Evening

Evening views from the Kitchenette

Gorgeous!

A Special Tonight!

A touch of trial and error in tonight's stew menu. I added some Stubbs (Hickory Liquid Smoke to the potatoes and then the final mix). A mixed bag that didn't come out too bad at all. Hoping for the best.

Canned Chill Soup, draining off the liquid, and adding my own chilli and Bisto gravy, with some smoked capsicum and vinegar. Then some tomato Passata. Too much, perhaps?

And it came out alright... not brilliant, but satisfactory. I gave it a score of 7.40/10.

Sweet Morpheus!

Sleep was slow coming again, but when it did, I got four and a half hours worth of blissful and uninterrupted heavenly head-downing!

Saturday 17th July 2021

05:00hrs: Woke up, and with utter contempt and reluctance to returning to life, I nodded off again. And had a dream about drowning, falling from a rowing boat on the Nottingham canal? I think I was thrown out of the boat?

06:10hrs: I stirred again into an ersatz form of wakefulness, intending to drift off again to see if I died in the canal incident.

But, the need for a wee-wee changed my plans. I rose from the cosy depths of the £300, second-hand bought recliner, with incredible ease, and off to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket) and had let free a PSSU (Persistent, Short, Sharp, Uncomfortable)  mode wee-wee. A shockingly long lot of Cessational Micturitional) dribbling followed. When I get the ablutions done late on, I must wear the better protection pants, just in case.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Wet Room

Off to get the bucket emptied and sanitised in the wet room. And, needed another wee-wee while doing so. Hello, is it going to be one of those perpetually Wee-Weeing days?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The First Brew of the Day

Off to the kitchenette, the, for me, late morning view was most picturesque, I thought.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Dash to the Porcelain Throne!

In my haste and semi-panic to get to the Throne on time, a soupçon of Accifauxpas and annoying Whoopsiedangleplops had hit me when I'd gotten to the wet room:

  • I gave myself a toe-stubbing on the server wheels. Ouch!
  • Spacial Awareness Andy misjudged the distance of the door frame - Clunk!
  • Getting seated, I clouted Arthur Itis left knee on the floor cabinet corner!
  • Then things were so solid inside, there was no chance of evacuating owt!

Still, I got some crosswording done.

And the feet looked good! But pale.

.

Food Sorting and Prepping

Got some potatoes in the crock-pot, and I added some of the Stubb's Hickory Liquid Smoke. Cause I enjoyed those that I'd seasoned yesterday.

Then I checked the seasonings cupboard. Hehehe! No shortages there, then.

I cleaned the pill-splitter, had a few gulps of the Pentac medicine, and added some Jif lemon and lime to a bottle of Spring Water.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Booted Up the Computer

The dreaded blue screen comes on each time I boot the computer. (Sob!)

I'm praying that if the Carer today is Craig, he might be able to give me some tips or guidance.

I made a start on this blog and starting with last evenings events not put in yesterday.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Morning Carer Arrived

An hour later, and it was Craig calling! I mentioned the dreaded blue-screen problem and got a photo of it on the computer screen. That serves me right for thinking I was going to get some help from someone with it! But young Craig ignored it.

Craig got the medications sorted out professionally for me, and he shot off.

Google Blogger was changing things after I'd typed them, but I can't find out until I go into preview mode. I went into that very often!

Morning View Two

Beautiful! The delicate-looking puffer clouds are indicative of it being a hot sunny day today... Haha! But I might be wrong; it has been known.

Onto The YourArea Emagazine

In search of news snippets

Not much going on, though.

That's that, then!

I didn't make any comments or answers. But as usual, I was amazed at the differences that so many sufferers have to put up with.

Belated Health Checks Done

The Blood Pressure was back up into the Hypertension 1 stage. But yesterdays drop into Pre-hypertension was a miracle, and it is only just a little way up higher today. Grrreat!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

A Cuppa and Biscuit!

But, no! Yes, the mug of Glengettie, but instead of a biscuit or two, I had two mini pork and pickle pork pies... with Worcestershire sauce.

Fantastic flavour!

Dribble pies with Worcester Sauce!

Sister Jane Rang

We had an excellent nattering session. Fast wireless charging 10W - Qi Battery, Drone-detector facility, phone, it sounded tinny and hard for us to hear each other at times. Hehehe!

Although, as is usual with their £1605,  9 Pureview Mobile, with its Android (Pie) updatability, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, Octa-Core Gold CPU, 4K@30fps, 1080p@30fps, HDR video, USB Type-C 3.1, %x12 MP. 28mm Camera, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, Li-Po 3320 mAh, non-removable, fast charging 18W, Quick Charge 3.0, USB Power Delivery.

I enjoyed having a moan, natter and memory prompting; we both did, I think.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Feeling Drained Now

I decided to try and get a little nodding-off session before the Carer arrives. Gotten Himmel! I had an hour nod-off.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Woke Up, and off to the Late Ablutioning

Here is a report on the most amazing Ablutionalisational session ever taken!

Using the new prescription toothpaste, I surprised myself at how well I coped.

Not only did I not forget to spit out and not rinse the mouth - or use any mouthwash, the toothache was well within my bearability range! And, (this is true) no dropsies of brush or paste!

The good fortune continued with the showering. (Smug Mode Developing!) A few dropsies, but only a handful, and none worthy of recording.

Only the one Accifauxpas, when I bent down to pick up the shower gel, a decent clouting of the right shoulder on the grab trail. A bit painful, but again, not too bad!

A toe-stubbingless event!

The drying off went well as well!

The medicationalisationing... well, that didn't go so well, I'm afraid. Harold's Haemorrhoids did not take kindly to the Germloiding tonight, but I was doing it in a rush, as the Carer may come at any time. I don't see why, though?

Arthur Itis and Cathy Cartilage were fine about the Phorpain gelling.

.

But, Back-Pain-Brenda not so? Why?

As usual and not unexpectedly, the Daktacorting of Little Inchies Fungal Lesion... Hurt!

Germolene applications to the sore areas were so welcome and eased the pains well! ♥

Getting dressed, for once, went off without any Nicodemus's neurotransmitters failures or indeed any of Neuropathic Pete’s adventitious right leg Schuhplattler drop-something and flail-about dancing routines; this was Good!

A right mixed bag, but more good than bad!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Arrived

No sooner was I dressed and the door chimes rang out. It was Carer Helen, a friendly gal, she's been to tend to me before I think, but I had to ask her her name. I mentioned the Blue Screen and how it was affecting me, getting me down. Helen said she would ask her father if he knew anything, and she took a photo of the blue screen.

♥ That was kind of her ♥.

Got the Lounge Pants Washed

I washed, rung, refreshed and hung the so-called lounge pants I got from Amazon. About two months ago, maybe less.

They have frayed at the end of the legs. The pretend pockets have both fell to pieces. The gusset has split. Tsk!

I must do a report to Amazon.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Made a Brew of Thompsons Punjana

Getting late now, and I do not feel like eating. The two mini pork & pickle pies I had earlier seem to have fuelled me up enough?

Made the brew and took a photo of the Godsmacking evening view.

The colouring was so different to usual. I put a photo of yours truly on it for a bit of fun... I thought the connection twixt the sun and my dome was suitable for getting a smile or laugh?

Updated this Blog (Ode)

Got it sent off to blogger,

But it was a right bugger,

Blogger changing the fonts,

Does doing this make Google feel smugger?

It's me that it affronts!

Just thought I'd mention it, like!

Wednesday 14th July 2021

04:00hrs: I recovered consciousness and waited for the brain to do the same... it took a while. As it engaged a semi-reality, the mild Thought Storms engaged; There is a reason I should get up other than the current one, of needing a wee-wee... but what was it?

I grappled with the over-bellied body, and I got it out of the clutches of £300, second-hand bought, c1968, nauseously beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety, difficile, crumb-covered tatty recliner. Caught my balance quickly enough and off to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket), Where I took a reluctant, sprinkle wee-wee. After which, a fair bit of  PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling) followed; this confused me a bit, the aftermath dribbling was probably more than the main event!

ACCIFAUXPAS

Walking into the doorframe of the wet room, but heroically, I clung onto the bucket! Hehe! I took the NWWB to be emptied and disinfected.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I washed up and into the kitchen to put the potatoes into the crockpot and seasoning them with a bit of sea salt.

This was when I remembered what I wanted to, or instead, I had to do this morning; The Iceland delivery is due! So, in my usual industrious way, I made room for the sour raspberry ice cream suckers that I've got coming later on by eating one from the freezer. It had to be done. Haha! I got the kettle on and took a morning view photographicalisation from the thick-framed, impossible to get at to clean windows.

It looked like it might be a sunnier day today. Not that it will mean much to me. Sour thinking there? I'll try to cheer myself up a bit. Made a brew of Glengettie tea, started singing Billy Fury's Halfway to Paradise and got the Health Checks sorted.

What A Surprise with the BP!

The Blood Pressure had come out in the Hypertension level 2 today!

But all the other readings seemed fair enough to me.

Updating Tuesdays Inchies Day

Started uploading the photographs I'd taken and getting them and the ones from last night formulated for use. During the hour or so it took to get these done, I'd taken a total of five more wee-wees! Every one of them of the MRT (Most-Reluctant-Trickle) mode. However, no PMD (Pre-Micturition Dribble) and only short bits of CMD (Cessational Micturition Dribble). Oh, dearie me!

I'll try not to mention these wee-wees again. We can assume that they slowly wore me out at regular intervals. Cragnangles!

Iceland Delivery Arrives

Fire Alarm Activating!

The Iceland delivery arrived.

It seemed to me that I'd controlled myself when making the order this time. Only six carrier bags! I got the bags through to the kitchenette. Had a wee-wee, washed my hands, and back to put the good away, starting with the freezer. All to go in there was the naughty noughat ice-cream lollies, a milk roll loaf and wholemeal bread thins.

.

But it filled the freezer to capacity.

But there was a problem. I'd somehow managed to order five packets of four slices of cooked topside beef? And the fridge was nowhere near full after I'd put the stuff away.

They should have been £1.89 each, but five for the price of four on offer. I know I have problems with numbers and arithmetic nowadays, but how they came to charge me £8.57 defeats me? I could be wrong; of course, with my Arithmaphobia, I'm not certain. Not happy about this?

Computerisationing

I got back to working on the computer. Sent off the email links. (MRTwee-wees continuing!)

Photo's sorted, and this blog Template made, and I started working on it. Then went of Facebook catching up, TFZers.

Well, well well, another smooth, unmessy, unpainful, bloodless evacuation!

Morning Carer Arrived

Carole, I think it was, came in quietly, making me jump as I didn't hear her. Haha!  I'd forgotten about the carer altogether; she was that late.

But not her fault! Carole kicked of by apologising to me for her being late. The Fire-Alarm was still going when she arrived, and like me yesterday, she was marooned on the ground floor until the lifts could be restarted again. Poor gal.

We got the medications sorted, and off she had to trot to her next client.

Evening Carer Arrived

I think that the gal must have been working for 12 hours plus again. The poor thing did look so tired and worn out. Got me sorted, and I tried to cheer Carole (?) up a smidge.

Sweet Morpheus Denied Me!

Getting to sleep was not easy. The Thought-Storms were remarkably quiet, I was worn out mentally, but rest was denied me for hours! I just cannot understand why!

An Ode To Sweet Morpheus

Please, dear Morpheus, let me sleep!

I need rest, for my sanity to upkeep,

Your denials leave me in a mental scrapheap!

Respite and recovery, I cannot reap,

I may return to the attention of the barkeep,

For many nights, you've made me undersleep!

Any more refusals, and I will weep?

My depression is getting deep,

I'm sick of counting the sheep!

Monday 5th July 2021: Diary, graphics, photographicalisations, and maybe the odd ode, to be told?

A TFZer, getting tips from Gordon Ramsay?

Monday 5th July 2021

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Getting up took enforced motivation!

After a not very willing rejuvenescence, I lay there, the body mangled and half out of the c1968, second-hand recliner. I was fighting against my clinomania like never before! I kept talking to myself to encourage some physical movement, and I must have nodded-off again ten times at least? Got fed up with it!

Around 06:00hrs, the need for a wee-wee helped me out, and at last, the overly bellied body responded to my commands. I escaped the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, not-working, incommodious, grotty recliner, kicking the signs of nocturnal nibbling, crisp packets and an ice-lolly wrapper, as I hobbled to the wee-wee bucket.

The eyes were still heavy-lidded, the spirit unwilling, and I awaited some activity from the grey-cells. The brain kicked in. The carer is due soon: what should I do first? The ablutions methought... but cleared the nibbling-guilty rubbish first. By which time, my intentions had either been forgotten or replaced.

Yabbadabbadoo!

Ablutions Abluted Hehe!

A great session compared to yesterday. Fair enough, the usual dropsies were a lot, but of no harm or bother. Toothache is easier; far less painful, as was the brushing. A stand-up wash, too early yet to use the shower. Again, this went without any bother. Drying, medicating and dressing, produced as I say, a few dropsies, but no knocks, stumbles, falls, walking into anything, and my spatial awareness seemed to be spot on this morning? Blimus, something must go wrong before long; this is unnatural?

Even the legs and feet were looked a lot less battered - and the new blotches are fading. I could see only one new one on the legs near the groin, from those seen on Sunday better this morning?

The legs had regained some weight rather quickly overnight, possibly fluid retention. The skin, particularly the legs, were pale, stramineous, leucous, with a  peakish pallor.

Chestnut Walk Photographicalisationing

I put the Canon camera battery on charge, and I used the Kodak PixPro to take these photographs from the balcony. I could not believe it... when it steadied the camera, which is a larger one and can be a devil to get decent shots with; Shaking Shaun, Nicodemus's Neurotransmitters, and Saccades Sandra, were all kind to me!

I'm treating records today! With things that have never happened before:

1) The hardest ever case of dysania I've ever struggled with.

2) The most amazing Health Check results, with the lowest ever Blood Pressure!

3) The easiest ever Ablution Session!

4) The suspected Clopidogrel marks suddenly beginning to disappear from the legs?

5) The ailments did not interfere or attack while taking photographs of Chestnut Walk (below).

6) Little Inchies fungal lesion was not bleeding at all this morning, for the first time in months!

7) Then the biggest ever Porcelain Throne evacuation since coming out of the hospital, and with no bleeding! (later).

Where was I?  A bit of procrastination crept in there, sorry. Oh, yes, the photos:

Chestnut Walk

Made a Brew of Thompsons Punjana

I kept changing my mind about which tea to make. My cunctationing and shilly-shallying knew no limits. I even argued with myself about which brew to have? Sad, innit?  I ended up going for Glengettie after all that. Started to get the photos uploaded and sorted for this blogs template. Starting off the post at  08:15hrs - and realised that the morning Carer was a little late. This happened last Monday as well. Some carer had rung in at the last minute to the company, which was not good that late.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Carer Nichole Arrived

But today, Nichole was only a little bit late; I bet she's copped for some extra calls. ♥ She wasn't her usual self this Monday morning.

My EQ told me she was worried about something, which made me sad, a lovely gal! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Summoned to the Porcelain Throne!

Aha, at last something didn't go so well - although not disastrous, mind you. I got to the Throne, and the movement began as I was dropping my trews, so I had to rush a bit to get seated in time.

Boy, oh, boy, it was a thick light brown torpedo that flowed, taking a minute to clear the innards! Which it did bloodlessly and painlessly! Yet, It must have been about a foot long and chunky with it! The stick was needed to encourage it to disappear when flushed a few times! So, this session ended up as yet another bit of good luck for me. Pain and bleeding were absent, Harold Haemorrhoids were not bothered by the size of the thing... It was amazingly smooth and easy to clean up too!

Hristina Arrives To Take My Blood

11:00hrs, my Plbotomy Angel, Hristina came, to take my blood. She'd managed to get a parking space today! Hurrah!  Soon had my blood taken and found time making an effort to chinwag with me while draining my haemoglobin. For the first time ever - (another record was broken today), I had Shuddring Shoulder Shirley had a go at me while Hristina was putting the needle in! It didn't really hurt much, but we had a job to stop the bleeding after the sample was taken. Hey-ho!

Hristina left on her busy round, and as usual, I sulked a little when she went. Sob!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Intercom Problems Again Tsk!

The intercom lit up: had I been in another room, I would not have heard it, and the volume is on full as well. Whoever it was filled the screen with his mush, and I could not hear a word he was saying. But the machine went blank while he was talking, so that was that. I think it might have been a call from Kingston Court again, as what bit of background I could see just didn't match up to anything in the Woodthorpe lobby. Huh!

Scam Call Came in on the Landline

11:30hrs: I could not understand everything he was saying, but I recognised the script he was reading from and his distinct Asian voice; it was the same as last week and the week before when he called to scam me. I put down the phone. Swine!

Evening Thoughts

The body of its own accord begins to transume,

Welts, and blotches, the skin does consume,

No hair left on the head to groom,

Life is like living in a mausoleum,

No pep, drive, hope or vroom,

I've become a bridegroom,

Time to enter my tomb,

Never will, I assume,

Or Wizards broom,

Back to the womb!

Peace does loom,

Oh, I need wee-wee, off I zoom!
