne on time! But I did, just! I like these braces. They are easier to get out of than the belt. More importantly, this time, quicker as well! And well, the evacuation flowed - almost liquid. Trotsky has a grip on things now! Splattery, messy, and ponged, something awful! Eurgh! I had a heck of a job cleaning up and freshening myself and wet room furniture! Tsk! I'm not looking forward to the next visitation!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sister Jane Rang

A good natter and laugh and moan. Hehehe!

CorelDrawing

I've not got much time before Josie's food needs making up. But, I went onto CorelDraw to start at least on doing a graphic, or even two? I made two, not a lot, but better than one. Har-har!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Brew & Car Park Check

Three vehicles this morning! All parked near each other. The red tinge in the sky, photographed from the other end of the balcony.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Brew and a nibble

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Itching on the Head

Ran my hand over the dome, and it seemed I was secreting an oily substance of some sort? Mmm!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

It is the lovely Glady's Birthday tomorrow, so I made a graphic and posted it to the TFZer site. ♥ ♥ ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Josie Dines!

Delivered Josie's Sunday Meal to her door, yet again spot on time requested! Smug-Mode-Adopted. The gal seemed content with it.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Waste Bags to the Chute Room

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back to the flat

Got the beans in the small saucepan, then added some potatoes and Worcestershire Sauce. For me later on, with hopefully some sausages, or a beefburger, or whatever.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Kitchen Cleaned

Whoopsiedangleplop

I was reaching to get the potato I'm missed from the bowl, inevitably it shot pt of my hand...

See the little air slit at the back of the stove? That is where it disappeared to, after bouncing off of the stovetop, rebounding off of the microwave, without touching the sides! Humph!

Gave Up Trying to get it back

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Mission Impossible!

Added three of the four little potatoes to the beans in the pan. Sadly, I anticipate never seeing the fourth one again!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

On Computer Updating Blog

The mobile ran out - much to my delight, it was my much-missed and departed carer Jill ♥. She is going to come and see me later, but is very busy with her new job and sorting things. That was lovely to hear. More than lovely!

We chatted away,

Not seen her for many a day,

My heart and hopes were raised,

The gal can't be overpraised,

If only she could come and stay,

It can't be done, oh, lackaday!

Still, I'll continue to pray,

She will adopt me one day! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Made my Sunday Lunch

Sausages, bacon and beans.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Blissfully Nodded Off

Had minute or so of Herbert. Then went off to kip for nearly two hours or so. Woke and off to the kitchen to check nothing had been left dangerous, the faucet (tap) running, stove on etc., all clear.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer - Frit me!

There I was, wiping the sink down, and the new carer gal Sobia appeared from the darkness of the hallway, Gawd, did she make me jump! Yes, she flipping-well did! Hahaha! I've been a bag of nerves since. Sobia got the medications given and was soon off on her rounds.

Friday 10th September 2021: Inchies Day, and sometimes the odd ode that might get slip in!

♥ Mary & Gerry getting charged up? ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

FRIDAY 10th SEPTEMBER 2021.

I semi-stirred and had a natter with Teddy Ted & Koala Katie.

The Blood-Pressure had gone from in the green yesterday, up into the second-stage Red section! Erm, I'm perplexed!
Of course, with me being such a young, fit, attractive health fanatic as wot I am... Oh, never mind then! Hehe!
I came out of it in an instant, which I usually do, but had no idea why I'd seem to lose myself. I mentioned this once to the doctor; She listened patiently, then said, "Any other problems?" I didn't bother her again!
This car with the probationary 'P' plate was there a few times this week. So, I assume it is a carer or nurse, perhaps?
They were all small bags, so no bother or accifauxpas suffered.
Once the flow began, it was all clean, not messy at all, painless and bloodless!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

03:10hrs: Reality returned, in a fashion, and I noted that the feet were clearer this morning, and no Colin Cramps - Yee-Haa!

I rose to have an even more reluctant than yesterday wee-wee. At least it didn't spray all over the place this time. I think there was more AMD (After-Micturition-Dribbling) than actual wee-wee?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Stripped of the Clothing

And went for a stand-up wash and shaving session, during which I needed three more wee-wees, that combined, might have just filled a coffee cup? Well, nearly!

On the bright side of things, the knees were looking much better today.

The legs had gone back to fat at the top and skinny at the bottom?

However, the ablutioning went exceptionally well for once. In total, only about five dropies, and just one tiny nick shaving, no accifauxpas either, not a single knock, dizzy or banging into anything. Hard to believe, I know, even I was confused.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tended To The Health Checks

Fingers Crossed

The result? Oh, dearie me!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Started on this blog

But not for long!

Number-cruncher, manipulator, and Virgin Internet destroyer, CEO of Liberty-Global Mike Fries, ensured that.

Down Again! Grrr!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Made a Brew!

I swore a lot, then perambulated my chubby-wobbly body out onto the balcony to see how many cars were parked in the end car park. Not a lot - None!

Not that you can tell by this horrible photo I took. I should have got the Kodak out with it being so dark. Ah, well!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Eventually, Fries, #ucked Up Internet came back on

Pressed On Updating

It took me another three hours to get yesterdays post finalised, checked and sent off to Blogger.

Then, got back on finishing the Facebooking disturbing. The uncaring, Liberty-Global CEO Mike Fries had interrupted with one of his many failures and the Virgin Media internet going done for the 39th time this week! These skills he must have at number-crunching and toying with figures must have impressed his bosses, if he has any, enough to pay the Mammonistic, acquisitive, grasping, materialistic, gluttonous, hoarding, money-grabbing, predatory, rapacious, unscrupulous, cunning, reprehensible Mr Fries, over $22million a year, plus expenses, and no doubt back-handers are thrown in?

Still, it doesn't bother me!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Refilled Spring Water Bottles

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Haze came over me!

No depression or irascibleness, just the vagueness and almost pretty total loss the memory for a while, just a few minutes.

Where was I? Oh, yes, I was standing looking at the recliner, again why I don't know. But I took a photo of it, for some reason or other?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.

A Normality Returned

Carer Valerie rang the buzzer and came in. She was looking less stressed than yesterday, which pleased me.

Val got the medications sorted, as she was doing them, I had a look at the end car park - bejesus, a car had parked!

Valerie was soon off on her rounds but seemed happier, bless her.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Took the Bags to the Chute

I was secretly hoping that Valerie would take them on her way out. Which was cheeky of me - Naughty Inchie!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Duties

Another unwilling to start session. Which suited me cause I did very well starting crossword 101, the best start in a long time. I was almost sad when the torpedo forced its way into the pan. Hahaha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back To Finish Facebooking

Not too easy a job, I'd forgotten which and where I put which photos in the albums. Heck of a job sorting things out!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Finally Got This Post Started

Gone noon, now! After doing a bit of it, I had to go on CorelDraw to make up some graphics; I'm right out of them now!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Sobia

I ate the nosh and put the tray down, and I fell promptly asleep for two hours or so. I was woken by the incoming Carer Sobia, who didn't mess about, no time for a natter, got the medications done professionally, made me farewell and shot off.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I Got On With This Blog

Completed it, checked it so that Blogger could change my formatting, font size alignments etc. Posted it off, set up a template for tomorrow, and didn't bother with Facebooking. I knew $22m a year salaried Libert-Global Virgin Media Internet would go down, as it had done every day for the last eight days when I went on Facebooking, CEO? Phwert!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Thursday 9th September 2021: Inchies Day, and sometimes the odd ode that might get slip in!

♥ Plane to see, not a TFZer Car Pool? Hehehe! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Wednesday Evening

Facebooking and...

Liberty-(Crappy)-Global Virgin Media Internet came back on ten minutes later.

Then...

I gave up!

THURSDAY 9th SEPTEMBER 2021

06:10hrs: On my third awakening, I managed to force my pyknic, embonpoint, adipose, abdominous, podgy, flabby, paunch-dominated, stomached-body, from the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, not-working, rickety, incommodious, gungy recliner. With ease, too!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Mind Meandering!

Once I got my cumbrous, over-weighted body stood up, I wobbled toward the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket). Realising as I got to it, I didn't need to use it. This has not been known for a long time; not wanting a wee-wee on wakening? Should I be worried?

The Poddle-About-Unsure of what I was doing phase arrived.

Ah! I needed a wee-wee!

The Five-Second Weak Wee-Wee!

Popped into the wet room to pass my urine. What a dismal effort that was. A short but squirty sprinkle of about five seconds duration, and it was all over - it was all over in another way as well; All over the toilet, me, and the floor.

Somehow, a sprinkling had even reached up to the toilet rolls on top of the tank? How I managed that, I don't know?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Waste Bags Made-Up

I made up some waste bags, got the kettle on, cleaned the microwave, belatedly took the bags to the box in the hallway.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

PHENOMENAL HEALTH CHECK!

After eight days of way too high Sys, this morning has produced the lowest ever Sys count - 119! Wow! Result, in the green 'Normal' zone!!! And you can't say normal about other things with me!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Morning Carer Arrived

It was carer Sobia today. She has only been to once when she was in training and has gained confidence and efficiency in the ten days since, bless her. A pretty young thing, indeed. ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Window Cleaner Joe Arrived

As he appeared, standing in the hallway with all his gear at the ready, with the sun shining on him from the kitchen window... I just had to ask to stay as you are; For I saw an excellent opportunity for a photographicalisationing! Joe obliged, and I got my camera and took this relatively decent picture, I thought.

Joe liked it on the camera screen, and I asked him for his email to send it to him later. We always find time for a chinwag, laugh and mutual moan.

Always does a good job, too. After getting the windows sorted, I bade him farewell, and I asked him to thank Jenny (his next port of call) for me for the beautiful tomatoes she supplied.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Readied Things For My Hobble Out

Cash, bus-pass for the journey back, keys, taps, lights and cooker all off, shopping list, (I put that in the basket that the declutterers stole [Intentionally or otherwise] the lid off of).

Crossword book, in case I miss the bus back, reading glasses, hearing aids in, alert bands on the wrists, card, and rubbed some Phorpain into the knees before setting out.

Closed the newly cleaned windows of the balcony and closed the door.

The Dementia driven checked, double-checking and once more for luck, shoes and coat on, and off out on my hobble down to Sherwood.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Grand Weather For A Walk!

Along Chestnut Walk, and turned right down Winchester Street.

Obstacle Number One

Getting through the 'Bet to get cut on a twig' part of the road. I did!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Inchie Goes Into Makro Mode!

I was determined to try to take a photo, a tenth as good as those that Tim Price does. I put the camera into Macro-Mode. And tried to take some insects on the last of blackberry slowers.

I was patient, not hurrying, and a total failure! The one above was the best of eight or so I tried taking. I just could not hold the camera steady enough.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Down the Hill

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Crossed back over the road and called in the Co-op store. Got sugar-snap peas and a microwaveable BBQ rib.
Up to the Wilko Store.

Sherwood

Crossed over the road and fought my way through the E-scooters, up to the Afghanistan shop. Bought some bits, £7 worth.  Altaf was not there.

Manfield Road

I risked life and limb with the pavement cyclists. They were like flies! As quick, too! Only just caught this git before he disappeared behind the green box.

£27 Spent at Wilko

WHOOPSIEDANGLEPLOP!

Came to the checkout and I handed over £40, 2 x twenties, from the five it six in my pocket... I'll have to explain this; The trousers I was wearing had only been worn once, and that was years ago... and I found the cash in the back pocket, which cheered me up!

When the lady told me they were no longer legal tender and had been withdrawn years ago - I was no longer cheered up. I could actually hear the woman behind me tutting! Haha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Down To The Bank!

I could see a queue outside as I approached. Then spotted the vandalisation of the building!

It had been graffitied!

Arrived at the Bank

I could not understand how the queue had been formed; a lady opened the doors and told me they are not allowing any more customers in and closing in an hour, with four customers to serve?

Eh?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Missed The Bus

So, I meandered about window shopping for a while. A lot of people with time to go for a snack and drink. Sitting there doing nothing for ages.

Of course, I wasn't jealous,

Up To The Bus Stop

Slowly some more tenants of Winwood Heights arrived. Chrissie, Penny and two more I do not know the names of. We were soon dropping off at the flats, with Penny insisting I get off first, then along with Chrissie and a chap, they shot off back to Woodthorpe Court. They must have stopped for a natter because I caught them up in the link passage.

At the lift, the three of them fitted in the cage. I waited for the other one. All the lost chances for a good gossip today, Humph and fiddlesticks!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back In The Flat

A letter had been posted; I'll look at that later. Started to put the purchases away and got the kettle on the boil.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne Needed

And oh, boy, It was too!

Down on the plastic, instant action, smooth, quick and of a colossal size! No bleeding, though, with little pain!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back to sorting.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

So, I had a peep at the letter delivered.
Asking us if we knew of anyone who might like to live here at Winwood Court. We could forward the photo-copied leaflet to them. Mmm?

Mike Fries Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet Still Down!

Started To Update This Blog

A Massive Job!

But, thanks to $22million salaried Liberty Global boss Mike Fries, it had to be cancelled until the Virgin Media Internet signal returned.

I'll not get too excited, though!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The signal from Mike Fries Liberty-Global only lasted for a few minutes!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Spent hours Updating

It's getting dark now. The Evening Carer will be here any time now; hello, here she is now...

Carer Carole, or Samantha, maybe Pamela... arrived. I hate it when I get them mixed up. Tsk!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Although today's good moments. were few & far,

There was a fair moment of, there you are!

Money found in my old trews, Haha!

Went shopping in Wilko, feeling jocular,

£26 spent, what a shocker!

Then, told my money was out of date, hit my jugular!

Paid by card, to the bank, it's door locked, not ajar,

Told me that they were closing, blah!

Good job about good luck; I'm not particular,

Today's good moments really were few & far!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Fodder formulated!

Got some food made up and ate well.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Internet DOWN yet Again!

If anyone knows of any offers by trainee assassins at a cheap rate? Or anyone selling a working ballistic missile. I wouldn't mind, thanks. Then I could make contact of sorts, with over-paid, number-crunching, fact-fiddling, Mr Fries, and point out my displeasure at his inability to keep Virgin Media Internet online for longer than an hour at a time. It is a little annoying. Thank you.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Pissed-Off Now!

I'll have to try to catch up with blogging and Facebooking in the morning. I'll get my head down earlier and hope to wake up and make a start on this... assuming that $22million a year, plus expenses salaried, customer-hating Mike Fries of Liberty-Global, who own and are destroying Virgin Media internet, might possibly be back online?
