Billum's Underground Laboratory
UPDATED REPORT
I visited the labs, underground at Crowell Mansion,
Where I received, a wonderfully warm welcome,
Billum was in the laboratory, working on time-travel & fusion,
But Petal-Lisa, make brew, with great sensualisation...
A mug of Glengettie & a wriggle, much to my satisfaction,
Just thinking about the ga, I get excited hortations!
Billum, he's a scientist, topologist and numerologist,
He told me one of his labs had undergone a transmutation,
I was totally bamboozled, to be perfectly honest...
Been dedicated to slide rules, their uses and other permutations,
But he's a grand chap, a vegan, caring, and a pacifist,
If I knew what he was talking about, I might have shown stupefaction...
One of the cleverest men I know... and the wittiest!
I think we are both law-abiding, even if straightlaced...
Talking numbers &, I thinkhe noticed me grimace...
Kindly, he said, I'll explain it all to you', and my worries eased...
Took me down to the Lab 242 and opened it with his keys....
A giant-sized Slide Rule, Billum did adorn,
Showed me the blackboard figuring, he'd drawn,
He pointed out how and why... I was forlorn...
His efforts top educate me, I felt as if on chloroform...
He must have thought an ignorant greenhorn.
After three days, gave up trying to explain...
He kindly gave me a Glengettie and a frangipane,
But I still to grasp the working once again...
Bill was excited, words flowed, but were transmundane,

I so wanted to understand, but didn't have the brain,
Angel-Petal understood, and gave me medical cocaine...
Not used to it, I saw things, a ghost like a buggane...
I got the dizzies, fell of the chair, and broke his weathervane...
Billum laughed, thought it funny... but that's him, always humane!

ReplyDeleteI loved that visit we had! I have some breakfast ready now (remember you are on US Eastern Standard Time now!). I made use of the lovely brioche I got on Amazon Fresh a couple of days ago and fresh organic eggs, milk and vanilla! We had French Toast with Bill's signature warmed Mrs. Butterworth syrup! Having made home made pancakes every morning for Master Alan Ziegler in his childhood, he is good at it! He also made meatball hoagies, French bread pizza, bought Cap'n Crunch to be eaten dry as snacks, spaghetti...a minimal menu to be sure, the lads being related and liking what they like, and that's that! So don't worry, Petal- Lisa will always spice things up and make the meals interesting! We love when you visit and it's okay to zone out on Billiums deep dives - or for even more fun - try to ride that wave! ha ha! You are similar so we all get along so very well!! We have your guest room set up with a new recliner that offers shiatsu massage, gentle vibrations and a fancy emergency wee wee device next to the recliner that looks like a fancy Japanese toilet!! haha! You have the upstairs front bedroom where Petal used to live while in college trying to let Alan have FULL control of his beloved Papa! Alan lives in the apartment now - and is down the hall in the large dormer with its own kitchen and walk out landing which allows him to watch the deer, cats and other wild life roam being unnoticed on his perch! You and he will enjoy this vista as we try to see the June alignment of planets Mercury through Saturn - adding the moon in just a few days! You can enjoy the jacuzzi bath if you dare! It was traded up to Alan's bathroom after Petal became a more delicate flower, having a new large shower for safety put in it's place downstairs. Believe me, Billlums and Petal enjoyed that jacuzzi bath after we had been out drinking and carousing back when people could smoke at bars! haha! If we do that when you are here, we have to come in the back door, stop at the basement door on the way to our respective bedrooms and toss our smoky clothes down the steps, go to the Jacuzzi and squish in together (I'm sorry, but this was just a memory - you can have it all to yourself when you head up to the second floor!). We have to get all the smoke out of our hair - wait you and Billums have no hair anymore, and Petal's thick shoulder length curls have long since been traded for a pixie! So - scratch that! Our ethereal visits can invoke the time machines being worked to perfection in Lab 242! I will have a new hand made bunny for you to snuggle when you sink into sweet Morpheus' arms! You may be jolted awake in the wee hours by something that sounds like someone trying to break into your windows! Never fear - it is only a fat racoon who climbed onto the slant of the roof from the overhanging giant Oak tree that grew from an acorn about 15 years ago. He or she likes to lay on the roof outside your windows that are level with the porch roof! There are so many eccentric twists and turns in Crowell Manor. Bravo to Billiums for transporting you over! Seriously, my favorite picture you made is where you come to visit us using our Christmas picture of the living room where Bill is lying on the couch and we're looking at each other across the room. Then our British gent arrives with bags and baggage, trunks, no doubt filled with supplies of Glengettie and other English specialties not available here! Hugs and snuggles to you my Darling! I loved your imaginative (ethereal?) visit!
ReplyDeleteWell, thanks or the cheering up gossip and love shown Petal-Lisa! ♥♥♥ Loved it. Carer Richard did not come in this morning, and forgot to inform them, apparently. I hope he's alright. I had to take a beta-blocker and Codeine 60g, as th metal ticker was starting to motor a bit. Just took those, and a carer arrived to explain why no one called. Not her fault, gave her a can and nibble of her choice, and she shot off to do some more catching up. The blopcker is helpingm e calm down now, after half an hour, well pleased with that.
ReplyDeleteWhile waiting for the carer, I made a start on a new graphic for the Manor Labs. When I get it done, I'll post it, gal. Th ideas is funny methinks, but the shakes are causing me to make many errors... hopefully I found and corrected them all. X

I also like to keep a low profile and not disrupt the gentle harmony of an ethereally-ready day. And always remember that no problem is too daunting if you have holstered slide rule quick to hand. Haha! :-)
