MONDAY 16th AUGUST 2021
02:25hrs: I stirred, clocked the time, and drifted off again. 04:00hrs: Re-awoke and considered how I really felt this morning. After over six hours of sleep, the overwhelming tiredness of yesterday was far less. Although, it was definitely still there with me. Glad about that!
Waste bags were made and collated, ready to go to the chute. Get rid of items put on the radiator for anyone calling who could use them.
Handwashing put on the stand-up airer.

I started to make up this blog. But Peripheral Pete and Nicodemus's Neurotransmitters were both making my concentration poor and my errors and mistypes far too many. I almost knocked the darned keyboard off of the desk at one time. Phwert! Went for a wee-wee.
All NCH & Red vehicles again?

Out Of The Recliner
There followed a serious of almost robotic meandering. So many things tackled, with not many getting finished from one job to another without rhyme or reason. I kept taking snaps of what I was up to as I did them.
My sanity really is in question here?
A wee-wee.
Potatoes in the crock-pot.
A scary trip into the sorting out room did me no good. Hehe! But I did get a box of stuff made up to go with other things.
After the terrible shock of the sort-out room, I had a look at how the food cupboards were looking. Ah, a lot better!
Moved the to go waste bags near to the doorway, ready to go. He says?
A busy hour or so, but I was feeling a lot betterer than yesterday! Sob! Sadly, I noticed the last of the fresh garden peas left...
Cleared some stuff from the wet room. And did a little paper shredding.
Call To The Porcelain Throne
Settled down and awaiting the commencement of the evacuation, I finished a crossword from the book! Well, I say finished, not completed! Because I had to look up two answers earlier on when I started number 97 (April, I think that was). I can't be called a crossword genius by any means. Hahaha!
Once the movement began, it was swift, smooth but oh, so messy afterwards to clean things up. The bruise and marks on the arm from my shoulder charging the doorframe yesterday morning were clearing up well. The minor flaws created a different pattern today.

Updating Blog
I eventually got the much changed by blogger overnight (Humph!) Monday post finished and posted it off, just in time... because...

Had a Brew - and stewed!
I made a brew of 99 tea and pondered on the latest series of Liberty-Global Failures in the scallywags internet service.
Pissed-off again now, bloody pathetic, overpaid, number-crunching, Steve Fries.
Who I think is slakeless, money-hungry, devouring, acquisitive, covetous, omnivorous, mercenary, ineffectual, incapable of providing decent internet service, but excellent at putting up the customer charges.
He lies better than Hitler and Stalin. He also baffles his own bosses with his number-crunching, pretend-profit forecasts.
He's the boss of Liberty-Global Virgin Media. Paid over $22m salary plus expenses and is untouchable, it seems.
A mafia-like character, methinks?
Still, he doesn't bother me. Ahem!

Liberty-Global Virgin Media is back online!
Hallelujah! Thanks, Mr Fries

Carer Arrived Latish
08:15hrs: The door chimes sounded. It was the morning carer, Valerie. It didn't matter much, as I am not going out anywhere, so there was no bus to miss. Haha!
Valerie got the medications sorted and granted me a minute or two natterings. ♥ Off she went, leaving a slightly saddened at her departure, Inchy behind her.

Herbert Started his Noise
Drilling, with some odd tap-tapping by way of an accompaniment for me. He was louder than usual too. I wished I could have been up there with him... no, that might not be a good idea! He must have a big job to do today.

Started Work on an Education Ode

Herbert Noiser Than Ever!
How anyone with decent hearing can stand, this is beyond me! It is so loud! Everywhere, in all three rooms and worse in the balcony?
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -.
Worked on this Update
Then tried to concentrate on the Ode to my Education. It took me ages. Every few minutes, the drilling sound emitted down to me.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Finally got the Ode Completed
Posted it to Blogger. Emailed the link

Photo of the end Car Park
Made a brew of Thompsons Punjana teas, and lovely it was too! Went into the balcony to take this shot.

Checked on Covid Figures for Nottingham
Belated Health Checks Done
Overall, in the pink. Not complaining if I can keep in the light pink; that'll work for me.

Noise From Herbert Again
Drilling, tap-tapping this time. Again so loud!
Still, as a certified 'Hero' of the charity shop, and NCH Management, and eremitic, aloof, sniffy attitude, I'd better say no more.

Ablutionalisationing Time
To the wet room. Not a bad session at all. The bruise and odd markings are coming out well enough now. Still, no bid from the Tate Gallery from the artwork? Tim Price snd Billum just can't believe it!

Got the waste bags in the box
As I was getting the trolley ready to use, I had to nip for a wee-wee. Then it dawned on me, I've not been wee-weeing much at all today - I wonder why?
As I got into the foyer, I could still hear the noise from above? Sounds like someone is drilling into the enforced concrete on the floor above? Ah, well! Off to the chute room.
Just the one mini-faux-pas in the chute room. A teeny weenie trapping of the knuckles.

Got the Nosh made
Sadly, the last of the garden peas were eaten. Did I cry? Of course not... the odd sniffle, maybe. The Taste-Rating was 7.9/10.

Head Down In Search Of Morpheus
But it was not to be found. I would have liked a bit of a kip before the carer comes...
But it was not to be,
So desperate was me,
I turned on the TV,
I fall asleep with the ad's normally,
Sleep was an absentee!
Then, I needed a wee-wee!
I began to dose off gradually...
The Carer came, it was Jillie!
Hehehe!
The moment the eyes lids drooped, and I believed I was going to nod off... Jill had come in again without me hearing her and bounded in the door with a typically delightful cheery, "Evening Gerry!" Frit me to death!
She was in a rush, soon got me sorted out, though. Had to shoot off her own words and bade her a sweet farewell...
All alone now!

Noticed the legs had changed?
The veins were getting a little nobbly on the surface again. The age-old ulcer marks seemed to be trying to show up again too?
A photo for the Tate again?

Got this blog finished, posted and emailed the links. Knackered again!
TTFN
You have many irons in the proverbial fire, Sir! Much to keep up with already, but now you must command the Starship Enterprise as her captain. Well, they've made a good choice in the matter, Billum Shatner is nothing compared to Captain Inchie, and no mistake about it.
ReplyDeleteThe extra pair of spectacles works wonders for your countenance, do they not? I need to try that one and see wot HRH Lisa thinks about it...
Herbert seems to have a full metal-laden shop up there in his lair. How is the hum fairing, possibly being drowned out by the Herbert-initiated metal orchestra. Hum...hmm...hum...
I think we should round the 150 BP reading to 149, it sounds so much more reasonable. 150 looks to the discerning eye to be 159, in my opine anyway.
Lisa has remarked about how well you keep up your manor, ship-shape condition. Perhaps HRH is wondering why I can't do near as well. Na, ja. So ist das Leben. Oder?
Wishing yer a tuneful Tuesday without the metallic contributions of Sir Herbert.
Hahaha! Billum Shatner in on the box over here, although I've not seen it, but I think the programme he introduces is call Weird or What? Doth thy HRH knoweth of it, Sir?
DeleteBy jimminee, you've done it again Billum! How you do this I know not - but todayeth I was conversing with a fine muxom lass who came from the Falls Team, and e had a good natter - during which she toldeth me that a lady on the eleventh floor, is being fdriven mad with it - yet with all the hassle of hospital stuff and declogging the flat, and HErberts synphonies, your are right, I've not noticed it as much at all. Now you've mentioned it I can hear it again. Hahaha!
Down again this morning, Sir the BP. Back out of the red and pinks into the amber. Methinks that Sarah from the Falls Team, helped.
Whatever life is, I fell we've got it wrong. Someone said that years ago, can't remember who, though, mate? Hehe!
He's been a lot quieter with it today - whatever that indicated, just as persistent, mind. I've got the Hum back to keep me com[pany as well... or, its from the plant room on the roof, of course?
Oh, I was shown a way of getting my trousers on, using a chair and the picker-upperer today. Mmm?
Best wishes and fortunes, Sir and Madam. ♥
