Saturday 14th August 2021: Inchies Diary, and sometimes the odd ode, that might be told?

♥ Something Not Right Here! Worrisit? ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

SATURDAY 14th AUGUST 2021

04:15hrs, my first awakening, and the brain revealing a Koche-Putzi, a mishmash of unwanted worries and fears flowed.

My somnambular mood, and firm oppugnancy at the very thought of getting back awake, reduced me to a whimpering wreck, determined not to be active in mind or body! I soon fought off the nagging Thought Storm and returned to where I felt and insisted that I should be, in the arms of Morpheus, and I slipped blessedly back to sleep! If I remember correctly, with a warning coming to me from my EQ?

04:35hrs: I stirred once more, ignoring the want of a wee-wee (I paid the price for this later!), I stayed put where I was, and I got back into the land of nod!

05:00hrs: I woke again, this time with a smidge of guilt. I pondered over the percentage chances of an accident, wee-wee-wise, and knowing I do need to get up - I dropped off again!

06:00hrs: This time, there was no resisting the need for a wee! In fact, I had to fight my way out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, horrendously grungy coloured, eyesore of a haemorrhoid-testing, unfit-for-use, recliner, and toe-stubbingly got to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket).

Where an FPB (Forceful-Painful-Blasting) marathon of a wee-wee flowed out as if from a hose-pipe! The agony, all my own fault entirely, for denying the bladders wants earlier! Huh!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Started doing Odd Jobs?

Made up some waste bags, washed and disinfected the wee-wee bucket; I used it again first. Tsk! But the flow had gone back to its unwilling, weak, wilful resistant mode. For some reason, I took a photo of the end of the new car park. Ah, yes, I know why now, all the vehicles in it were red ones?

I shall relate this to Billum, from near Ohio.

Health Checks Done

The BP was sneaking back up to the hypertension pink area. But I'm not bothered; it's been in the red a few times recently.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Food Prepping!

Got the gorgeous garden pod peas podded!

Then the spuds in the crockpot...
Then remembered to slice and add the flat uncultivated mushrooms.

Better late than never!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Nasty Nicodemus's Neurotransmitters!

The Updating of Friday's block did not go well. In fact, it took longer than ever it has to get it sorted. The nerve ends were the main reason. Later on, it was listening to the haughty, untouchable, pompous, pretentious, uppity Herbert's drilling or grinding with the odd tap and bangs was making concentration harder as well. But, still, the inviolable, sacrosanct, unchallengeable Herbert is driving me bonkers, but as the management of NCH believe he has the right to annoy me every day, I'll say no more! I don't want to get thrown out of my flat for saying too much!

Well, well, he's quietened down now. Sorry, Herbert! Keep up the silence!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Blogger Buggers things Too!

When it came to finalising the blog, most of the things I had changed so often earlier, to get back to how I wanted them to look, had been changed by Blogger again! Alignments, font sizes etc., had been altered. I shall be interested to see what it comes out like on the web later. Snagrotts! I posted it with crossed fingers.

Carer Arrived Late

Not her Fault, I must Say!

It was Carer Kara who called. A sweet-natured gal. She got the medications sorted for me. I asked her if she was late because staff had not turned up again, as it was Saturday? Poor thing! The poor gal has been covering and done a long shift, she said. I did my best to cheer her up. And she has a lovely nature. ♥

Started This Blog Going

Sister Jane rang me

We had a jolly good gossip, and I was getting updates on their situation, and Harassing Herbert started drilling and tap-tapping. Annoyingly, Jane could not hear him. Humph! Still, a nice long natter was enjoyed.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Strayed Off The Plot...

Went to make a brew. I noticed some marks on the kitchen floor and got don to clean them up. Wiping twixt the cupboard and cooker, what came out, but a dried harder than concrete pea! This one must be an old one, not from last week, yesterday, or today. It must have been laying awaiting being discovered for months! Hahaha!  Like you do.

Did a bit more cleaning and wiping and made up a small waste bag...

Sealed it and got the roll and took a bag off of it; Nicodemus's Neurotransmitters struck again. I dropped all three at the same time! Getting down to retrieve them, (This picture I took gives you a clue to what happened, I don't think I need to say, but I will anyway...)

I stubbed my left foot toe on the wheel of the server trolley! Argh! Spurgledang!

No cuts or bruises, mind. But so painful!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

At Long Last! I began This Blog

I am now so far behind with everything; it's well into the afternoon, already! Haliva!

Many breaks for a wee-wee ensued. Every one of the PSSU (Persistent, Short, Sharp, Uncomfortable) modes. A fair bit of CM (Cessational Micturitional) dribbling. I'll be glad to get the ablutioning done. I had to change into new PPs now, though, have a freshen up like, and medicated the piles while doing so.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

YourArea Emag Perused

I had a search for anything of possible interest that I could use sarcastically. Haha!

Found a few...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got The Meal Sorted

Every item, apart from the chicken, tasted ace! Outstanding were fresh peas! The tomatoes shop bought, we disappointing, to say the least, bland but about passable. So and thus, a Flavour-Rating of 7.2/10.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Arrived

It was Valerie. She was in a rush tonight, but she still gave me a minute to gossip after sorting the medications out for me. She took two bags with her to the waste chute! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

A Different Dessert Tonight

A fruity ice cream lolly. Nice!

Tangy flavours. I liked it!

Ode To My Odes

My Odes, I know, are not proper right,

It's safer to read them in daylight,

I'll claim not any copyright,

They are not paper on which I write,

Not never written with any foresight,

The words just flow as they might,

Occasionally, one comes out a delight,

But that is less than a double fortnight,

When this happens, it's a real highlight,

From Thought storms, I get no respite,

Panicking, to me, is a parasite,

Life is never black and white!

THURSDAY 12th AUGUST  2021

Around 01:00hrs, I woke with a start. If it was a noise, nightmare, or whatever woke me, I could have done without it! I just had to get up to check around for any signs of the possible noise or something having fallen over.

ACCIFAUXPAS

I gave myself a stubbed toe against the chair wheel, conducted my failed-to-find anything fakakta search, and gave the other foot a stubbing as I hit the bottom of the wet room door as I was going in for a wee-wee.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tried To Nod-Off Again

I persisted in trying to get back to sleep for a while - but it was in vain, feh, what a schlimazel! I got up again and did the Health Checks.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Phenomenal Results!

First Time Ever, the BP is wholly in the Green!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Early Morning View

It looked beautiful out there.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Liberty-Global Down Again!

Not that he is the slightest bit interested. The figure-bending and manipulating overpaid, materialistic, mercenary, money-mad, profit-oriented, figure-crunching Mike Fries has dollar signs blurring his vision. He is probably unaware of the crap service he is offering the people of Nottingham... Mind you, if I was getting paid that money for failing miserably... Would I care?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

In Search of Sweet Morpheus

Waking around 06:30hrs, in need of a wee-wee. I had to accinge my loins, as the sprinkly weak wee-wee went into the bucket, not exactly what you could call a good start! I reckon I eventually got 4½hrs kip.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Depression Dawned

I was in a vacillatory, muddled... nae, addled, frame of mind. I began doing various jobs and finishing none of them and moving on to another task - all the time, a Deep-Depression grew within...

Shredding paperwork, making up waste bags, cleaning the floor near the cooker, and even hand-washed the green shirt!

Out of the darkness of my mind, I then decided to get the ablutions tackled.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Porcelain Throne First

Got the jammies PPs down, seated my ever-growing bigger-bum on the raised disabled seat - and the flow began smoothly and painlessly!

And flow it did! I wondered where it was all coming from. Stood up to inspected the mass of evacuated product; No mess, no bleeding, as I have already mentioned, no discomfort of any kind.

However, the cistern did not clear the content within three flushes? Phew! So, I got the bamboo stick out to encourage things refilled the tank twice, and it cleared, at long last. This did not seem to bother me like it would typically have. Depression-Dave to blame, methinks? I even managed to drop the Germoloid ointment tube, and this did not phase me either? The ultimate test was when I hit my knee against the door when getting the trews on... this did bother me!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ablutionalisationing

A stand-up job again, too early to use the noisy shower yet. Things went well, almost perfect for once. A total of only about five dropsies. But...

Accifauxpas!

Moving the shower chair with the dreaded sock-Glide on it, I dropped it, sending the glide to the floor! The clattering noise was so loud, it made me jump! Sorry, folks! At least the feet and legs were looking good! The poor people who were still in bed must have got a bigger shock.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got on the Computer

Made a start on this blog. But not for long. Took this photo through the balcony windows. Nicodemus's Neurotransmitters began losing contact with the brain, causing me some hassle and to lose so much time, to correct and check things. Very aggravating. Humph!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

♥ Morning Carer Arrived ♥

It was Jill. I think she'd let herself in and had a ferret around the junk room to see how things were. Before coming in the front room behind me (on the computer) and giving me the regulation jump on hearing her voice, Hehe!

Jill got the medications sorted out for me. Then we had a little chat, which was super-duper!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back on the Computer

After a while, I made the first brew of tea of the day, Thompsons Punjana. Very welcome, it was too! I continued, falteringly, with the updating of this blog.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Door Chimes Chimed!

It was the window cleaner. I waffled on to the captive audience of one about last night's terrible sleep, my concerns over the decluttering etc. The chap was patient with my persiflage and grumbling on and on. I paid the gentleman and thanked him. Apologising for my blethering chitter-chattering.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back on the Computer Again

The balcony window caught my eye as I sat down in the swivel chair. And I took this snap of the view through the freshly cleaned windows.

I ventured out onto the balcony and took these two shots with the Kodak.

The first one, the new end car park, had the sun coming behind to ruin my chances of getting a decent picture. Shame! The tenant who is still working had his red van neatly parked between the lines, not! The same two red cars in the new park, and I think three Nottingham City Homes maintenance vans. The second shot of the balconies to my right, capturing the clear sky and beautiful trees of Woodthorpe Grange Park.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Phonecall

A chap from the Rehab Team called. He made an appointment to come and see me. Tuesday 17th @ 14:00hrs. I assume it is from the stroke rehab team or the Diabetes... maybe cardiac? A Sarah Singh will be calling on me.

Ode Penned

I posted it as a stand-alone one. Cause I thought it read somewhat humorously...ish!

Link: Ode To Hopes

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Herbert

Huh! Herbert was giving it some clout all the way through the Ode creating. Bless Him! Later on, he started drilling, then back to the tap-tapping. I hope he doesn't hurt himself too much. I'd settle for a broken bone or two for him, as long it was painful enough.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

CorelDrawing

Made two graphics, they all help.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Settled for Catnap

Hoping to attain a state of dormancy for the brain. Free me from the Thought-Storms for a short while. At least, get some somnolence. Just getting some shut-eye would be grand. But, No! Hypnagogia and dysphoria ensured that Sweet Morpheus did not pay me a visit. Not to mention the three trips for a wee-wee in half-an-hour?

I admitted defeat. Threw the towel in and climbed out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, eyesorely-horrendously grungy coloured, haemorrhoid-testing, unfit-for-use, recliner. As I stood up to catch my balance: 'Clunk, Thud, Whirrrr!' came from above. Thanks, unfriendly, standoffish, sullen, frosty, ungregarious, unamiable, snotty, Herbert.

Got The Nosh Prepped

I tried not to put so much on the plate today; I think I managed it? Hehehe!

Cutting back on the spuds was hard, but sheer fear of Sister Janes cutting, scathing, scary, condemnations, denunciations, and admonish-mentating helped me eat less. Hahaha!

Carer Arrived

It was Eliska, no doubt a beautiful young lady. It was hard to hear what she says, she's a low, quiet voice, and with the facemask on, I have to guess what Eliska said sometimes, and I felt a fool always asking her to repeat what she had said. Caution to the wind, she removed her mask after that when she sole to me - did you get that? Spoke to me. I do love a chinwag, no matter how difficult. ♥ I was a smidge sad when she had to leave.

Wednesday11th August 2021: Inchies Diary, and sometimes the odd ode, that might be told?

♥ Ah, a TFZer Party? ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

WEDNESDAY 11th AUGUST 2021

05:00hrs, I stirred and wrestled out of the recliner to have a weak willingless wee-wee. And I wandered into the kitchen to put the kettle on. Then had to rush to the Porcelain Throne, which I did!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evacuation Number One

Trotsky Terence made a fierce comeback this morning. Gooey, messy, stinky and most uncomfortable. Cleaning up afterwards was unpleasant and cost me much lost time!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Blogging

I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana and spent ages, seemingly getting nowhere, updating the Tuesday blog! I kept wandering off onto other things on the web, found a word and was determined to see what it meant. But I eventually got back to updating the post for a couple of much interrupted hours! More minutes lost!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Accifauxas

I was putting the kettle on again, and the tiniest 'Phlut' of wind popped out of the rear end... But so did other stuff!!!

I cringed, took in what had just happened, and hurried as fast as I could to the wet room. I got myself seated with great alacrity and a plump that I thought must have broken the raised seat at first! The activity flowed, well, spurted out, until the end bit, that was another dollop of gooey, sticky, messy evacuated product! The lingering pong was still pungent when things were all sorted! Cleaning afterwards, medicating and cleaning up this time must have taken me close to an hour.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I'd Forgotten the Health Checks!

So I did them, better late than never. Haha!

The Blood Pressure was up a smidgeon, but no complaints; this was good enough for me!
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Email From Pete

Had an incoming message from Xyrophobia suffering Brother in Law Pete. he's had his operation and was feeling okay. Which is lovely to know! He sent a p[photo of his wee-wee he took after his operation.

It looks like a Madiera to me. Hahaha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Billum & HRH Lisa

I thought of HRH Lisa, and Billum,(MLitt), AAB: Associate of Applied Business, ASPT-APT: Associate in Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Computational Finance, Master of Science in Teaching (MST), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Institute of Physics (IOP), and Associate Professor of the OSRCMA Ohio Red Car Monitoring Assessment (Financial Donations Accepted) of somewhere in Ohio, in the USA, would like to note that the red car owners seem to have been the first to grab spaces in the new and car park. Awaiting comments.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Made up some waste bags, took them to the waste room chute and dep[osited them down the aforementioned cast-iron lid.

Had a bash at the newer crossword. Gave up!
Ah, Liberty Global Virgin Media Internet was back online, but ghostly slow! Gits!.
But it scrubbed all nicely. Hahaha!

Wrote and thanked him for the laugh. Hehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.

The Mind Seems To be Vague?

I then found photos on the SD card of the view pictures taken from the balcony hours ago.

The sky was an odd colour, come shade, I thought. By the time I'd got my bulbous, gigantic flabby-bellied body back inside from the balcony, it had changed to normal? The beautiful puffer clouds came out later on in the morning.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Morning Care Arrived Late

To be correct, two of them let themselves in. I was making a mug of Glengettie tea at the time. I'm also considering ringing up to see where the carer was. I'm glad I didn't do it now. Obviously, Carer Helen showed new recruit Carer Sellonge (I guessed at the spelling) her duties, so she would naturally be behind timewise. They got the medications handed to me, made sure I took them. I offered them each a can in thank you, not sure if they took any, I think Helen did, and she deserved it! ♥

Unfortunately, with the Carer getting here at 08:00hrs, it was too late for me to go out on my planned trip to the bank. I'll try again later in the week, methinks. It can't be helped, though; I'm not complaining. I understand how it is.

Finally, I Got The Updating Done

Then sent the Email with the link... but...

The Internet Went Down Yet Again!

Crungleknuts!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Left The Computer

Waited for the 'Liberty-Global' Virgin Media Internet' to hopefully come back on again.

Hand-washed a shirt in the sink.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Computer Tried Again...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got some photos to use as a background for the Inchies Day headers. Then opened CorelDraw to create them with.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Removing the Ink Blot that Wasn't?

I thought I'd got some ink on my finger. After trying soap, nope. I moved on to bleach without any luck. The scrubbing brush was utilised then. As I bent down to pick up the dropped scrubbing brush, I had to put my spectacles back on; then I realised it must have been a blood-blister. I think.

Took a Photograph of the beautiful puffer-Clouds

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got The Nosh Prepped

Ate it all up, put the tray down and nodded off into a wonderful sleep. Then, realised that I'd only been asleep for ten minutes! Woke up in a panic, have the Carers been and I not heard them? Then realised that the door was open anyway, and they all come in under their own steam...

Could I get back to sleep? No! So I didn't?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Got Up And Onto the Computer

I seemed to be getting on rather well with the updating. Then saw the time... Gone 18:30hrs?

I pondered on whether to call Meridian or not? Not late at all! Managed to get my head together - I'd been getting the times wrong in my Vascular Dementia affected head.

No panic, I pressed on with the updating.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Carer Buzzed & Came in

Soon got my medications taken. Had a job finding the INR Dosage sheet, though. Hey-Ho! It was Carer Helen (I think).

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Pressed on with this updating. Took me a while, and Nicodemus's Neurotransmitters, which have been very calm all day, burst into life.

Posted off the diary. Sent Email links. Went on Facebooking, TFZer and Winwood Heights sites.

Evening all!
