Friday 27th August 2021: Inchies Diary, and sometimes the odd ode, that might be told?

FRIDAY 27th AUGUST 2021

06:00hrs: I stirred into mock-life and awaited the brain to join me. What day is it? What needed doing? Anything urgent? I'm sure there is something... Ah, the decluttering, the clothes need sorting...

But first, a wee-wee was needed! Blimey, the bucket was well used last night? I added this morning's short-sharp reluctant trickle and took the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket) to be washed, sanitised and disinfected.

CBD - Hemp oil - Peptac Taken

Accifauxpa!

I took the under-tongue CBD and had a good gulp of the Peptac. The ineluctable first Accifaupas of the day was when I was dropping the hemp oil. Nicodemus' neurotransmitters failed and made my right-hand shake as I had the dropper in my mouth - I could easily have crunched on it. Haha!

Decluttering Prepping

I was feeling pretty perky now and made a start on clearing the clothes in the junk room. No rushing, I took my time, working at a steady pace. I even found myself singing as I went along? Some of the photos I took afterwards were a bit shaky, and Peripheral Pete and Nicodemus's neurotransmitters kept going off-line - but I thought I coped well.

It may look like a right mess, which it still is, of course, but a far less messier mess than before I started the task. Then again, I could be wrong, methinks?

Work-Spurt Ends!

I was trotting along, thinking how well I was coping. Then a sudden weakening came over me. Not physically or depression-wise, mentally perhaps. I just could not go on anymore with the decluttering?

I took these snaps, so many of them blurred, but I didn't notice this at the time.

The walker-guide was now filled with things to go. The comfort of having Jillie to help me out is just that, a comfort!

Waste Bags Made-Up and Amassed

I put them in the box, ready to go to the chute room later on.

Crockpot Utilised

Got the spuds in the slow-cooker. I've done well in not eating any bread nor spuds for two days. Today will be a weakening and a special treat day for me. Haha!

♥ Carer Jillie Arrived ♥

It is like the sun coming out when Jill gets here! A carer that really cares! She sorted the medications and asked the questions.

Of course, I got the usual telling offs. I think Jillie was impressed with my past two meals being so small. Hehe! She offered me a few words of support and advice, and we managed a laugh or two! ♥

Jill took the got-to-go bag and things with her and departed. But as with Arnie, She'll be back! Tonight! The gal had cheered me up and encouraged me; she usually does, bless her.

But her leaving leaves me smidgeon low.

Porcelain Throne Needed

Well, that went superbly well! Apart from some bother sorting out Little Inchies fungal lesion bleed, I don't think there was a single inimical event at all! The gigantic evacuated product took a while to flow. But I actually had a bit of success in doing the crossword, still on number 98, mind you.

When the procedure did start, it was smooth, bloodless and not hurtful at all! Great!

Oddly, to say that I didn't use any cleaner or disinfectant, the bowl of water bubbled away after the single flush needed to clear things out. I could even hear it?

On The Computer

With Herberts Accompanying Noise

I made a brew of Glengettie tea and started sorting out and updating this post.

I did my best on updating this blog. But it was hard, slow work again. Nicodemus and Shaking Shoulder Shirley being the main culprits. Although, to be fair to them, my own inorthography and inscience held me back somewhat too. This hour-long session was uncomfortable, annoying and frustrating.

End Car Park Check (Hehe!)

One maintenance van, and some residents red van, plus three either President or visitor cars. Being used a bit more now!

I could not resist the temptation to create a funny graphic on this photo - So, I did!

Here it is: Suggested Security measures to encourage residents to feel parking at the top end can be made safer:

Hahaha!

Dastardly, Mr Fries!

Got My Head Down

But, thanks to the indeterminacy of Sweet Morpheous, sleep did not come. It may have had something to do with a decent programme being on the TV for once. Hehehe!

Ablutionalisationing!

Well, this evening's wet room session has not gone as well in many months! Almost perfect!

The total of the dropsies was only around about five, all the way through. Brilliant!

Fair enough, I did give myself two toes-stubbings. But no Dizzy Dennis, zilch Neuropathic Schuhplattler dances, or bangs or knocks! Oh, and no signs of Shuddering Shoulder Shirley! Grrreat! I got the medicationalisationing done and dressed with nae bother. Worrying in a way?

Checked on the Spuds

Nibbled one to see if they were cooked yet.

Washed the Jammie-bottoms

I did have a Whopsiedangleplop in doing this. I knocked some drying dishes off of the draining board, tried to catch them, and now have a bruised elbow to show off. Tsk!

Found Mystery Photo

I think I know where I took it, but of course, I didn't intend to. Kitchen, would you like to have a guess, please?

Nosh served To Eat Later.

Got the fodder on the mini-platter to eat later, after finishing this blog and then the  Facebooking. That is if I'm still awake to do it! It's getting late now...

Sometimes I consider Sweet Morpheus a despot!

Like today, could I get to sleep? It wasn't too hot,

I was not over-worried, at least I think not,

Nearly nodded off once, but needed the pisspot,

What chances of rest for me? Not a lot!

Oh, dear, did I leave on the tap or crockpot?

I got up to order food, got an Iceland delivery slot,

I got up and stubbed my toe - what an idiot!

  1. Just for the absolute heck of it, I am observing that Friday is close enough to Friesday to be worrisome. Wot an oreful guy and a pain in the internet...but I think it is better to change it back to Friday, that feels better already.
Organising yer place only occurs when yer set up some staging places to temporarily give yer some space to work on, it promises to be a success, particularly with the aid and assistance of Carer Jill.
The spuds are faring fairly well somehow, perhaps the inventories are increasing somewhere in the supply chain...but wot do I know?
I like wot you have done with the lower right corner of the photograph, it looks like Godzilla passed through and left his signature twisted metal in the wake.
Good to see great BP readings. Very fine indeed, kind Sir!

    1. Nice play with incompetent $200m + boss and internet destroyers name, there, Billum! I like it!
Ah, Jill, I with she's go for my adopt a Grandad scheme. Hehe! She popped in today, to tell me she had asked her hubby Eugene, to carry the heavy stuff from the spare room to the main room for me, and he will along tonight to do so! Brilliant, caring people! ♥ With HRH and yourself and Tim, I'm blessed!
Ah, my poor version of a sniper that was Billum. Hehe!
I feel guilty with the BP being so good lately.
      Thanks a million, Cheers!

    1. I fear how I'll manage when Jill has gone, which will be in a week or so, I think, Tim. Argh!
Jenny left me some tomatoes outside the door this morning; Jill got her hubby, Eugene to come tonight and move the heavy bag for me, reagy for the dodgy declutterers tomorrow - I'm blessed, mate!
