03:00hrs I woke, worried and stirred awake,
The Vaccinationing went better, no mistake,
Apart from a little annoying earache...
No pains, stinging, not even a shake!
Mind you, dozens of wee-wees today, I had to take!
I think I took two Furosemides, the wee looks opaque?
I'd better watch my fluid intake,
The Thought-Storms didn't give me a break,
The wind I was passing was like a microearthquake,
Care and attention I'll have to partake...
To signs of Porcelain Throne needs, for heaven's sake,
No signs yet of any tummyache... Hello, toothache!
Will today from hassles, give me a break?

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I just had to take this picture to show you!

THE FACE IN THE HEEL OF MY RIGHT FOOT!

I drew in the eyes and lip on CorelDraw in case you could not see the face in the heel. Surely, one for the Tate Gallery? Hehehe!

So, on with the health checks...

Grrreat! All in the green again!

WHOOPSIEDANGLEPLOP

I got ready to go to Sherwood to get some spuds, sausages etc. Keys, card, camera collected. Made sure I was dressed properly for the nippy cold Sun that was shining, but not fooling me! Hehe! Called in to see Deana and Julie. A chinwag at the bus stop. I was feeling good, all content like.

Got to Sherwood and visited three stores, but not with much success. To the Ozan shop, I got three of the six things I wanted. Then up to the Co-op. Huh! No garden peas, no cream cakes, and no decent potatoes!

I got some cakes from the Birds store. I like to try and get a couple of cakes each Monday or Tuesday for the ILC's Deana and Jackie, as a thank you.

Wilko had no bleach, but I did get some Zoflora lemon concentrated disinfectants, two large bottles.

I'd taken many photographs en route, and at the bus stop, I took the last one in Sherwood - Oh, dearie me! I'd done it again... I'd left the SD card on the computer back at the flat! Grrr!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Somewhat miffed with myself, I dropped the cakes off, back to the flat, and got ready to go out again, to town this time. Hoping for a better shopping experience this time! I made sure, belatedly, I know... that the camera had the card in it; and was determined to get some photographicalisationing done in the City Centre! Humph!

I got outside to the bus stop, taking these photos en route. The first one shows Winwood and Woodthorpe Courts, the right one of Winchester Court, and the bottom one, the view from the bus stop. I was pleased with these and that the shaking hand and arm allowed me to too!

A decent natter again, oh, I do love meandering gossip! Got the bus and was soon in the City Centre. Although the first port of call at the Poundland Shop was a waste of time and frustrating. I'll explain... I bought some items; they had no cooked ham, drain unblockers, Jacob's mini-cheese biscuits, or Fresh air sprays... the serve you till had broken, so there were only the self-serve ones to use... I joined the queue.

The red light and recorded voice started. I waited for assistance as instructed, but the girl doing the helping was overloaded with jobs from other tills, and after ten minutes or so, I just left the shop. Purchaseless!

I set off with the camera to hand, and I walked to the Poundland Shop on Fletcher Gate, taking these snaps en route...

Leaving the Upper Parliament Street Shop

South Parade, the sky looking threatening

South Parade - This lorry frit me! Hehe!

South Parade still, Cyclist galore!

Pavement food cyclist, using his mobile, nearly ran into the tree!

Long Row, short skirt weather?

Slab Square

Nottinghamians at work

Fletcher Gate, eScotter, bike near pedestrian crossing... Humph!

I got into the shop and came out with rather a lot of buys! They had some things in that the other store didn't, so I grabbed some. Drain unblocked, Dettol, Bread rolls, pork pie, mini cheddars, French fries and Quavers. The trolley was well overloaded, making the journey home dodgy, challenging, and tiring. (Poor old thing, Haha!)

I had to be careful getting home!

Not a single person in the Square who was not on their phones, drinking, or eating.

At the bus stop on Queen Street.
The journey home was fraught with dangers. A p[oor chap was talking to me, and I could not understand what he was saying, but his nature was at times threatening, kept mentioning having Tourettes, poor lad. That and the strain on trying to hold onto the trolley and bags as they swayed about. And having to move to let a lady and her baby get in with her trolley and toddler took it out of me for some reason. A lovely little gal, well cared for by Mum.

Chrissie from the flats got on, and we managed a conversation of sorts. Sign language and masks pulled down for lip-reading. We both hobbled, with Chrissie stopping to let me catch up a couple of times, and ended up in the lift, offering farewells as I got off on the twelfth floor, and Chrissie went up one to her flat on the thirteenth.

Back in the flat...

The DVT Warfarin results and dosages for the week had been delivered. The same as last week, yet the level was still at five? Ah, well!

Got in and put the purchases away.

I got the foods from the crock-pot into the saucepan and started it warming up. Then a mug of tea seemed a good idea to me...

ACCIFAUXPAS!

Hell, and Grobbledonks!

Nicodemus's neurotransmitters let me down as I was getting the Jenny donated to me, Bless Her, China mug from the hook... I was dumbfounded and instantly depressed! This was, without a doubt, the best-tasting tea vessel I have ever had... Well, that the end of my enjoying a brew. I could have cried; in fact, I think I did!

I got the strained Chilli soup, tons of leeks, potatoes and gravy added to the mix in the dish. 8.5/10 rating!

Got up to wash the dishes...

Whoopsidangleplop

Stubbed my Toe! Argh!

But it ended with another smile. As I got down into the c1968 recliner, I visualised a face again in the tight foot's heel. In the morning, I touched it up to have another laugh at... Hahaha!

A busy day... with plenty of cock-ups, errors, Accifauxpas, memory blanks, and Whoopsiedangleplops!

Not felt as happy as this, since 2011

Yet, I think I enjoyed it?

Apart from breaking the China Mug! Sob!

  2. Nothing quite like finding a perfect subject for a photographicalisation, only to note that the SD card remains in flat 72. Groppelstaphicazers!!
I enjoyed the panoramas in yer home city there, most educationifying is what it were, Sir!
Somehow, I have managed to have a daily Warfarin dosage of 5.0 mg, easy to remember for a member of the codgerhood such as I.
Wot a sad occurrence of a favorite cup. Yargs and Bricks!
The Tate is probably going apoplectic at yer face on a heel. They will probably want yer to sit on a chair sans stockings, just waiting for art afficianodos to queue up to gape at the miraculous appearance of an unexpected happenstance. I wonders how much they will grant you per hour for yer services.
So does Billum report right here on Inchcock's Day.
    TTFNski, kind Sir!

Dideth you notice the changing clouds and sky on the hobble out, Sir? The rain cameth later, but I missed it - these events of good luck, are worrying me? Unnatural!
The demise of my beloved Glengettie Special China mug, saddened me so, but Hey-Ho!
Hahaha! The Tate ruse had me smiling, Sir. Well, I even laughed a bit - I thank you!

All the bestest of fortunes sent through the ether, for HRH and your worthy self, mate!
