Inchies Day: Sunday 23rd May - Ode, Graphicationalisations. Photographicalisations and some local news

"The Doctor told me to, "Take off that baggy vest"...

I told him that I wasn't wearing one!

Morning Ode

I gave up trying to sleep at eleven-thirty,

Got up for a wee-wee, it was a bit squirty,

I was feeling miffed and a tiny-bit shirty,

With the lack of kip, my mood was not purty,

Fact is, I was getting upperty,

Got on the computer - with impropriety,

Glumness now, possibly in perpetuity,

Deleted photos, from twelve until 02:30!

5hrs to finish Sat's diary properly,

And I still await the arrival of puberty!

Hehehe!

Health Checks Tended to:

The temperature is down, and the Blood Pressure is too! The Pulse, just fine! All results are in the Green!

Vascular Dementia Thoughts in Ode

When I go a whole night without any sleep?

It's hard, my mental faculties to keep,

My brain's mixed up, like a junkheap!

Into my grey cells, confusion does creep,

The BP readings are not so steep,

Memory loss, meretriciousness, come cheap!

Started prepping Josie's Sunday meal! Then got on with I spent a few hours updating this blog!

Ablutions abluted

Well, what a great session that was! No, bother with the teeth. Shaving, only one tiny cut! Saccades Sandra calemed down a lot! Not a single bang, toe-stubbing or clout! And, no falls! No bleeding from Little Inchies fungal lesion, nor Harold's Haemorhooids either!

However, the dropsies were numerous but never mind. Got dressed and finished off Josie's lunch.

Josies Lunch delivered spot on time!

Whoopsiedangleplop! No answer from Josie when I rang her buzzers!

She's been very good and remembered about her Woodthorpe Court Sunday Twelve o'clock Chef's meal for the last four weeks too?

Now, has forgot and gone out to meet with her Sister? Is she poorly?

I struggled back in the flat and put the meal in the fridge, after making room for it, along with the can of Posh perry away. Put the strawberry & vanilla Cornetto and Limoncello dessert back in the freezer.

But I was a smidgeon worried about her. So, I popped out again and tried her buzzers once more... Aha! She cometh to the door in her dressing gown. She'd been in the bath and forgot all about her cook arriving. Hehehe!

AT least she was alright, and in a good mood, too! I explained the meal to her and the extras.

I wasn't worried about her forgetting; after all, I'm as bad as anyone when it comes to losing things, missing things and senior moments. Hahaha! Probably worse!

She actually thanked me this time. It was nice to see her a little cheerful, bless her cotton socks! It cheered me up a tad as well.

I went on the YourArea Emagazine to find some bits of interest (Mostly Murders & Covid)

Handwashing Done!

The usual mess was made, and all the worse for Nicodemus's neurotransmitters dying at just the worst time possible. Git!

Tea & took a Photo

I made a mug of Thompsons Punjana, and while it was brewing, I took a photo of the murky looking but beautiful sky.

The much-missed sleep made a comeback... Zzzz!

  1. Imagine forgetting something? Remembering anything is a major effort these days. It was a excellent looking meal.

  2. Nice to see yer numbers in the green. Well done, measuring devices: well measured.
A grand photographicalisation of myself and HRH Lisa. Lisa also very much approved of your photos on today's FB entry. Nice to see good old Loki again, as well. Thanks for thinking of us, Sir!
Your crime statistics are much better than ours. Might just have something to do with multiple guns per household. I do not think I have ever fired any rifle with more power than a 22mm. Oh well.
We wishes you a tremendous Tuesday!

  3. Oche, yer's more than welcome, Mon Amis! For HRH, ♥
I used a few weapons in the TA forces, but not my cup of tea - that'll be Glengettie. Hehe!
I went in the medics, as saving lives seemed more important to me, even at that tender age.

As you know, memory problems are causing me much aggravation. Humph!
It's the know-alls that get to me, with their; "Well 'I' always write things done..." or, "Leave a note for yourself! Well I do, but the problem is it doesn't work. Change to do someting else, and things go right out of this head... Sorry, I'm moaning.

  4. Tim.
A bad week for the serious Whoopsiedangleplops, Sir. Thursday now, and they continue to pester me.
Still, I've ordered some more Glengettie and Thompsons Punjana tea bags from Amazon - jsut hope the intercom is working when they arrive... I'm moaning AGAIN. Tsk!
Cheers Tim, L and the furries... o, and owls, and birds...
