Tuesday 27th July 2021.

04:45: Woke, wishing I felt like I did yesterday morning. But Anne Gyna and Duodenal Donald had both returned to keep me company.

Getting out of the £300 second-hand recliner was back to being a painful struggle. However, the wee-wee had no pre or after dribbles and was not hurtful at all.

So, alls not bad.

Off to the kitchenette to get the kettle on, and I took a couple of photos with the Kodak camera of the morning view.

Prepped for the Morrison Delivery

Emptied the waste bags out of the box on the trolley, so I could use the box to put the food delivery items into it when delivered.

Put some carriers ready to use, as I don't think the box alone will be big enough; it's a big order. But I can always rely on Morrisons for something to be missing and stupid substitutes. Checked on the emails to see if any details were available yet...

Nope, no email. So the mystery of what will be missing, and any substituted, remains a guess. I soon found out, though. Humph!

Porcelain Throne & ablutions

Back in a while... The Porcelain Throne session went much more manageable than usual, although a smidge gooey. And massive again! Hehe! I'm back: and with decent news of both tasks completed.

The teeth cleaning went well. Four minor nicks shaving. Not too many dropsies!

A Stand-up job, too early to use the shower.

Ear oil, eye drops,  Germoloided Harolds Haemorrhoids, Nasal clearance, and I Phorpain gelled ankles and knees.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

A Mug of Glengettie - Computer On

Started this blog off. Stopped to check on the day and time of the Morrison order. Due today. Got just to graphics completed, and the carer arrived.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Carer Sam(antha) Arrived

08:00hrs: Meridian's morning carer appeared in the kitchen when I was making a mug of tea. Got me sorted, and we ham a couple of minutes chinwag, mainly consisting of me telling her about yesterdays fantastic morning 'feel-Good' experience and how things are back to their painful and handicapping best now. Hehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 Morrison Delivery Arrived

And what a farce it was!

They are doing like Sainsbury now and delivering loose, no carrier bags. I handed the man the box and two sacks to put the good into.

As he was on the last delivery box, he came across a leaking bottle of toilet cleaner and bleach bottle! What a mess! Took him ages to get it sorted. Took the bleach and bag of potatoes that had got soaked off of the bill. The bleach had also destroyed the boxes holding the nasal spray, and Germolene, what else, was yet to be discovered!

Off he went, and I collected the bleach smelling fooder and took it into the kitchen.

Not in a good mood now! And it got worse!

Far less food to go into the fridge and freezer. Partly due to the items 'Not Available', and stupid substitution again!

No Garden Peas
No Small Potatoes
No Milk Roll Bread
No Spring Water
No Limoncello Dessert

I'd ordered two small 90g pots of Limoncello (Josie likes them), and they substituted them with another Limoncello alright - one large 490g tray. Massive, and once it's opened, it will not keep for long. Never mind... much!

Added to the hour-plus I had to spend cleaning up the products with bleach on them. A most unsatisfactory food delivery.

Nothing new there then!

Waste Bags Sorted & to the Rubbish Chute

Got myself in a pickle sorting out the bags due to MBS (Memory Blank Spots). I didn't have any of them yesterday, which was super - but their return today makes me feel all the worst for them. It's not good.

Off to the Chute Room...

Came back to the flat, stored the trolley in the corner of the hallway, breathed a sigh of relief, and got into the kitchen... to find I'm missed off two bags of waste. So back to the chute with them, both, deposited them, and wanted to cry!

After yesterdays Miracle Bother Free day, this incident had me all bothered, tense and fed-up!

Thank You, Morrisons, You Made It!

Back to CorelDraw Graphic Creating

Got two for tomorrow done, then tried to get some had down.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

No Chance!

Gave up and got up again! Went to check around to see that I'd not left something on or off that should or shouldn't be, and blow me, I found another waste bag in the kitchen!

Ablutions... well, A Shower Taken

I went very well, as did the medicationing, too! Duodenal Donald and Anne Gyna were coming into active modes!

The feet and less were looking good. But Colin Cramps was still giving me some stick.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

To The Chute Room.

Trapped the knuckles for the first time in ages, and I hope it will be ages before I do it again!

Updating this Blog

As I wait for the evening carer to arrive, they could come any time now. Hello, odd noises coming from somewhere, sounds a persistent flapping of a letterbox lid, but louder, of course. I'll go and make sure it wasn't anyone knocking... Nope!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Carer Julie Arrived.

Nice, gal. Got me sorted, and we had a minute or two chin-wagging. Lovely! ♥

Took me hours.

Ode To The Day

Not as good as yesterday, a bit of a sham,

Must get ready for Friday's echoencephalogram,

Better not take a water tablet or alprazolam,

It's been a day of utter farce and bedlam,

Dentist on Monday, better take the citalopram,

Morrison's disaster gave my confidence a slam,

Duodenal Donalds bad, I'll take Codeine, a 30 gram,

Am I bothered? Could I give a damn?

Am I losing it again? I am, I am!

Monday 26th July 2021: Diary, Photographicalisations, and maybe the odd ode, that might be told?

TFZer With a keen fan? Hehehe! ♥

MONDAY 26th JULY 2021

Blimey, was I in an industrious mood this morning! Woke at 05:50hrs, wee-wee needed, and within about three minutes, I'd parted company with the £300, second-hand, c1968, horrendously grungy coloured, eyesore of a haemorrhoid-testing, unfit-for-use, recliner, and utilising the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket). No pre or after leakages! Took the bucket for cleaning and sanitising - and I found myself at the kitchen sink, giving it some with the lounge pants washing in the sink. Eagerly, too?

All done, washed, rinsed, refreshed and hung to dry above the sink. All of the ailments were of little bother to me... This is weird! I wondered if I'm taken any cocaine without realising it?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I carried on grafting away?

Finished and cleaned up a bit, then got the waste bags made up and into the box.

There seemed to be no stopping me?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Stand-Up Ablutions Done

I was still amazed at how kind Arthur Itis, Back-Pain Brenda,, Duodenal Donald etc., were being with me; it was actually concerned me; this was so unnatural.

Too early for a shower yet. But I got the teeth done, remembering to use the new prescription toothpaste... Even the memory, as well as the alacrity and enthusiasm, was showing, nae rampant, this morning?

I wondered if I might have died during the night, and my mind and body mended, and I'd been sent back down to try again, to get it right this time? No toe-stubbing, no walking into doorframes or furniture... Something is amiss here!

And this unhead of for years, enthusiasm for cleaning the place? That's nonsensical, absurd, verging on lunacy!

Why even Little Inchies fungal lesion and Harold's Haemorrhoids are not bleeding today?

You can understand my concern... can't you? Is this really happening?

Paradoxically, the legs looked better than they have for ages, too?

Health Checks Performed

Just look at the resulting figures here: very fair indeed.

Carer Cassie Arrived

As I was making a brew. She soon got me sorted out and managed a couple of minutes chinwag afterwards, bless her.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Started answering Blogger Comments

There was such a lot of them, but I managed to get them both replied to. Hehe!

A Summoning to the Porcelain Throne

Ah, things might be getting back to normal, or not, we'll see. This session was a really messy job; a lot of content made getting the flush to work a struggle, needing several refills and flushed to clear the WC, and then the recycled toilet paper stubbornly floated mockingly, laughing at me, atop of the water!

I still left some traces of the TP after all my efforts to clear the Porcelain Throne. Tsk!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Weird Enthusiasm Returned

I'd decided to get the kitchen floor cleaned and mopped. And went at it with some gusto!

The moment I felt the pain under my right foot as I pressed the pedal to first spin the mop - I realised I'd not got any socks or slippers on.

Now, this is more like reality!

I got it done; limpingly. Hahaha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Out Onto The Balcony

I took some photographs of the workmen back at the new car park creating site.

Then I took a closer shot.

Got the Sunday Blog Finished

So they could change the formatting, fonts sizes etc., before publishing. Which they did, again! And sent of to Google Blogger.

Ode To The Day So Far

From worries, I feel self-absolved,

I didn't feel uptight or frampold,

Determine the cleaning will be resolved,

Work ethics today had me in a stranglehold,

The reason for this was never solved,

My determination to work was semibold,

The ailments didn't want to get involved...

Even the brain, I caught caprioled,

Singing to myself, songs of old...

At housework, I seem to have extolled?

My worrying, just got dissolved?

Had insanity now taken a hold?

Had I caught Covid or got a bad cold?

Mopped the kitchen floor, behold!

I didn't feel handicapped or even old?

Had I died or just devolved?

Has someone slipped me Amsterdam Gold?

My thoughts on life were circumvolved,

What's happening? I need to be told!

Is this heaven in which I've a foothold?

Me? Enjoying cleaning the household?

Me? That's hard to see and behold,

My brain, has it been cavorted, caracoled?

Or is it the Vascular Dementia, getting bold?

Then took this Art Decko(?) shot, when I nearly dropped the camera, but caught it, taking this photograph below.

Came out clearer than an intended shot? Hehe!.

Sunday 25th July 2021: Diary, Photographicalisations, and maybe the odd ode, that might be told?

♥ TFZers Visiting Nottingham! ♥

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sunday 25th July 2021

I woke for a wee-wee, around 03:00hrs, a trickling, painful affair. Thinking the infection had returned, I thought little of it and decided to get up early. ( I knew I had to get up early; why, what for, I wasn't so sure?)

I sat down to use the shoe-horn to get my slippers on... and fell asleep again...

07:05hrs: I stirred again. With the long shoehorn snuggled in between my legs, the top half balancing on my humungous, wobbling belly. It was quite an awakening. Then got the shoehorn to the safety of the cabinet door. (It's only plastic, you see)

To The Kitchenette - Accifauxpas!

I went to make a brew of my beloved Glengettie tea. It was something of a miracle that it ever got made.

I was doing well, but I think the Thought Storms were the reason for the Whoopsiedangleplops that followed by breaking my concentration:

Made the mug and dropped the milk taking it out of the fridge. Cleaned up the mess, and I went to add the milk to the mug again...

I dropped the bottle a second time! (Thankfully, it was a plastic bottle).

Cleaned up the mess.

Dropped the teabag taking it out of the mug. I can, at this point, confirm that a hot teabag dropping on your protruding stomach can make you jump a bit!

Taking the fresh brewed Glengettie into the computer room, I misjudged the distance twixt the doorframe and my right shoulder. (I can also assure you this hurts)

And it is even more demoralising when you drop the drink, and it goes on your belly and bare legs! It also encourages the use of foul language!

Germolened the stomach. Cleaned up the mess!

Mayhaps it's Going To Be One of Those Days? Hehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Yes, it was!

The call to the Porcelain Throne arrived. A super-gooey affair! (will I ever get a mug of tea?) Hassle to clear the contents of the WC, as well. A bit of bleeding, uncomfortable, but not painful at all.

I decided to get a stand-up wash. The teeth cleaning went fine, but getting rid of the Duraphat toothpaste by just spitting, no mouthwash or rinsing allowed, was a bother. The legs looked in fine form, mind you.

I'm not sure what happened with the photo of the rag in the sink or why I took it, but it's on the SD card? Looks distorted too?

And all the time rushing, cause I'd remembered no Carer had called yet. Got it done, though and went to make a brew that I might get drunk again.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Carer Valerie Arrived

As I got in the kitchen and made the brew, Valerie arrived to sort me out.

Valerie had brought with her a new innovation I'd not been privy to before. A carers roster!

She pointed out that there was no mention of a Carer for Saturday morning on it. Bless her! She is going to mention this to the leaders of Meridian.

Valerie is so good at her job. She remembers to ask me if I'm going out or have taken any Pentac or Paracetamols every visit.

Sister Jane Phoned

♥ Seen here, with much-missed Mr Fooey! ♥

♥2014 - Jane and Pete ♥

We had a natter. About this that and nothing, I love those king of chinwags.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Started Prepping Josies Meal.

Got the Leicester cheese, added some salt all ready to do the potatoes when they have boiled.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Missed Phonecall

It came in as I was making a brew. I shot, well, hobbled to the landline, but it stopped the second I reached for the handset! Humph!

Hello, the wee-wees are getting frequent!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Whoopsiedangleplop - Accifauxpas!

Back to the kitchen to finish making the tea, to find I'd left the garden peas on high heat... Clagnollocks! The tea had gone cold! So had to open a tin to use.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Phonecall In

Sister Jane, I'd forgot to ring her back. Dumbo! Got some medical updating on Xyrophobia suffering on Brother in Law Pete's Scheduling, hospital appointment wise. Tuesday; A Template Biopsy (City Hospital). Thursday; Prostate checks on his cancer. A busy week for him! And Jane had had her ears done at last.

Sorted Bags, To The Chute

Tackled Josie's Nosh

Got it done, a special treat for her today... well, three, actually. Extra cheese in her cheesy mashed potatoes, Gordons Gin, and some mild mustard boneless mackerel fillets.

Got it delivered on time again to her front door.

She seemed to like the look of it, and after inspecting it and interrogating me on what's what, a smile broadened her face! Haha!

Passed its Inspection!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Back to the Flat

Got the washing up done and onto the computer to update this blog. Which I did up to here. The wee-wees are still flowing freely!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Accifauxpas!

Had a drink of the spring water, and the cap flew away from my hand (thanks, Nicodemus's Neurotransmitters!). I've not seen the bottlecap since. Even after a search around and a ten-minute battle to get back up on my feet. Hehe!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Made an order for Morrison's

I pray that they do not make any of their stupid substitutions this time. Please! It is booked for Tuesday 08:00 > 10:00hrs.

CorelDraw

Again, I was out of graphics to use, so I concentrated while the ailments were all being kind, the computer was still working, Carers not due for a few hours, and hopefully with no one to break my drive by calling me pressed on.

No choice, feeling shattered!

Woke up after an hour, and got the computer on, update this blog, and then start tomorrow's template, making it ready for use. Got a few done...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Evening Care Called

Unfortunately, she did not ring the chimer and came in to catch me calling Blogger and the computer a few names, of shall we say, erm... with a not lovely choice of wording.

Shame-Mode-Engaged!

I ask if she wanted any of the tubes of Colgates' toothpaste or bottles of Mouth Washes I could no longer use, and she took some back to the office in a bag I gave her. That was nice!

Soon got me sorted and was off.
